Anyone with good taste knows that Harrison Ford is one of the coolest, funniest, most iconic, and stylish people to have ever graced Hollywood.
I mean, look at the material.
Well, yes!
There's a reason that today's stars are always trying — and failing (sorry) — to recreate the magic of this photograph from 1982.
Here's where you can find Paul Mescal and Pedro Pascal's recent takes on the pic and judge for yourself.
OK, now that I've had a good excuse to go through the Harrison Ford Getty archive, I must bring your attention to this clip from the 2023 Cannes Film Festival that is currently going viral.

For context, Harrison was at the festival in 2023 for the premiere of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the latest installment in the beloved franchise in which, for over 40 years, he's played a hot, fedora-wearing archaeologist. I'm sure you're familiar.
In the newest movie, there is a scene in which Harrison takes off his shirt. And during the Cannes press conference in 2023, one rather outspoken reporter made a point of sharing how much she enjoyed it.
In the clip, which was recently reposted on X and has over 1.4 million views, the reporter can be heard telling Harrison: 'Look, I still think you're very hot,' prompting the actor to lean forward in intrigue. 'We were stunned to see you take your shirt off in the second scene, it's just— you've still got it,' she added. 'How do you keep fit?'

Now, if you know anything about Harrison Ford, you'll know that — despite having a great sense of humor — it's notoriously difficult to break his grumpy old man facade. But, as this clip shows, being described as 'very hot' at 80 years old certainly appeared to catch him off guard.
Fumbling his words as he played up to the jeering crowd, Harrison replied: 'Look, I've been blessed with this body. Thanks for noticing.'
Honestly, the comedic timing? Impeccable. The resurfacing of this clip has brought me so much joy, and it seems like I'm not the only one.
Truly one of the greatest to ever do it. You can watch the full clip here.

‘Splitsville' Duo Michael Angelo Covino & Kyle Marvin Challenge Conventional Wisdom On Comedy's Global Reach – Comedy Means Business Podcast

As multi-hyphenates who together have premiered a pair of acclaimed indie comedies at Cannes — first The Climb in 2019, and more recently, Splitsville — Michael Angelo Covino and Kyle Marvin have a unique perspective on the old adage that comedies don't travel internationally. 'At the advent of cinema, what were the first blockbusters?' asks Covino in an appearance alongside Marvin on our Comedy Means Business podcast. 'It was like Charlie Chapman and Buster Keaton and a ton of Pre-Code stuff where everyone was naked. But for the most part, it was slapstick. It was silent films where people were falling down or crashing into things or a hose was spraying them in the face, and that is universal and goes worldwide.' 'But universal comedy, I think, translates better than any other genre.' Covino and Marvin's films together jointly embody an interest in absurdist comedy elevated by sharp writing and dynamic visuals, which focuses on relationships. While The Climb focuses on a revelation emerging from a long-distance bike ride and the strain that it puts on the relationship between two friends, Splitsville tells the story of two evolving marriages, and another revelation that complicates the relationship between those two couples. When Ashley (Adria Arjona) tells Carey (Marvin), abruptly during a road trip, that she's been repeatedly unfaithful and wants a divorce, Carey turns for solace to married friends Paul (Covino) and Julie (Dakota Johnson), learning that the key to their personal happiness has been to open up their relationship. In a last-ditch attempt to salvage his marriage, Carey pitches Ashley on a similar situation, and chaos ensues. Covino tells me on the podcast that a driving force behind his films with Marvin has been an interest in 'strong point of view' — stories embodying a unique juxtaposition between 'grounded emotions and characters' and 'absurd…and farcical situations.' From Marvin's perspective, the film also highlights their very simple goal of making sure that 'people are entertained' if they take the time to check out their work, in a moment where there are seemingly unlimited options, as far as what people can be consuming or doing with their time. 'I think for us, that means not holding back,' Marvin explains. 'If you can make everything interesting and compelling and believable, why would you hold back on the scenarios or situations that are fun to watch or have things going on that put pressure on character? I think we talk a lot about that entertainment value — what the experience of viewing the movie is going to be, and how we make that experience as fun as possible.' A joke a minute, with some really memorable visual gags, Splitsville is certainly that. It's a film with no clear comp, which while complicating conversations around marketing, affirms to Covino that he and Marvin hit on something good. In their appearance on our podcast, Covino and Marvin discuss the process of creating indie comedies unlike any you'll find elsewhere — one that was helped along, in this case, by Adam Newport-Berra, the cinematographer on the rise who's coming off his first Emmy nomination for his work on The Studio. The pair also discuss test screenings, the idea of cultivating 'future nostalgia' through the theatrical release, their desire to tackle a Christmas movie, and more. Covino directed Splitsville from his script written with Marvin, with the pair also producing. Neon releases the film in limited theaters on August 22 and will go wide with it on September 5. Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch May Survive MCU Reset After AVENGERS: SECRET WARS — GeekTyrant

