To All The Boys I've Loved Before's Noah Centineo has become a Netflix heartthrob with his charming persona in the romance comedy film franchise. The American actor is reportedly set to make a dramatic shift from his chocolate boy image into a rugged role as young John Rambo. His upcoming on-screen part involves heavy weaponry as he will take on the combat boots of the iconic actor Sylvester Stallone, leaving social media divided.
Sylvester Stallone has captivated the action-loving audience over the years by playing Rambo in five films – First Blood (1982), Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), Rambo III (1988), Rambo (2008) and Rambo: Last Blood (2019). But now he has made sure that he is not involved in the upcoming prequel. Instead, Noah Centineo, who recently played a spy in Netflix's The Recruit, will take up the role of young John Rambo.
Noah Centineo will next be seen in the character of young John Rambo, originally from David Morrell's 1972 novel First Blood, known for his combat skills and traumatic experiences in war. According to a report by Deadline, director Jalmari Helander will helm the upcoming project, and the script is written by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. Although the plot is under wraps, based on the novel, the upcoming film will explore Rambo's origin story during the Vietnam War.

Soon, social media users began reacting to it, with one writing, 'Is he fit for this role?" Another person mentioned, 'We don't need more Rambo movies." Someone said, 'Some legends are reborn without their creators. Noah Centineo is set to star in the Rambo prequel John Rambo, with no involvement from Sylvester Stallone." For Centineo, many are even claiming that his team is set to turn his career into an action hero based on his casting in the prequel of Rambo, followed by his appearance in Netflix's The Recruit, which was cancelled after two seasons.
