Eberechi Eze appears emotional applauding fans amid Tottenham transfer links - as Liverpool target Marc Guehi appears to IGNORE Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner after draw with Chelsea
Eze has been the subject of strong transfer speculation surrounding a move to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, while Guehi has been linked to Premier League champions Liverpool.
The England internationals have been pivotal to Palace's success under Oliver Glasner in the past year, with both playing their hand in the club's FA Cup success last season and triumph in the FA Community Shield earlier this month.
However, after Palace's stalemate at Stamford Bridge, many have suggested that the pair have made their swansong for the south London club.
Eze appeared to shed tears while sitting on the bench after being withdrawn in the 84th minute. After full-time, he looked emotional as he lapped up the support from Palace's away fans.
However, Guehi's speculated farewell appeared to be more hostile.

The centre back seemingly ignored his manager as Glasner called him over after the whistle. Instead, Guehi marched straight towards the tunnel, leaving Glasner visibly confused.
Afterwards, Palace striker Jean-Phillipe Mateta also appeared perplexed, and looked to question Glasner about what happened, while turning his head Guehi's way.
Speaking after the game, Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards said of the frosty interaction: 'Yeah, I don't know if the manager asked him if he's all right.
'Maybe he's got a little knock or something, but it was the reaction after when he went to Mateta, and then Mateta was like, "Is something wrong?"
'Now we don't want to speculate, but Mark Guehi is ultra professional, so...'
Daniel Sturridge also weighed in. He said: 'I don't know. I don't know if it's performative. I don't know. Obviously, the cameras are there.
'Is it a: "Oh yeah, I'm going to put my arm around you", and that could have been what it was.
'Guehi, he's made a decision to go down the tunnel. They'll have a chat when he gets to the dressing room. And I'm sure over the course of the next few days, we might find out what exactly happened.'

Regarding Eze's emotional scenes, Sturridge said: 'He's on his own thanking them. It looks that way. I think the Palace fans love the player and admire everything he's done for the football club.
'For him, if this is the end, he's been a fantastic servant for the team. I don't know his routine, and that might be his routine that he goes and claps the fans after the game, but he looked emotional. He looked emotional.'
Roy Keane, meanwhile, looked onwards and upwards and welcomed the prospect of a big-money move for Eze.
The veteran pundit added: 'Palace must realise where they are on the food chain. I think it's a good sign.
'The bigger clubs are coming for your players, and you're getting £50, 60, 70million. That's what's going to happen. That's credit to the players in the club.

