Disney World — or Land — is the place travelers go to experience magic and make memories.
However, just because it's a place where adults can pretend to be kids again — doesn't mean there isn't proper etiquette to follow.

One SFGate editor, Katie Dowd, shared her gripe with rude behavior from Disney guests — and there's some truth to what she expressed.
Dowd described the scene of going on a ride like the Haunted Mansion at Disney Land for the first time and not being able to fully immerse yourself in the experience because of inconsiderate guests alongside you on the ride.

The fan-favorite ride always begins with actor Paul Frees' narration: 'Welcome, foolish mortals, to the Haunted Mansion. I am your host — your ghost host. Kindly step all the way in please, and make room for everyone. There's no turning back now.'
She mentioned how people who have experienced this ride before often annoyingly mimic the narration.
'Just because you've been on a ride enough times to memorize the spiel doesn't mean others have. It's one thing to laugh, clap or otherwise quietly enjoy an attraction. It's quite another to become a distraction,' she wrote.

Mimicking aside, Dowd also pointed out how irritating it is when fellow ride-goers won't stop talking.
'First-timers are at the mercy of regulars who apparently view the experience as a moving park bench. If your conversation can't wait 15 minutes, you shouldn't be getting on a ride,' she quipped.

She gave other examples of times she just wanted to enjoy herself at the amusement park, despite being there plenty of times before — and people's impolite behavior ruined it.

And while more people at Disney parks need to learn to zip it — others need to learn how to cover up.
Reportedly, a Disney World employee reprimanded a woman for wearing a sports bra and leggings.
Nicole Arena explained in a TikTok video that while in Epcot with her husband, she was told by a worker that she was 'improperly dressed' and was supposedly forced to 'buy a $45 tshirt or else I could not get on the ride I waited an hour for.'
'I had nothing showing other than my stomach and my arms, but you guys are acting like I went out naked,' she defended in another video.
'Anyone who goes to the gym knows it's totally fine to walk around with a sports bra and leggings on. I just went to Disney, how I would go to the gym.'
People in the comment section of Arena's videos did not hold back with their opinions on the situation, many siding with the strict employee.
'I mean it's a bra. Of course, you can't wear it to a family park. Be so for real. I am so happy they are finally cracking down.'

'Disney and the gym are two different places. A bra goes under shirts in family-friendly establishments.'
'Why would you go somewhere and not check the dress code? that doesn't make sense. but you are going where there are children. would you wear a sports bra to the store? no – you would wear clothing.'

Kim Egan moved from Los Angeles to Gig Harbor with her husband Brian and their two young children two years ago. She took to Reddit to reveal the big surprise they put together for their daughter Millie's third birthday: a homemade mini Disneyland. Those were only the tip of the iceberg when it came to the Egans' creativity, though. Not only did they put together a mini Disney castle for Millie to enjoy, but there was also a Sebastian's Splash Shack and, best of all, a Mickey Mouse-themed cinema projecting classic clips from the movies. "When the kids would go to sleep, my husband and I would spend hours laughing, talking and painting," Egan said. "It's a wonderful bonding experience for the whole family to enjoy." This isn't the end of the fun either, with Egan and her husband already plotting to put their family's new mini-Disneyland to good use over the festive break. "We are planning to display it for Christmas, so everyone of all ages can enjoy it, too," Egan said.
