Katie Price ‘taking legal advice after ex Alex Reid's threatens to expose her

Metro13 hours ago
Katie Price has 'taken legal advice and is biding her time' after her ex-husband Alex Reid sensationally declared he was 'going to expose the truth' about her.
Earlier this week former cage fighter Alex, 50, announced he was going up against the former glamour model, 47, who he was married to for a year before they split in 2011.
In the dramatic video posted online, Alex explained: 'Over the years, you've seen countless stories by Katie Price directed at me, Peter Andre, Kieran Hayler, and others.
'I am spearheading a campaign to expose the truth. This isn't about gossip, it's about evidence. It isn't about rumour, it's about reality.
'After years of silence, the time has finally come to reveal all. This is bigger than one person. It's about honesty, accountability, and supporting those that have been silenced. The time for speculation is over. The truth will now be seen and heard.'
He also shared a video of Katie counting wads of cash, which comes after she was declared bankrupt twice in the past six years.

A few days on, a source close to Katie has explained how she's reportedly responded to her ex's bold declaration against her.
'We're all really surprised by how calm she has been, as Alex's latest stunt would send most people into a very dark place,' they told The Sun.
'This isn't the first time Kate's ex-husbands and partners have ganged up on her, but the last time it happened, it drove her over the edge, and we were all seriously worried about her. This time around though, she is in a completely different place.'
Specifically addressing Alex's actions, the friend said: 'Her feeling is, if Alex Reid wants to create a drama to get himself some attention, then good for him. She was blindsided by Alex dropping the clip, she had no idea it was coming, but she is refusing to stoop to his level by coming out all guns blazing as she has in the past. That's what the old Katie would have done, but this time around Katie is in no rush to publicly comment on this latest attempt to bring her down.'
Instead, she is 'doing the sensible thing, she has taken legal advice and is biding her time'.
The friend also said that Katie was 'aware' Alex had threatened to speak about her more soon, but that she was 'taking it in her stride' and would 'have her say at some point'.
Katie and Alex had a whirlwind romance, marrying in Las Vegas in February 2010, just seven months after they began dating. But by January 2011 Katie announced they were divorcing and called their union a 'mistake'.
She went on to say: 'Alex changed from the man I fell in love with, and some of his behaviour became difficult for me to understand and caused issues. Our difficulties were also not helped by Alex becoming more fascinated by life in the media eye.'

August 2025- Alex announces he is 'spearheading a campaign' against his ex
In the years since the former couple have made pointed digs at each other publicly countless times.
Alex has labelled Katie a 'spiteful bully' and accused her of bullying him 'for years'.
He also sued her in 2019 and she was then ordered by a court to pay him £25,000 after misusing private information about his sex life.
She also had to pay him £150,000 in legal costs after allegedly sharing sex tape footage of him with a TV studio audience. More Trending
The video Alex shared of Katie counting money is believed to have been filmed in 2020. She was declared bankrupt in 2019 and again last year after an unpaid tax bill but has since been discharged from both.
There's no suggestion Katie did not declare this money, but in the video, she brags about how much cash she's counting and explains she's 'sorting it out' – whilst also taking a brutal dig at ex-husband Peter Andre's children with his current wife Emily, calling them 'irrelevant'.
Despite this, her friend claimed that Katie 'believes the men in her life blame her for everything'.

Inside Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi's marriage as they announce adoption

Millie Bobby Brown shocked fans with the announcement that she and husband Jake Bongiovi have adopted a baby girl. The Stranger Things star, 21, shared the news in a joint post on social media with her husband Jake, 23. 'This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,' she began. 'We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.' She concluded: 'And then there were 3. Love Millie and Jake Bongiovi.' Millie and Jake – the son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi – tied the knot last May, a year after their engagement. Now, as they start their family, here's everything we know about the young couple's whirlwind relationship. The pair first sparked romance rumors in June 2021 when Bongiovi posted a photo of the two on Instagram, writing, 'bff <3.' They were spotted walking around New York City hand-in-hand later that month before making things Instagram official in November with a blurry photo taken on the London Eye. After that, they were pretty inseparable and Jake has even joined Millie at several high-profile red carpet events, including the Baftas, Stranger Things season 4 launch party, and the premiere of Enola Holmes 2 in October. During a November 2022 interview with WIRED, the actress shared how she met her man. 'We met on Instagram,' she said. 'And we were friends for a bit, and then, what can I say?' The pair got engaged in April 2023 with Millie announcing the news by posting a photo on Instagram captioned with lyrics from Taylor Swift's Lover, writing, 'I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all 🤍.' In August 2023, Brown shared the details of the proposal with The Sunday Times, including that he proposed with one of her mother's rings: 'I've always loved that ring, it's always stuck out to me, so she gave it to Jake. They were in cahoots about the whole proposal,' she said. 'I love that I can always keep a piece of my mum with me.' The pair then privately tied the knot in 2024 at a ceremony that was reportedly a small affair with only friends and family in attendance. 'Millie and Jake quietly said their vows in America last weekend,' a source close to the couple told The Sun. 'They are planning a bigger ceremony in the US later this year but now they have legally married and done all the paperwork.' After the pair's marriage was rumoured, Jon Bon Jovi was asked about the suspected nuptials and how the happy couple is doing. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video He said: 'They're great, they're absolutely fantastic. 'It was a very small family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be. Yeah, it's true.' When the engagement was first announced, Millie shared with WWD: 'I think probably drawing the curtains, just because there are only so many moments in life that you get only once. 'And to have everyone's opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me. So I feel it's important to keep those things, those small precious moments in life, really close to your chest.' Millie has been very open about her desire to be a mother in the past. More Trending During a March 2025 appearance on the Smartless podcast, Millie shared that although she is 'really young,' starting a family is 'definitely in [her] future.' 'My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it's been my thing since before I met Jake,' she said. 'Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.' She added, 'Jake knows how important it is to me and, of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it's so important to start a family for me, personally.' Moment gang try to escape police after landing cocaine boats on Cornish beach

