The eight-part series draws its inspiration from the novel with the same title, written by the late journalist Rebecca Godfrey.

The series delves into the harrowing true story of Reena Virk, who was tragically killed in 1997 following a party. Seven teenage girls and one boy were implicated in Reena's murder.
Under the Bridge unfolds the narrative through the perspectives of Rebecca, played by Riley Keough, and police officer Cam Bentland, portrayed by Lily Gladstone.
