Peter Andre's strict rules for daughter Princess revealed amid Katie Price feud
Peter Andre had a string of strict rules for his daughter daughter, Princess, who he shares with Katie Price, as she filmed her documentary series. Princess currently stars in her own ITV series, titled The Princess Diaries, where she gives fans a glimpse into her life in the spotlight and her childhood in the spotlight.
Katie claimed she was banned from participating in the reality series, and the former glamour model shared her complaints on her podcast. Meanwhile, Peter has been praising his daughter's hard work on the four-part series and recently said he was 'strict' about what she could include in the series.
In a recent chat, Peter said it was tough for him 'to cut that umbilical cord at 18' as he discussed his daughter becoming more independent as she turned 18. It comes as Princess Andre explains why she's not called her mum amid alleged 'feud'.
Princess Andre explains why she's not called her mum amid alleged 'feud'
"I was very strict about what she wasn't allowed to, you know, I didn't want didn't really want her doing a lot of stuff before she got to the age that she can do it herself," he tole the MailOnline. "I'm really proud of her. I think she's a really sweet person and I really hope people see that of her and I just want her to shine and, you know, I want her to just go on and just become her own little true gem."
Peter also admitted he had struggled with 'letting go of the reigns' as Princess is still his 'baby'. He added: "They still say things that they've said when they were 10 or 1, like, they might be grown up in actual age, but they're still your baby."
It comes after Peter slammed Katie on Instagram in a statement that read, "For 16 years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.
"The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.
"In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children. Unfortunately there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months."
Katie subsequently responded with a post that read, 'I know I will always be seen as a sinner. That's fair. I allowed myself to fall into a reliance on drugs and alcohol. At times I was not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness.
'I have been at times a poor friend, an awful sibling, and an untrustworthy partner. I've self-medicated, been unfaithful, damaged myself and those that I love.'
Not long after, Katie's ex-husband, Alex Reid leaked footage of her waving a wad of cash while bankrupt. She tells her and Peter's daughter, Princess, that her younger siblings, Pete's children with his wife Emily, were "irrelevant." Katie can be seen counting cash in the video, before asking her daughter whether singer Peter "go on about" her bankruptcy and finances "a lot".
Peter was 'shocked' by the contents of the video, with a source telling the Mirror: "He's so shocked that she would do this in front of their young child and saying his young children are irrelevant. It's not about the money. How could a mother do that about young children?"

The Chase's Paul Sinha opens up on health scare 'worst week and a half of my life'
Paul Sinha, famed for appearing on The Chase, has opened up about experiencing the 'worst week' of his life after a devastating health scare The Chase star Paul Sinha has candidly opened up about a devastating health scare he suffered in a new interview on The One Show. The TV favourite, known for appearing on the ITV quiz show as The Sinnerman, appeared on the BBC One show on Wednesday (20 August) as part of a segment focusing on this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In a pre-recorded clip, Paul spoke about performing at the festival, as well as his decision to pursue stand-up comedy as a career and his health, having been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019. He opened up about attending Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023, recalling how he suffered two heart attacks during his time at the event. "The last time I came to Edinburgh Festival was 2023, I had a show that I really enjoyed but my time here was slowly spoilt by the fact that the first week, I had a small heart attack, and in the third week, I had a small heart attack. That's not the Edinburgh that you want," Paul said. The stand-up comedian continued to work throughout the festival, but he was eventually admitted to hospital later in 2023 and had to undergo an operation. "I had a coronary artery bypass operation, which I can honestly say was the worst week and a half of my life," Paul sadly admitted. He added: "Everything has been a sort of comeback since then. Steady, unspectacular comeback, no great drama." Paul's beloved husband Oliver, who he married in 2019, made an appearance in the clip, revealing how he is always on hand to help Paul with his stand-up shows and ensuring he takes his medications to control his Parkinson's symptoms. Looking to the future, Paul told the camera: "Life's short, and I think it's very important to get the balance right between doing the right thing for your health and not getting rid of the stuff in life that brings you joy. It's a difficult process and it's a difficult balancing act." Paul is famed for being one of the six Chasers on ITV's The Chase, having starred on the show since 2011. He appears alongside Shaun Wallace, Darragh Ennis, Anne Hegerty, Jenny Ryan and Mark Labbett. He's also appeared on numerous other TV quiz shows and previously fronted his own ITV programme, Paul Sinha's TV Showdown.
