This Morning host Ben Shephard experienced a significant health fright that proved to be quite alarming.
The television favourite, 50, encountered an eye-opening situation after participating in a stunt in New Zealand, a country renowned for its extreme sports and heart-racing activities.
Ben's initial encounter with New Zealand's wild side came during a university gap year. Yet, it was his latest escapade in the land of the long white cloud that has sparked conversation, reports the Mirror.
In a discussion with the Telegraph about his love for exploration, Ben reminisced, "The last time I was there, I had to bungee jump for a television show we were filming."
He explained the intensity of the experience: "My cameraman wanted to film me from loads of different positions, so I ended up doing four bungee jumps back to back."

Reflecting on the aftermath, he said, "When I got to the hotel that night, I saw that all the capillaries around my eyes had burst from all that pressure. I probably pushed my luck a little bit too far and got carried away, but loved every minute of it."
This revelation follows Ben's previous engagement with his fans, where he shared a "bucket list moment" in celebration of a significant birthday. Having recently turned 50, he has been embracing a series of personal challenges.
Keeping his Instagram audience in the loop, Ben has committed to being "the fittest I've ever been" undertaking cold water dips, embarking on 5k walks, and enduring ice baths.
He later extended his 50th birthday celebrations with a family holiday to Australia. Sharing a glimpse of his adventure on social media, Ben wrote: " So this is just a little bit exciting! ! ! !".

The attacker gained access to her hotel room using a traceable key card while Lucy was passed out from a night of heavy drinking. Opening up about what she hoped to find from her Celebrity SAS journey, Lucy tearfully said: 'Where I, where I... I've been broken so many times.' She described The X Factor as 'everything I'd ever wished for' before recalling the night that shattered her world. 'I was wasted, I was paralytic,' she said. 'The hotel porter said, "Oh I'll give her a hand," and I was paralytic. I passed out on the bed, so I can only tell you this stuff because of the information that I have been told.' She added, fighting to hold back tears, 'When that hotel porter came up to my room to do what not-nice people do to vulnerable women.' Lucy admitted the terrifying aftermath: 'I woke up and I didn't really know what… well, I knew what had happened but I didn't know what to do.' Thanks to the key card evidence, the hotel porter was caught and arrested. Lucy left The X Factor soon after, although viewers remained unaware of the true ordeal she endured. At the time when she quite the show, it was said it was down to illness. 'It was tough, hard,' Lucy said with tears flowing. 'It was seven years of, like, trying to destroy myself. The amount of times I was blackout drunk, again, after that. Opening up about what happened Lucy revealed that afterwards, she drank as if 'trying to destroy' herself and candidly confessed she knew she had to stop or she would die 'I know that's what that was, I was just trying to shut everything out, but it felt like everything was snatched away from me in a really brutal way.' She confessed her inner turmoil: 'And I was like, "I haven't done anything wrong." And so, I was angry about that, I was angry that other people had music careers that were better than mine. Or sad that I felt like I'd missed the boat. 'It all just got so heavy. I realised, I was like, "If I carry on doing this, I'm just going to die."' Carl 'Foxy' Fox then reassured her saying: 'We all genuinely believe that you'll get the most out of this course and getting to the end, regardless of how dark it gets.' Thankfully, Lucy has since found strength and happiness and tied the knot with her photographer wife Emilia Smith last June. The couple, who have been friends for 10 years, got engaged last March, just two months after telling the world they had unexpectedly fallen for one another. Simon Cowell walked her down the aisle after the pair patched up their relationship following her time on X Factor in 2012. Lucy explained that Simon was the first to apologise, previously admitting his call 'just made things so much better for me.' Emmerdale star shares all on new Robron love scene as couple's future 'revealed'
Robert Sugden is back on Emmerdale and is desperate to bring down killer John Sugden - but there's a certain distraction in the form of Aaron Dingle to deal with first Robert Sugden star Ryan Hawley has revealed all about Robert and Aaron Dingle's first love scene as the pair finally reunite on Emmerdale next week. On the ITV soap, in scenes set to air in just a few days time, both Robert and Aaron give in to their desire for one another. With Aaron left feeling guilty, Robert is convinced this is just what they need to get back together - and Aaron has finally chosen him. Speaking about the big scenes, and admitting things have been tough for Robert, Ryan explained to The Mirror and other press: "He just kind of breaks down in Aaron's arms and then they're kind of talking amongst each other, and Robert says it's time for him to go, and he needs to move on. It comes after a Coronation Street and Mrs Brown's Boys actor dies after short illness. "He shouldn't have come back. And then Aaron convinces him not to - and to stay and he's been fighting feelings the whole time as well. And we get our first Aaron Robert love scene!" Following their emotional reunion, Robert is convinced Aaron doesn't want to get back together. He explained: "I don't think he does. It's kind of a take it as it is - just this moment kind of thing. They say they don't want to think about that now, because of the circumstances that they've got, it's complicated. It is what it is right now." With John struggling over what he's done, and all the hurt he has caused, he is clearly close to cracking - and a worried Aaron, not knowing what John is really hiding, thinks getting away will save them both. But will Robert lose his one love? For fans hoping that there will be a reunion for Aaron and Robert, Ryan gave hope as he teased things weren't over just yet. He said: "We'll see from there and it kind of leads into the next phase of the story - which I won't be talking about. They kind of just take it for what it is and it's more as a starting point for the next storyline ... "I'm genuinely excited about the year that we've got ahead. I think the show's in a great place at the moment. I think the next year, the kind of the story arc that I've been told, I'm really interested in and really excited about." However, John's presence is still putting a spanner in the works for Aaron and Robert, and and with their plan to move out of the village, how will Robert react when he finds out their plan to say goodbye to the Dales? "He will be devastated, obviously. Robert came back to the village for Aaron, really. He'd be devastated - it was his reason to come back. He will be very worried about Aaron's safety, but at the same time, I think at this point, maybe he's starting to doubt whether or not he's right about John. Maybe John's gaslighting and manipulation's got through to him. Because everyone's saying the same things to Robert, that he's wrong about John and that he's just jealous," he said. It's clear there's still a strong love between Robert and Aaron, with his ex willing to do all he can to keep him safe. Asked if his character could kill to keep his soulmate safe, Ryan shared: "I think he could. He's killed people before, but it was always as an accident. The motive wasn't to kill the person. Could he? Yeah. But I don't think he wants to."
