If you've ever had a "case of the Mondays," you know that oftentimes means oversleeping your alarm, getting stuck in traffic, forgetting your cell phone or wallet at home, or all three.
This year, Coors Light is turning the phrase into a literal case of beer with Mondays Light, which is new limited-time packaging "designed to bring chill to one of the worst Mondays of the year" − the Monday after the Super Bowl.
Mondays Light are available for purchase at retailers nationwide for a limited time.
'Let's face it: the Monday after the Big Game takes 'Case of the Mondays' to a whole new level,' said Marcelo Pascoa, Vice President of Marketing at Coors Light, in a news release. 'So, we thought, why not turn that classic 'Case of the Mondays' into a literal case of Coors Light? Mondays Light is our way of reminding fans to Choose Chill on one of the worst Mondays of the year.'
Case of the Mondays merchandise, including shirts, matching sweat sets, hats and more, are also available for purchase at Shop.CoorsLight.com.
Coors Light unveils 2025 Super Bowl ad
Coors Light on Monday unveiled its 2025 Super Bowl ad, which aims to highlight just how tough a "case of the Mondays" can really be.
In the commercial, football fans are forced to face the "dreaded Monday after the national championship," except in this version, each fan is a sloth.
"Chaos ensues as the sluggish sloths struggle through everyday tasks: bagging groceries, sifting through emails, and even taking part in an epic, slow-motion chase," the company said in a news release.
A 30-second version of the commercial will air during the first half of Super Bowl 59 on Sunday, according to the brand.

Kanye West reportedly wants to attend Sean 'Diddy' Combs' criminal trial in New York to publicly support the embattled music mogul. The 47-year-old rapper, who now goes by Ye, is currently in New York City, though he was not present at this week's court proceedings, but a source has told CNN he has been communicating with 26-year-old Christian 'King' Combs, one of Combs' sons, about possibly joining the family in court once the defence begins presenting their case. An insider 'close to Combs' told the network: 'Ye has been in touch with Christian and would like to attend the trial with the family to show his support.' Combs' federal trial, which includes serious charges against the 55-year-old such as sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution, has so far featured appearances in court from several members of Combs' family, including his sons. Prosecutors are expected to conclude their case next week, paving the way for the defence to begin calling witnesses – a point at which Kanye may make an appearance. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all allegations of misconduct. More than 60 civil suits have also been filed against Combs alleging sexual assault or other abuses on top of his criminal trial. The source also confirmed to CNN Christian and Kanye are currently collaborating on new music. They previously worked together on a track released in March, which included audio of a jailhouse phone call between West and Combs. The track also featured vocals from Kanye's daughter with Kim Kardashian. Scandal-plagued Kanye, who has been widely criticised in recent years for repeated antisemitic remarks and inflammatory behaviour, is one of the few public figures to voice support for Combs. Ahead of his fellow rapper's trial, he posted messages on social media advocating for Combs' release. In February, West sparked further backlash after he promoted and sold T-shirts emblazoned with swastikas — an incident he publicised in a Super Bowl advertisement. Neither Combs nor Christian responded to CNN's request for comment.

ICE says Club World Cup attendees should carry proof of citizenship, sparking concerns
The Trump administration's anti-immigrant crackdown is casting a pall over the FIFA Club World Cup soccer tournament kicking off in Florida this weekend. The Club World Cup is an international tournament that features some of the world's top professional soccer clubs. The United States is hosting it this year, with the first game scheduled for Saturday in Miami Gardens. On Tuesday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection tweeted that it will be 'suited and booted and ready to provide security for the first round of games.' It later deleted the tweet without explanation. And ICE told NBC News 6 in Miami that all non-American citizens will need to carry proof of their legal status. When asked to clarify that comment, an ICE spokesperson told The Miami Herald in a statement: 'As is customary for an event of this magnitude with national security implications, ICE will be working alongside our Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice partners to help ensure the safety and security of the event.' As the Herald noted, CBP's presence at major sporting events is not uncommon. For instance, the agency promoted its participation during the Super Bowl in New Orleans earlier this year. But the remark from ICE about proving legal status and the now-deleted CBP tweet against the backdrop of Trump administration's anti-immigration crackdown have raised concerns among some soccer fans. It's as if the government is warning attendees to keep their 'freedom papers' on hand to avoid harassment from Trump's immigration officials, whose crackdown has already ensnared American citizens and produced disturbing images, like that of ICE agents chasing farmworkers through a California field. Some people in heavily-Latino, Trump-friendly Miami-Dade County may indeed choose to forgo this event — no matter their citizenship status — rather than potentially subject themselves to the administration's xenophobic scrutiny. The Wall Street Journal recently reported, citing people familiar with the matter, on efforts by Trump White House adviser Stephen Miller to have federal agents 'just go out there and arrest illegal aliens' at places like 7-Eleven and The Home Depot, where undocumented laborers have, at times, looked for work. 'Keeping President Trump's promise to deport illegal aliens is something the administration takes seriously,' a White House spokesperson told the Journal. The apparent plan to confirm attendees' legal status at a soccer match seems like a similar attempt by the Trump administration to cast a net in a place where immigrants are likely to be. And creating uncertainty around the event surely won't help with reports on slow-moving ticket sales for the tournament.
