The preview released Wednesday shows the cast facing off against vicious monsters known as Demogorgons. "Picking up in the fall of 1987, Stranger Things 5 finds the town scarred by the opening of the rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: to find and kill Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower)," an official synopsis reads. Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is hiding amid a military quarantine and Vecna is MIA. Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Cara Buono, Amybeth McNulty, Nell Fisher, Jack Connelly, Alex Breaux and Linda Hamilton star. The first suite of episodes arrives Nov. 26, while Volume 2 arrives on the streamer on Christmas Day. The series finale premieres Dec. 31 on New Year's Eve. File Photo by Rocco Spaziani/UPI | License Photo July 16 (UPI) -- Eddington star Joaquin Phoenix is apologizing for his "horrible" 2009 interview on The Late Show with David Letterman. The actor, 50, discussed the experience when he stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday. In 2009, Phoenix spoke to then-Late Show host David Letterman while in character for his film I'm Not Here, in which he portrays a version of himself who quits acting to become a hip-hop artist. His appearance and behavior during the interview led some to believe Phoenix was having a mental breakdown. "It was horrible. It was so uncomfortable. I regret it. I'll never do it again. I'm so sorry," the actor told Colbert with a smile. "It was strange because in some ways, it was a success, and it was also just one of the worst nights of my life," he added. Phoenix said the situation happened because he stayed in character for the duration of filming, which lasted longer than he anticipated. "We shot for over a year. I did not anticipate that. I thought I was going to be several weeks, maybe a couple months, and what happened was -- because it started out just in my house... and then we started going public," he said, adding, "I had to keep it going." Phoenix next stars in Eddington, which opens in theaters Friday. The film is directed by Ari Aster and also features Pedro Pascal, Emma Stone, Austin Butler and Luke Grimes.

Listen: Jonas Brothers release 'I Can't Lose,' song for Stand Up to Cancer

File Photo by Gary I Rothstein/UPI | License Photo July 16 (UPI) -- The Jonas Brothers are back with new music. The trio released the song "I Can't Lose" and an accompanying music video Wednesday. The track supports Stand Up to Cancer in partnership with Mastercard. "I Can't Lose" is described as "a song about love, strength and showing up for the people you love," and will appear on the band's upcoming album Greetings From Your Hometown, which is due Aug. 8. "'I Can't Lose' is a song we hope can carry different meanings for everyone who hears it and, for those who need it, a reminder of their own strength," the Jonas Brothers said in a statement. The music video shows the band performing for a group of fans on a rooftop. Greetings From Your Hometown will also include the previously released songs "Love Me to Heaven," "No Time to Talk" and "Slow Motion." The group consists of Joe Jonas, 35, Kevin Jonas, 37, and Nick Jonas, 32.