Chelsea respond as Man City join race to sign Enzo Maresca favourite
Manchester City are among a number of Premier League clubs reportedly interested in signing one of Enzo Maresca's favourite Chelsea stars. Chelsea have gone into the 2025/26 season as one of the favourites for the Premier League title following their Club World Cup triumph in the summer. But they haven't got off to the best of starts, being held to a goalless draw by Crystal Palace in their opening game on Sunday, with the Eagles arguably the better side at Stamford Bridge. While they have spent another £241million on new signings, Maresca is dealing with an injury crisis in defence, with Levi Colwill expected to miss the majority of the season due to a serious ACL injury, while Tosin Adarabioyo is also sidelined. Trevoh Chalobah and teenager Josh Acheampong started against Palace, with the latter impressively holding his own against Eberechi Eze and Jean-Philippe Mateta. Metro's new weekly football newsletter: In The Mixer. Exclusive analysis, FPL tips and transfer talk sent straight to your inbox every Friday – sign up, it's an open goal. This was only the 19-year-old's third Premier League start but the centre-back, who can also play right-back, is quickly becoming a fan-favourite and has even caught the eye of Chelsea's rivals. Acheampong was targeted by Real Madrid last year before he penned a five-year contract with the Blues, while Maresca confirmed over the summer that Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle had made enquiries over the defender. Now, according to The Guardian, Man City rate the player very highly but are yet to make a formal move, while Palace, Bournemouth and West Ham also keen on the England U20 star. It is said that Chelsea have already rejected a loan offer from Bournemouth and are expected to rebuff any other transfer approaches before deadline day on September 1. It is perhaps no surprise to see the Blues adopt this stance given how much Maresca has praised the youngster over the past year, even admitting in April that he had 'fallen in love' with the player. Speaking after the draw with Palace, the head coach said: 'Josh was very good. We showed our confidence in Josh last year as he played some games for us. 'Today he did very well, he dealt with Mateta very well, so overall he had a good game.' Acheampong made 13 senior appearances last season, helping Chelsea win the Club World Cup and Conference League. 87 passes 94% pass accuracy Most ground duels won (6) Most aerial won (5) Most tackles won (2) It is not known whether he would be interested in leaving Stamford Bridge but no doubt he will want guarantees over playing time, something that Chelsea should be able to offer given their defensive injuries. More Trending In addition to Colwill and Tosin, Benoit Badiashile is also sidelined and while Wesley Fofana was on the bench on Sunday, his fitness is always a concern. 'He [Tosin] had a physical problem, we don't know for how long,' Maresca added. 'Wes was on the bench, but he was just on the bench to be with us. The plan was not to get any minutes. And now, hopefully for the next one, we can start to use Wes for more minutes.' For more stories like this, check our sport page. The Welsh side have started the season poorly, with two league defeats. Securing Vardy would give them a massive boost and would also provide massive commercial benefits. Brighton footballers on path to winning MILLIONS after paying £40,000 to supplement their superstar horse into York race
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) BRIGHTON players including Premier League legend James Milner are a step closer to winning MILLIONS with their superstar horse Seagulls Eleven. Together they have stumped up £40,000 to supplement the horse into Saturday's Group 1 City Of York Stakes. 2 Brighton players are dreaming of winning millions with their superstar horse Seagulls Eleven - who has been supplemented into the City Of York Stakes on Saturday at a big cost of £40,000 Credit: Getty 2 Premier League legend James Milner is one of the past and present Brighton players involved in Seagulls Eleven Credit: Getty The mega-money race, worth £377,000 to the winner, is one of the biggest in Ebor week at the northern track with decent prize money all the way down to sixth. Seagulls Eleven, a three-year-old gelding trained by Hugo Palmer who cost around £50,000, has won two of his ten career races, bringing in just shy of £170,000. But his next few races could send his winnings into the stratosphere. Seagulls Eleven, who won more than £57,000 with his most recent victory, a Group 3 at Goodwood earlier this month, is one of 13 in the City Of York. He is likely to face Group 1 scorer Rosallion and 150-1 record winner Qirat, who returns after his unbelievable Sussex Stakes victory. Big names including John & Thady Gosden's former Lockinge winner Audience and Juddmonte's Cosmic Year are also in the line-up. But the races under a mile have been a lottery this season so anything could happen when they jump out this weekend. And while the cheque on offer at York is massive - far, far greater riches could lie in wait later this year. After his Goodwood win, Palmer said the £7.4million Golden Eagle in Australia in November was on the agenda. Interestingly, Brighton owner Tony Bloom won the race last year with Lake Forest and walked off an incredible £2.8m richer. Palmer said after Seagulls Eleven won at Goodwood that he would likely be supplemented for the City Of York. And the plan then would be, rather than race at Doncaster and Ascot later this year, to enter quarantine ahead of a trip Down Under. Speaking of how it all came about, Palmer, who trains football legend Michael Owen's horses, said: "It actually all started at Cheltenham. "There was a mare called Mrs Milner and Michael suggested to James Milner that he back it. "He did and it went from there. "They've bought a few horses and James is the ringleader. There are eleven players, who aren't all at Brighton anymore." Goalkeeper Jason Steele is another involved with Seagulls Eleven - and he can't wait to see what the future holds. He said: "It is up to Hugo and the team at Manor House Stables if he goes out to Australia, but the thought of him running there is amazing. "We have briefly spoken about it in our group chat and Hugo is going to find out more and whatever they want to do, I imagine the lads will support it. "We have a lot of ties with the Golden Eagle with our chairman Tony Bloom winning it last year with Lake Forest. "That would be a nice story to go over there and follow that up. 'To say we have owned a horse that has already run at the Curragh, and in America, and potentially Australia is unbelievable."