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video A gangster who claimed he could smuggle a tonne of cocaine with 'zero f***ing risk' was arrested after police chased his gang over the sea for 28 miles. The cocaine cowboys were spotted on the horizon by Border Force loading packages from a bigger boat. The drug syndicate tried to outrun them in a high-speed boat chase while dumping huge packages of Class A drugs worth millions as they sped along the Cornish coast for an hour. With nowhere left to sail and cornered by Border Force the Narco pirates stranded their speedboats on Gwynver Beach, Penzance on September 13, 2024. The dramatic landing was filmed by confused sunbathers and dogwalkers as the group try to split up and disperse with police on their tail. The pirates were quickly detained by Border Force officers who chased them on foot and arrested them. Officers recovered six large bales containing 230kg of high-purity cocaine after crew members desperately threw packages overboard. All seven men initially denied their crimes. Audio messages later revealed Alex Fowlie bragging he could move 'one tonne' and that there was 'zero f*cking risk'. Tabora Baca even claimed to be a tourist who had accepted an invitation from two strangers to go fishing. But officers recovered messages from his phone in which he discussed the group's plans and shared a photo of the cocaine onboard the RHIB. NCA Senior Investigating Officer, Barry Vinall, said: 'These men didn't care about the misery cocaine causes, they just wanted to make a profit. 'Cocaine is one of the most harmful illegal drugs in the UK, linked to thousands of deaths and fuelling violent crime that wrecks communities and lives. 'Working together, Border Force stopped cocaine worth millions from making it onto UK streets and the National Crime Agency ensured that the group behind its importation faced justice.' Duncan Capps, senior director of Border Force Maritime, added: 'It is the job of Border Force to protect our border and keep communities safe. Our officers were fantastic and displayed incredible skill during the 28-mile pursuit, despite the suspects' attempts to get rid of evidence. 'Border Force will continue to work alongside the NCA to prevent dangerous drugs reaching our streets and will ensure criminals caught smuggling face the full force of the law.' Peter Williams and Bobbie Pearce were handed hefty sentences at Truro Crown Court today (Thursday, August 21) — 16 years and nine months and 15 years and four months respectively. It follows the earlier jailing of four of their accomplices for more than 82 years combined. Scott Johnston, 38, of Havant, and Edwin Yahir Tabora Baca, 33, of Barcelona, Spain, were sentenced to 24 years and 17 years seven months respectively. Michael May, 47, of Brentwood, and Terry Willis, 44, of Chelmsford, helped organise the £18.4m haul and received 19 years and 21 years eight months. Williams, 43, of Havant, and Pearce, 29, of Brentwood, faced justice today. The final gang member, Alex Fowlie, 35, of Chichester, will be sentenced on September 5. We visited Cadbury World – it's perfect for the whole family and you can get two FREE tickets with SunSuperdays

THERE'S only one way to start a trip to Cadbury World – with handfuls of delicious chocolate. Arriving at the Birmingham attraction with my husband Will and kids Eva, 11, and Alex, nine, we are greeted by staff dishing out bars of Dairy Milk. 2 2 We then begin a trail following the history of chocolate from the Aztec rainforest to the beginnings of Cadbury, brought to life with 3D sets, interactive screens and mini theatre shows. Shaking seats recreating the experience of cocoa beans in the Making Chocolate Story prompt delighted shrieks. Getting up close and personal with the chocolate is a highlight. The kids are mesmerised as we are shown how to temper it in its melted state, and watch chocolatiers at work. We nibble our choice of toppings — the kids go for toffee chunks and Oreo pieces, while I panic and mix marshmallows with jelly babies. I think I blew my Willy Wonka moment. We write our names using melted chocolate in the delicious-smelling Have A Go zone and give tempering a try ourselves. Bliss. Displays of vintage packaging and life-size animatronic recreations of Cadbury ads along Advertising Avenue bring on the nostalgia. Hi, drumming gorilla! There's high-octane action too. The Ultimate Tour of Cadbury World: Chocolates, History, and Fun! We get competitive, zapping ingredients with laser guns on the Chocolate Quest ride, and love the 4D cinema, splashing into liquid chocolate and riding the Crunchie rollercoaster. We spot cool vehicles and wonder . . . can we swap our family car for a giant Creme Egg on wheels? But we finish as we begin, loading up on chocolate in the gift shop as Eva makes friends with the Caramel Bunny. Then it is off to the brilliant African Adventure outdoor play area so the kids can burn off what they have scoffed, while we sneak a few squares in peace.