A new Marvel rumor hints at the possible return, and preservation, of one of the franchise's most powerful characters. According to insider reports, Scarlet Witch might escape the fate that awaits many MCU heroes as Marvel preps for a major timeline reset. As Marvel Studios gears up for Avengers: Doomsday , with Anthony Russo and Joe Russo at the helm, the studio is playing things close to the chest. Official plot details remain under wraps, but Kevin Feige recently opened up a little about what fans can expect from the multiversal chaos to come. Feige previously said: 'Reboot is a scary word. Reboot can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. Reset, singular timeline — we're thinking along those lines.' He followed up with a comment that got X-Men fans fired up, adding, ''X-Men' is where that will happen next.' Feige also touched on the possibility of recasting legendary characters like Iron Man and Captain America, now that Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans have stepped away from the MCU. 'I think it's hard for anybody to do that when an actor has done such a great role,' he said. 'How are they going to ever replace Sean Connery [as James Bond], right?' But in the middle of all the talk of reboots and recasts, scooper Alex Perez from The Cosmic Circus dropped a tantalizing tidbit that fans of Elizabeth Olsen will definitely want to hear. When asked which characters won't be recast after Secret Wars , Perez responded, 'Scarlet Witch, for starters.' Now, let's be clear, this is just a rumor for now. Wanda Maximoff is possibly dead in the current timeline following the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness . Olsen's return hasn't been officially announced by Marvel Studios. Still, rumors and reports of her resurrection have been floating around for years, and this update definitely adds fuel to that fire. Whether this means a permanent return for Olsen or a cameo before the big MCU 'reset,' it's encouraging for fans who want more of Scarlet Witch's story. With Secret Wars potentially redefining the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, anything is possible. For now, we wait. But if Perez is right, Scarlet Witch could be one of the few constants in a brave new Marvel world. Avengers: Doomsday , currently slated for a December 18, 2026 release, will be followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027.

New Reported Details on the Hulk's Role in SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY and Whether It Sets Up WORLD WAR HULK — GeekTyrant

Marvel fans have been waiting to see what's next for Bruce Banner, and now new details about his role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day have surfaced. Mark Ruffalo is set to reprise his role as The Hulk in the upcoming Spider-Man movie, continuing the Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures tradition of pairing Peter Parker with established MCU heroes. We've already seen Iron Man mentor Peter in Homecoming , Nick Fury show up in Far From Home , and Doctor Strange take a central role in No Way Home . Now it's The Hulk's turn. According to The Cosmic Circus, Bruce's mindset when we meet him in Brand New Day is very different than before: 'Banner is at his wits' end. With the events of She-Hulk and Brave New World, he realizes now that his worst fear has become real. People can become the Hulk, and it really puts a stress on his behavior. That's the starting point for him on Brand New Day.' That tension will carry over into Avengers: Doomsday , but don't expect him to cross paths with Red Hulk or The Leader just yet. Both villains are reportedly still locked away inside The Raft. Naturally, fans are wondering if this is Marvel laying the groundwork for a World War Hulk film. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case. Reports say Spider-Man: Brand New Day 'sets up his role up for * Avengers: Doomsday , not for another Hulk movie.' This suggests Marvel's current plan is to evolve Hulk's arc within the larger Avengers story rather than spinning him off into a solo project. That said, fans are still hoping we'll see the Jade Giant lose the 'Smart Hulk' persona and return to the raw, savage version of the character. The crossover doesn't just set the stage for Banner. It also reaffirms She-Hulk's place in the MCU. Despite the mixed fan reception to She-Hulk: Attorney at Law , Tatiana Maslany will reportedly return for Doomsday . Scooper Daniel Richtman also notes that 'Spider-Man isn't in Doomsday , at least not in a major role unless they add him later.' That keeps the spotlight on Hulk and the broader Avengers lineup, which is absolutely stacked. Confirmed returning heroes include Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Letitia Wright as Shuri, and Paul Rudd as Ant-Man. The roster keeps growing with Wyatt Russell's U.S. Agent, Tenoch Huerta as Namor, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Lewis Pullman as Sentry, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Winston Duke as M'Baku, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Tom Hiddleston as Loki. Avengers: Doomsday will also feature the return of Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Channing Tatum as Gambit. Avengers: Doomsday is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, reuniting with screenwriter Stephen McFeely, with Michael Waldron ( Loki , Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ) also contributing to the script. Doomsday is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, with Avengers: Secret Wars following a year later on December 17, 2027.
