John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) discovers some new information about Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) in Emmerdale soon.
The two siblings have been involved in a tense back and forth ever since Robert returned to the village. For John, he wants to get rid of Robert because he's worried about him getting back with Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).
For Robert, he wants to see the back of John because he's utterly convinced he is bad news. Robert is absolutely right but whenever he expresses this theory, no one believes him due to them assuming he's just jealous of Aaron's relationship with his brother.
In upcoming episodes, Robert will get closer to the truth about John when he learns about all the times he's saved the lives of villagers.
It leaves him terribly suspicious, and then spies an opportunity to get more information on his brother when he leaves his phone unattended.
When Robert hands the device back, John thinks the entire interaction is odd. He voices his concerns to Chas (Lucy Pargeter), and then word about Robert's weird behaviour gets back to Vic (Isabel Hodgins), who thinks he needs some help. More Trending
Robert refuses, but John then decides he can get Liam (Jonny McPherson) to talk to him instead.

Just before Liam heads to see Robert, John plants a listening device in the house. He overhears something important and in this new video, John approaches Ross Barton (Michael Parr) to tell him about it.
Let's not forget that Ross isn't a fan of Robert after figuring out that he stole the weed from a barn at Butlers.

EastEnders' Ross takes action to cover up Joel's crimes as he makes discovery

EastEnders' Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) takes shocking action to cover up his twisted son Joel Marshall's (Max Murray) latest crimes next week after he makes a shocking discovery. Since arriving in Walford with Ross and his dad's partner Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) earlier this year, Joel has been at the centre of a dark incel plot. After it was revealed he had previously upskirted one of his classmates back in Australia, Joel recorded himself and Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) having sex without her consent. Since then, the teenager has sexually harassed a passenger on the tube and has also been seen watching videos from a misogynistic influencer online. In scenes to air on the BBC soap next week, Joel's behaviour continues to worsen after Ross has to tell him the news that his mum is getting remarried. Reeling from the update, Joel slips out and heads to The Vic to hang out with his friend Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall), but it's not long before Joel leads him astray and the pair steal drinks from the barrel store. Ross and Vicki, and Kat and Alfie Moon (Jessie Wallace and Shane Richie) are furious when they find the pair, but Joel lashes out with a derogatory outburst at Kat, leaving the parents aghast. Ross later makes another attempt to get through to Joel about his behaviour, and they bond when Joel shares a video from the influencer that he's been following, which Ross wrongly perceives as innocent. Shortly afterwards, however, Ross makes a worrying discovery on Joel's laptop and destroys it. What has Ross uncovered? Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Vicki is later stunned to discover the real reason why Ross broke the laptop and orders her partner to be firm with Joel – despite Vicki herself having covered for him by bribing the woman he assaulted on the tube into not going to the police. More Trending While Ross is heartened after confiding in Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) about his parenting woes, his hopefulness is short-lived when Joel shows his true colours once again, this time in front of punters at The Vic. Joel goes there to apologise to Kat about his previous outburst, but when he overhears Vicki chatting with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) about parenting and men, he is riled – and his anger sparks some worrying consequences… View More » EastEnders airs these scenes from Monday 4 August at 7.30pm on BBC One or stream first from 6am on iPlayer. Coronation Street Becky Swain's real killer 'solved' as villain's return 'sealed'

Coronation Street fans think a former villain will be revealed as the person who orchestrated the death of Lisa Swain's wife Becky Swain, and DI Costello could be involved Becky Swain's real killer on Coronation Street may have been rumbled according to fans of the ITV soap. ‌ This week's episodes have left them convinced that an existing character is involved in Becky's death and a possible cover-up. Not only that, but fans think a past villain may return and be revealed as the reason Becky is dead. ‌ It comes as Lisa Swain continued to dig into her late wife's demise in recent scenes, after suggestion she may have been a corrupt officer. DI Costello downplayed this as he called out Lisa for sneaking onto his computer to access Becky's files. ‌ Costello's reaction, the comments from Logan Radcliffe to Lisa's partner Carla Connor and a scene with Lisa's therapist Floyd have now left fans certain a cover-up is confirmed. Not only that, but they think they have figured out how everything ties together. With Costello appearing to know more than he's letting on, fans think he is harbouring the true events that led to Becky's demise, or at least what happened to her. Logan knows something too, with it revealed earlier this year that he and his brother Matty Radcliffe were driving the car that hit and killed her. ‌ Then there's Floyd's weird comment to a mystery person on the phone about a "breakthrough" with Lisa during a session, moments after she confessed her fears Becky was corrupt. Fans are now wondering if Floyd is also involved. But it's a former villain that some fans are convinced knows something, and could even be Becky's killer - or the person who made it happen. Costello could also be tied in according to the theory, and it could see said villain return to the soap. ‌ Logan and Matty were revealed to be working for former baddie Harvey Gaskell months ago. He targeted David Platt via the brothers, and now fans are wondering if he was up to no good with either Becky involved, or she figured out what was going on. Fans have wondered if Costello is corrupt and may have been in cahoots with Harvey, and either he or Harvey had the Radcliffe brothers silence Becky - either because she was about to expose them or because she was involved. Taking to social media, fans theorised Harvey would soon be revealed to be the killer, and this is the "mutual friend" who orchestrated an attack, it seems, on Logan in prison on Friday. Becky was 'caught out', an investigation opened and Harvey, seeing her as a liability gets the Radcliffe's to kill her and Costello to cover it up." Another fan said: "Now I've a feeling that either the counsellor guy or Costello are involved in someway in Becky's death." A third fan said: "Costello is definitely part of this whole thing. 'He's been worried about me since Becky died'. He f***ing killed her."

