‘Nagarjuna slapped me 15 times, I had marks on my face': Isha Koppikar recalls the star apologised to her afterwards

Film actors are required to act in front of the camera but sometimes, they believe that they have to go through the emotions that their character is going through to correctly portray the character's state of mind. Actor Isha Koppikar did something similar when she was working with Nagarjuna in their 1998 film Chandralekha. In a recent interview, Isha recalled that she asked Nagarjuna to slap her in a scene and to get it right, he slapped her 14 times. By the time they were done, Isha had slap marks on her face, and Nagarjuna apologised profusely. In a chat with Hindi Rush, Isha shared, 'I got slapped by Nagarjuna. I was a fully committed actor that I want to perform in a real, method way. So when he was slapping me, I couldn't feel it. This was my second film, so I told him 'Nag, you really slap me.' He said, 'Are you sure? No, I can't.' I said, 'I want that feeling. I am not feeling it right now.' So he slapped me, but softly.' Isha Koppikar said that at that time, she couldn't really express her anger in front of the camera and here, the camera couldn't catch her expression, so they kept asking her to do take after take. 'In an attempt to look angry, I got slapped 14 times,' she recalled. Another added a helpful direction: 'It's to the right of the straight trunk, about probably a foot up. Holding onto the right side of the middle straight trunk.' Several users praised the illusion for its effectiveness. 'Almost dead centre of the pic. Just sitting on the trunk in plain sight,' wrote one, marvelling at how cleverly the woodpecker blended in. Some were more cautious in their approach — 'I saw it but will not disclose, let others find it,' one user said, preserving the fun for others still trying to solve the puzzle. Viral Video Shows Delightful Art Of Making Japanese Mochi, Internet Is Impressed

The sweet, chewy mochi from Japan has captured hearts around the world. But have you ever wondered what goes into crafting these tender treats? A newly viral video has given the internet a glimpse into the traditional Japanese art of making mochi, showcasing the intense yet mesmerising process that yields these pillowy pastries. The footage, filmed at the Nakatanidou shop in Nara City, captures the incredibly fast and synchronised mochi-making process. The workers are seen pounding the dough using traditional mochitsuki techniques. They alternate between heavy beatings from two different wooden mallets. The softened dough is then filled with an array of sweet surprises, from classic red bean paste and white bean paste to modern twists like ice cream, custard, fresh strawberries, and even cookie dough. To finish, the mochi is delicately dusted with a layer of soybean powder, adding a subtle nutty flavour and silky texture to the treat. While there are no strict set times, demonstrations occur roughly every 30 minutes throughout the day. The side note read, 'Mochi pounding in Nara at Nakatanidou. There is a show every 30 minutes.' "They are really not worth the struggle of making them," remarked a user. Another recalled, "Mochi was good. The tourists were savages tho."
