Kylie Jenner talks being 'lonely' and 'crying' over hairstylist Jesus Guerrero three months after his death
Kylie Jenner bared her soul this weekend about being 'lonely' and 'crying' over her hairstylist Jesus Guerrero, three months after his death aged 34.
Jesus, whose celebrity clientele included Kylie and Jennifer Lopez, died at a hospital in Los Angeles shortly after working with Lopez in Dubai.
His devastated sister Gris announced on February 22 that she had lost her brother 'very suddenly and unexpectedly' that day.
At the start of this month, while his family were still waiting for autopsy results to come back, Gris shared he was diagnosed with gastritis in the months before he died.
Now Kylie has shared her reflections on how she is coping with her grief - alongside a heartrending throwback video of her and Jesus in a hotel room last autumn.
The video showed a curtain that looked as though it had been braided, as Kylie joked: 'Did you just do the curtain's hair?' and Jesus said: 'Yeah, I got bored.'
The post was prompted by a recent episode of Kylie's Hulu series The Kardashians, in which her half-sister Khloe Kardashian told her she 'looked cute' at the CFDA Fashion Awards last October, and Kylie said: 'B****, I looked major.'
As the moment went viral, Kylie looked back and found a clip of her hairstyling session with Jesus for the glamorous event.
She dated the video October 28, 2024 and wrote: 'Found this video from that day. I thought I could get through today without crying, but the ache of missing you hit all over again. Grief isn't getting easier it's just getting lonelier.'
Kylie heartbreakingly continued: 'I miss you so much. Why aren't you here. every first without you hurts sm,' and concluded by tagging his Instagram.
The post comes more than three weeks after Gris shed light on her brother's medical history in the year leading up to his death.
'He was diagnosed with gastritis months back, but it was never anything to get that bad. So we don't know if that was a part of it,' she told Us Weekly.
Gastritis, an inflammation of the stomach lining, can be the result of severe stress, medications, alcohol, diet, smoking, other illnesses, or even the knock-on effects of burns or major operations, among many potential factors.
Symptoms can include nausea and vomiting, pain or a burning feeling in the stomach, abdominal bleeding or appetite loss, according to Johns Hopkins.
Gris shared that it 'seems to be the case' that her brother lost 20lbs leading up to his death, based on the 'paperwork' she has been able to read.
'We think it could have been something with his stomach,' she said, noting that his family knew 'that he couldn't eat without it being painful' in his final days.
Guerrero was buried in his native Houston, Texas on Sunday over a month after his death, with both Jenner and Lopez in attendance, TMZ reports.
Gris had previously confirmed in a GoFundMe update on February 25 that the 27-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder offered to cover his 'funeral expenses and offering up all her help and support.'
'She has told us anything we need. Jesus was family to her, and she was family to him,' Gris told Us Weekly the same day.
'She has kept an open line. Anything we need, any questions we have, she has been there for us. She wants his memory to be honored and wants to do as much as she can so he gets the farewell he deserves.'
As for the $96K the family raised from an $80K goal, Guerrero said the GoFundMe money 'will go toward the costs associated with securing his belongings home as well as other unexpected expenses to settle his assets.'
Kylie called Jesus 'a true artist' whom she 'loved so much' in her tribute, gushing: 'Jesus was more than my friend - he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support. I don't know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter.'
Gris also confirmed that the 55-year-old pop diva reached out and 'talked us through everything that she could, along with others that were there. I am very grateful for everything she did [for him], to go to the doctor and not to work and to get rest' during their recent work trip to Dubai.
'Brokenhearted' Jennifer wrote in her tribute that Guerrero 'never demanded the spotlight' because he never needed to make a sound to be recognized as 'your heart and your talent did that as effortlessly as [your] artistry did.'
'I know wherever you are there is beauty and light. And the beauty and light you left here will live on forever. Rest in peace, sweet angel,' Lopez wrote.
Guerrero's client Katy Perry is currently hard at work rehearsing for her 83-date The Lifetimes Tour, kicking off April 23, and she was unable to attend his funeral.
TMZ reported that the 40-year-old pop star 'has been in touch with his family.'
Katy wrote in her tribute that she knew Jesus was 'ok' because he's 'in the light that you shined so brightly back here on Earth' giving 'the other Jesus a choppy feather or an octopus cut up there.'
'It's just us that are left with a dimmer world without you,' Perry wrote.
'I found a quote that sums up the feelings I've had this past week that you've been gone: "Grief, I've learned, is really just love. It's all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go."'
Jesus had reportedly shed 20lbs and was complaining of chills and hot flashes leading up to his unexpected death.
'We have been able to track every one of his steps, but we don't know what got him sick or what was [the] sickness,' Gris told Us.
'It all happened suddenly and no one knows why. [He was in the hospital at the time of his passing] and that's part of why there are so many unanswered questions because nothing they had done was able to prevent this from happening.'