Strictly star Wynne Evans confirms split from fiancée only weeks after proposal

Former Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans has confirmed that he has split from fiancée Liz Brookes – only weeks after popping the question. The Welsh opera singer, 53, began dating events manager Liz, 50, last year, and proposed while on holiday in Morocco this June. Sharing a snap of himself popping the question to a stunned-looking Liz, Wynne announced via Instagram: 'Big news… I got engaged! 💍' Fast-forward a few weeks, and he and Liz have now apparently broken up. Taking to Facebook Live on Saturday morning, he described himself as more 'level-headed' than he'd been in years after 'having been in a bad place or a relationship that's not healthy for me.' Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. Sign up to our newsletter and then select your show in the link we'll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you. 'It's now calm,' he said, seemingly confirming the end of the relationship. Wynne's split from Liz was confirmed by a source for The Daily Mail, who said: 'Wynne and Liz broke off their engagement a few weeks ago.' The publication's source credits the 'pressure' of the new restaurant he has decided to open in his hometown of Carmarthen. He will also be starting his own radio show, set inside the restaurant. The Mail's source continued: 'The pressure of his new business ventures took its toll and they had a big fallout. Initially, there was a belief they would get back together when the ill-feeling died down, as they had split before and managed to patch things up. 'But with Wynne actively trying to date again and going public describing the relationship as 'not healthy', it's safe to say they've split for good this time.' Wynne and Liz first met when he performed at a corporate function for the firm where she worked. She was an audience regular at Strictly, where she watched him perform and cheered him on. They began dating after his divorce from his wife of 17 years, Tanwen Evans, with whom he shared daughter Ismay and son Taliesin. Liz stuck by the Go Compare frontman throughout the scandal which followed his Strictly appearance and live show controversy. They were initially reported to have split after he was caught joking about a 'spit roast' or 'threesome' with Strictly Live presenter and professional dancer Janette Manrana, 41. A source told The Sun that Liz had been 'humiliated by what happened when he was on Strictly'. This insider continued: 'She always knew he was a bit old school, and actually liked the fact he seemed rough round the edges. She just assumed it was all part of his charm.' They added: 'It's not clear exactly when they split, but friends say that when his latest lewd gaffe was revealed at the Strictly Live Tour launch she was relieved they were no longer together.' However, another source later told The Mirror that Liz was 'rallying around' Wynne, leaving him 'appreciative of all the love and support he is getting.' He apologised soon after being dumped from the Strictly Live tour, describing himself as 'deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate action caused.' During an appearance on ITV's This Morning, he described himself at his 'lowest ebb' over the scandal – which also included accusations of 'inappropriately touching' professional dance partner Katya Jones. Wynne and Katya addressed the furore as a 'silly joke' gone wrong, but Wynne was beset with more controversy, first after the 'spit roast' incident, and then again after mucking around with a sex toy in a video with EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick. 'I wanted to end my life. I would have if I hadn't been surrounded by people,' he said to hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard. 'I remember saying to my girlfriend, 'I have to kill myself. I have to because this is what they want.' 'You're full of these thoughts the entire time and it takes over your life.' In June, Wynne proposed to Liz while on holiday in Morocco. Announcing the news, he shared: 'This weekend in Morocco, somewhere between the couscous, the camels, and me limping around the souks like a man with no spatial awareness, I proposed to Liz — and she said yes! (No take-backs, I've checked.) 'She's clever, she's kind, she's got excellent taste in men. Absolutely no idea how I pulled that off, but here we are! Feeling very lucky, very happy, and just a tiny bit smug.' The post also included a photo of their hands holding glasses of champagne, with Liz wielding her engagement ring. A source told The Sun: 'It has been a tumultuous six months for Wynne, but Liz has been his absolute rock throughout. More Trending 'Finally, some wonderful news for Wynne and his inner circle to celibate and everyone is chuffed for them both. 'He secretly bought an engagement ring and squirrelled it away for their holiday and then popped the question over champagne.' They added: 'Liz has been incredible over the past few months, supporting him through thick and thin, and had his back throughout, but obviously Wynne is telling everyone she's a lucky girl!' has reached out to Wynne Evans' representative for comment.
