My LGBTQ fans are in a league of their own, says Rita Ora
The 34-year-old pop star has developed a big fan following among the LGBTQ community over the years, and Rita admits that the affection is mutual.
The singer - who toured with Kylie Minogue earlier this year - told People: "They're just in a league of their own.
"There is so much to learn from the years and history of the constant struggle of being authentically themselves. There's so much to it."
Rita - who is married to Hollywood director Taika Waititi - believes her LGBTQ fans really know how to "celebrate individuality".
The singer said: "They're amazing and they know just how to have a good time, but they celebrate individuality, creativity.
"The conversations they have amongst each other is just full of love. But underneath it all there's always a sense of emotion and vulnerability, and that, for me, wins every time. And the makeup slaps! It's like, nobody knows how to do makeup better than the queens, you know what I mean? It's just the way it is."
Meanwhile, Rita recently confessed that she wants to "celebrate [her] sexuality" through her new music.
The singer released her latest single, Heat, last month, and Rita admitted that it's a taste of things to come from her.
The Hot Right Now hitmaker told People: "The whole theme of this record is really about being instant [and] really direct with my messaging and stripping everything back behind me, production wise."
Heat was co-written by Troye Sivan, and Rita feels she has "a lot in common" with the 30-year-old music star.
The pop singer also feels that her new music is really reflective of her current mindset.
Rita - who released her debut album, Ora, back in 2012 - said: "I love his sexuality and the celebration he has with that.
"I was really inspired for me and my womanhood to really kind of celebrate my sexuality, my sexiness and get back into my body, you know? And this really just embodied that."

Hulk Hogan didn't meet his grandchildren prior to his death
Hulk Hogan never met his grandchildren before his death. The wrestling legend passed away aged 71 last month after suffering a heart attack at his home in Florida and his son-in-law Steven Oleksy has revealed that Hulk showed "no interest" in meeting his estranged daughter Brooke's twins Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene when approached following their births in January. Former NHL player Oleksy told People: "I sent text messages once again to kind of gauge where he was at, but there was no interest." Oleksy explained how he and Brooke moved from Michigan to Florida to be closer to Hulk - whose real name was Terry Bollea - as he "was getting older" and suffering with his health. He said: "She was there for every surgery leading up to the last two years. She would fly down on her own dime, take care of her dad, and it just made a lot of sense. "No one understood his body, procedures, medications and everything else more than my wife." Oleksy explained that the family will remain in Florida following the WWE icon's passing as the state has grown to feel like "home" for them. The ex-ice hockey star said: "We've built a beautiful life here together." Brooke, 37, posted a lengthy tribute to her father on Instagram earlier this week and used her post to "clear a few things up" regarding the pair's estrangement. The realty star wrote: "It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand. My father was confiding in me about issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business. I offered to be a life raft in whatever capacity he needed. I told him he had my support. I begged him to rest, to take care of himself." Brooke - Hulk's eldest child from his marriage to first wife Linda Hogan - added: "We had been through almost 25 surgeries together, and then all of a sudden he didn't want me at surgeries…everything started getting covered in a thick veil. It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn't get through. (sic)" She explained how the pair's relationship ultimately collapsed due to a series of "respectful disagreements". Brooke said: "He was telling me these things, being so vulnerable with me and heard my pleas, then suddenly something shifted, and he made a choice to walk the path that clearly tore at his spirit. I felt a disconnect. What followed were respectful disagreements that took an emotional toll on me."

Jason Momoa believes it's his 'destiny' to tell the story of Hawaii
Jason Momoa believes it's his "destiny" to tell the story of Hawaii. The Aquaman star explores his Hawaiian heritage in new Apple TV+ series Chief of War - which tells the story of the unification of the islands at the turn of the 18th century - and he is convinced the stars have aligned to bring him to a place in his career where he could show the lives of his ancestors onscreen. He told PEOPLE: "I feel like this whole thing has chosen me in a way, like this is my destiny," he says. "I have no idea how I got to all this, but we're here, and I'm very grateful. I'm living my dream doing what I love to do. To play my ancestors is such a responsibility. It's scary and exciting." Jason added: "My dad is a coach at an outrigger canoe club, which is where I learned how to surf. "Just this morning, the sand pulled back and revealed massive petroglyphs [ancient carvings] right in the place where I grew up. It's kind of insane. I've never experienced that before." The actor also got the chance to write and direct while working on the show and he has insisted he's finally get the chance to show a different side to himself. He told the Metro newspaper: "It's my heart and soul. This has been in me my whole life. I'm ready. Put it on me. " I feel like I've been mismanaged and people don't really know who I am, since the beginning, so now I finally get a chance to [show] 'No, I can direct and write'." Jason went on to applaud bosses at Apple for taking a chance on a show about Hawaii's history, adding: "It's a bold thing to do. "I think Apple had a lot of trust in us, because there's nothing to prove it against. No one's ever heard the language. There's a lot of actors that have never been seen before. It's a lot ... "There's a lot of change and a lot to bring back of a culture that was … Our language is banned from us and we're getting it back. A lot of our art … We're part of America and I don't think anyone really knows anything about us. "[We] really have to celebrate Apple for just taking on something that's this big, and putting the trust in me ... "

Dwayne ‘The Rock' Johnson reveals dramatic new look thanks to a special makeover from his daughters
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has debuted a dramatic new look following a special makeover. On Tuesday, the pro-wrestler turned actor shared a video on Instagram of his girls Jasmine, 9, and Tiana, 7, giving him the ultimate beauty treatment. In the sweet behind-the-scenes footage, the 53-year-old father — who is married to singer/songwriter Lauren Hashian — sits patiently while his daughters plaster his face with blush, eyeshadow and lip gloss. The footage is set to Simon & Garfunkel's song, The Sound of Silence, and reveals his daughters working their magic. 'I've learned over time that you look back on life's decisions and say ... That was a good idea. That was a great idea. Or… What the %#$@ was I thinking??' Johnson captioned the hilarious footage. 'And it's proving to be a good thing that I have a very large head with A LOT of 'canvas' to use for these little chickens' enjoyment and artistic make-over endeavors.'Our little ones are only little once, so bring it on ladies — daddy is fearless.' As well as his youngest two girls, Johnson has a third daughter, Simone, 23, from his previous marriage. While the Hollywood actor often plays masculine, action-hero characters on screen, Johnson isn't afraid to show off his softer side. The Fast and the Furious star often shares pictures of him spending time with his family and is proud to hold the title of 'ultimate girl-dad'. Whether it's dance parties in the kitchen, heartfelt birthday tributes or red carpet cuddles, Johnson never shies away from expressing his deep devotion to his family. 'You can be wired, as a lot of fathers are, to fix things,' Johnson told PEOPLE. 'Just having an expanded capacity to listen and be more tender and gentle really gave me that ability to solve whatever the issue is, but with them compared to for them.' At home, Johnson reveals his youngest two 'are tornadoes and very passionate about how they feel'. 'Lauren and I like raising them in an environment and a culture where there are no limits to life,' Johnson said. 'You can do anything you want, and you can achieve anything you want. However, I need you to be flexible with how we get there.'