Guerrero also handled the tresses of celebs like Jessica Alba, Casandra 'Cassie' Fine, Rosalía, Demi Moore, Charli xcx, Camila Cabello, Dua Lipa, LISA, Jessica Alba, and Shay Mitchell.

One pleased customer shared: "I'm 5'5" and a size 14 and I bought the 14R. "I absolutely love this dress, the print is joyous and the style is very flattering." A shopper expressed her delight with the dress, stating: "Unlike some Boden dresses it's not too low at the front and joy of joys the arm hole is not too big and gives decent coverage for those of us with bits we'd like to disguise. "The regular length is just above my ankles. Would love this in a leopard print!". Another admirer added: "Love this dress! I'm 5'3" and bought 14 petite: it's a perfect fit. "Bought for the South of France and can't wait to wear it! Do not hesitate in purchasing this dress. Highly recommend!" However, one customer had a slight issue, noting: "This is a really pretty, simple dress. It fit true to size. I'm 5'6", 130lbs. I liked the length and the material. "The waist is a bit high, but I find that with most Boden dresses". For those who admire Emily's fashion sense, we've also tracked down her favourite handbag. The exact model is the Deliberate Woven Shoulder Bag in Chocolate, retailing at £129. Article continues below While it does come with a heftier price tag of over £100, given its resemblance to the luxurious Bottega Veneta's woven handbags that sell for well above £1k, we reckon it's quite a bargain.

Amy Childs admits struggles as she shares real reason behind weight loss
EXCLUSIVE: Amy Childs has been open about her weight loss journey in recent months, and now the reality star has revealed the real reason behind her staggering transformation Amy Childs is no stranger to comments about her weight loss, since the mum of four lost a staggering amount of weight in the last few months. Now, Amy is opening up about how she lost her weight after she was forced to cancel her wedding to fiance Billy Delbosq. The Only Way Is Essex star Amy, 34, announced her engagement to Billy in 2023 – weeks after the couple welcomed twins together. The couple then postponed their nuptials in October of the same year. She recently wowed fans with her latest Instagram offering as they declared she "looks like a different person". The reality star has made no secret of the fact that she has been on a gruelling weight loss journey in recent months, and it's clear that her hard work is paying off. Speaking exclusively to OK!, Amy addressed the recent speculation about her weight loss and the vicious trolling she's suffered as a result of it. 'People don't know what is going on behind closed doors,' Amy says emotionally. 'I'm going through so much at the minute that the weight has fallen off me. I worry about my mum constantly. She's very emotional – she thinks she's going to have another heart attack.' 'People think I'm not eating, but I do eat. To be honest, I do feel better when I'm a bit heavier than I am at the moment. There's so much going on at the minute – it's the result of pure stress. We're also having renovations done in the midst of parenting four kids.' 'But I'm strong, I've been in this industry for 15 years. I've had lots of people concerned about me, which I completely understand, but yes, people can be so quick to judge. 'It's so unfair – it shouldn't matter what size people are. Imagine if I was really happy and healthy this way? I've been open about losing too much, but I'm working towards putting some back on now.' Amy is also keen to address rumours that she has been using weight-loss injections. 'I just want to be clear that, as I've said before, I'm not using weight-loss injections. I did try the jab, but just once about 18 months ago. 'It made me so, so ill. I injected myself and literally a few hours later I threw up three, four times. I've never had sickness like it. The nausea stayed with me for three days. And it scared me so I stopped immediately. It doesn't agree with everybody and it obviously didn't agree with me at all.' Amy explains that she had gone to a private doctor with the hope of losing some weight. She had her weight and blood pressure checked during a 30-minute consultation before being prescribed the injections, which started at the lowest dose. 'Bill was like, 'I don't know if you really need to do it,' but he'd proposed to me and I felt like I wanted to look amazing for my wedding day and wanted to lose some baby weight after having the twins – although I do think it's important that women shouldn't feel under pressure to lose weight after having a baby. But after feeling ill I stopped straight away, so it's not the reason for my weight loss.' The reality TV star, famed for her stint on The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE), has graced our screens for 15 years. Despite regularly dazzling fans with her glamour on the telly, Amy openly confessed that she had lost touch with loving her figure and has suffered with self-confidence issues. Now a proud mum-of-four, Amy's journey through the last decade-and-a-half has been significant, and recently she had been refreshingly honest about her struggle with body image. Acknowledging her tendency to consume "complete rubbish", she noticed distinct changes in her physique. Amy then began a training and healthy eating routine in order to shape up naturally. She started working with Freya from Potentia, an online weight-loss coach based in Dubai. 'I decided, 'Right, I've got to do it the proper way now.' Freya gave me amazing recipe plans and workouts to follow, which I stuck to religiously. She got me in the gym four times a week, eating really clean. I had to be very boring for a good six months, but I felt amazing. It's only more recently that I've been losing weight due to stress that it doesn't feel healthy.' Amy, who waved goodbye to The Only Way Is Essex after two years on the show, made an epic return in 2020 and, since then, she has been delighting viewers with her on-screen charm.
