Initially attempting weight loss through walking, Grewell found the strain on his knees unbearable due to his weight. This led him to purchase a bicycle on May 6, 2023, marking the beginning of his cycling journey.
Grewell's commitment to cycling, combined with calorie counting and a focus on protein intake, resulted in a significant weight loss, bringing him down to approximately 275 pounds. He also shared his experience on Reddit in a post titled "Cycling changed my life forever," which garnered over 4,300 upvotes.

Reflecting on his past lifestyle, Grewell admitted, "In January of 2023 I weighed 487 pounds. I was 34 years old and at a major crossroads in life. Fix my health, or I will have an abbreviated life. I started walking more and eating better. I don't know how many calories I was consuming at my heaviest, but I imagine it was a lot to maintain or gain at that weight. I cut fried foods, sweets, alcohol, etc".

"I was in pain. Lots of pain, especially in my knees. Someone suggested I ride a bike, as it's lower impact on my knees. By May I had lost 70 or so pounds, which was crazy, because I had never lost weight like that," he shared on Reddit.
"Today I weigh 212 pounds. Yes, I have lost 275 pounds, and I'm not 100% where I want to be yet. It's happened way faster than I thought it would, and biking is what has been the catalyst to make this all come to being. I have loose, extra skin around my belly and thighs. In November of this year I will get that removed. I keep joking that it'll be great for my biking because it'll boost my watts per kilogram," he wrote on Reddit.

Dr Sood highlighted that by being more aware of our bodies and the subtle signs they send, we can take proactive steps to address potential health issues and maintain overall well-being. He added, 'These signs don't confirm a deficiency on their own, but they are worth paying attention to, especially if they persist.' Instead of ice cream, she has fruit popsicles when eating out. 4. Lastly, the fitness coach orders mixed vegetable soup in place of a rich tomato soup at a restaurant. 1. According to the fitness coach, one piece of bhatura is approximately 350 calories at least. Additionally, it's all refined flour and oil, which is bad for the gut. Therefore, she recommended eating rice instead. She said, 'One medium bowl of rice (100 g) is easiest to digest, and is just 120 calories.' 2. Per Ambika, we often order hara bhara kebab, thinking it's just paneer tossed in spices and served as kebab. But in reality, it's fried. Whereas, a kachumber peanut salad is all vegetables with some roasted peanuts. Therefore, it's a low-calorie, nutritious snack. 3. The fitness coach explained that fruit popsicles hardly have 60 to 100 calories. 'Of course, colour and sugar additives can be there, but it's better than any other ice cream, which is loaded with cream, fat, and sugar, making it too high in calories and heavy for the gut,' Ambika explained. 4. Lastly, she explained that tomato soups are mostly loaded with cream, butter, and sometimes even served with added sugar, and on top of it, you get fried bread crumbs or bread rolls on the side Whereas, a mixed vegetable soup is just finely chopped vegetables with some seasoning and a little bit of corn flour.
