Apple iPhone drops to £150 and hundreds cut off iPads and MacBooks in Wowcher bonanza
Wowcher is offering Apple devices including iPhones and Apple Watches with these deals that offer affordable alternatives to shopping direct Apple products usually come with hefty price tags, but there are ways to save hundreds of pounds if you know where to look. Shoppers looking to upgrade their tech without breaking the bank can find countless budget-friendly gadgets at Wowcher, as the deal site offers discounted products from premium brands like Apple. By opting for Wowcher over Apple direct, shoppers can find a range of deals to suit any need and budget, with discounts on everything from iPhone 13 and iPads to Apple Watches and MacBooks. The main thing to consider is that these deals are for refurbished tech, with the prices often dependent on their condition. Regardless of their cosmetic condition, Wowcher assures that each device offers 'full functionality', providing shoppers with a significant saving to buying brand-new. With this in mind, we've scoured the site and hand picked some of our favourite deals on Apple devices. Here are five of our favourite Apple deals available at Wowcher. iPhone 13 – £249 First up is this refurbished MacBook Air 13', coming with a 48% discount compared to the usual £480 price tag. Powered by Apple's A15 Bionic chip, this model boasts a Super Retina XDR display, an 'advanced' dual-camera system and up to 19 hours of video playback on a single charge. Available in blue, green and red, this model first hit the market in 2021 but is still compatible with the latest iOS updates through to 2027. The price quoted is for the 128GB model in 'acceptable' condition so it may show some signs of cosmetic wear. Shoppers can upgrade to larger storage and better conditions for £300, which is still cheaper than Currys ' refurbished deal in 'good' condition for £348.97. iPad Mini (5th Generation) – £135 Shoppers looking for a budget-friendly tablet can pick up this iPad Mini (5th generation) for £135. Released in 2019, the lightweight and portable tablet weighs only 308g but can still perform demanding tasks thanks to Apple's A12 Bionic Chip. The iPad has a 7.9' Retina Display and 8MP rear camera, along with a 10-hour battery life and 64GB capacity. This model also comes in 'acceptable' condition, with the 'very good' model coming in at £179. Those opting for the 'acceptable' version should note it will have 'minor' cosmetic marks, but Wowcher says full functionality is guaranteed after 'comprehensive testing'. Those preferring a new but affordable model may want to check out Sky Mobile 's rival deal, where the 2024 iPad Mini is available for £14.50 when spreading the cost over 48 months, with a small upfront cost of £6. Sky also has rival tech gadgets as part of its split plans too, including Samsung and Google devices for those who'd prefer an Adroid device. Apple Watch Series 8 – £210 This Apple Watch Series 8 is available for more than half the usual price from IncTablet for the 41mm model, with the slightly larger 45mm version starting at £225. This 2022 model of Apple's smartwatch offers a raft of features, including messaging, social media notifications and weather forecast, as well as monitoring of blood oxygen levels, ECG readings and exercise tracking. It's designed with a crack and dust resistant Retina Display and can even be used up to 50m underwater. The Series 8 is compatible with iPhone 8 or later running at least iOS 16, but buyers should note it will only support Apple's iOS software until 2026. However, shoppers happy to fork out a little more may want to check out the latest price cuts at Argos and Very, where the Apple Watch Series 10 – the latest model – is £100 off at £299. iPhone 11 Pro – £149 The 'Pro' models of the iPhone range provide a higher build quality and a more powerful battery compared to the standard versions, and this iPhone 11 Pro also comes with a £111 saving. Released in 2019, the 11 Pro can multitask thanks to Apple's A13 Bionic chip, while its triple-camera system offers ultra-wide, wide and telephoto lenses with night mode and 4K video recording. It boasts a 5.8' Super Retina XDR OLED display, 64GB of storage and has fast charging capabilities, but be aware it will only support Apple's iOS software until 2026. This particular deal is for a device in 'fair' condition, but shoppers can pay £50 extra to upgrade to an 'excellent' model. MacBook Air 13' – £149 It's not very often shoppers can find an Apple laptop in this price range, but Wowcher is offering the MacBook Air 13' for £149. Said to deliver smooth performance, this model is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor and 4GB of RAM, with 128GB of storage and a high-resolution LED-backlit display. The main thing to note with this laptop is that it first launched in 2017, so it's towards the older age range of these Wowcher deals. According to the retailer, the MacBook Air shows a few signs of wear and tear but is in overall good shape. Elsewhere, Sky Mobile's deal on the 2025 Apple MacBook Air 13' M4 has proven popular among our readers, with many snapping it up on the £20 per month plan with £2 upfront.

The iPhone 17 will be the latest new smartphone from Apple and while it has not been officially confirmed we can expect it to arrive this year. Apple is expected to launch the phone around the 8-10 September and pre orders usually open the same week of the reveal. Apple usually launches the phones via a glitzy live stream that typically takes place at 6pm UK time. The UK's major phone providers will reveal prices and availability on the same day and we can expect opening day orders from the likes of Sky Mobile, EE and Three. The new iPhone 17 is expected to come in standard handset version, a larger Plus model and a range-topping iPhone 17 Pro Max, which will be the fastest, most powerful option for those who want the best iPhone on the market. New iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Max prices According to recent leaks prices for the new iPhone 17 could increase by around £50 compared to the previous generation iPhone 16 phones. The standard phone could start from around £850 in the UK, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to cost from around £1,250. The prices would be an increase on the £799 costs of the iPhone 16 128GB model at launch last September and the £1,199 price tag for the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Prices for monthly contract deals could also increase but the good news for shoppers is that many UK providers offer cheap options even on the more expensive iPhone models. The iPhone 16 is now available for as little as £24 per month in the cheapest deal for the flagship phone, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max costs £38 per month on the cheapest contract on Sky Mobile here. The new iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Max would cost a little more at launch but prices under £30 are expected for the new phone at an entry-level price point. What else do we know about the new iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Max? There have been no official details about the new phones but rumours are circling that even the entry-level model will have an enhanced display with 120Hz ProMotion technology included on the base model for the first time. You can also expect big camera upgrades including a 48mp ultra wide rear camera for higher quality photography. The new devices could include Qi 2.2 wireless charging, supporting speeds of up to 25W, which means faster and more efficient charging on the new iPhones.
