Wayne's post, to his one million followers, said: 'Thought about this post a lot.
'This is my very close friend who has worked at Ocean for eight years, he has the most special heart and in all of the years that I've known him he has never raised his voice once.
'He took two punches from Conor McGregor in Pacha for absolutely no reason.

One of Joe's pals, who was in the club during the bust-up, told The Sun: "He has worked with Wayne for a long time and Wayne is very loyal to his staff.

"Conor had a great deal at Ocean - he got a table and drinks for free. Now that benefit may well be taken away.
"If you were around Conor in the club and you took your phone out, you'd be told to put it away.

"I don't know how Joe got that close to begin with.
"Joe's not said anything about pressing charges or making a formal complaint to the police.
"He had some time off booked after the incident anyway, but Wayne has been very good at handling it.
"Joe's fine and there was no injury from the punches. It was obviously a shock, and he feels he was in the wrong place at the wrong time."
Earlier in the evening, the combat sports legend was pictured with glamour model
Taking to Instagram, he was seen puffing on a cigar while wearing red shorts, a sun hat and sunglasses while playing up to the crowd.
Price, 47, reshared the story to her own Instagram page with the caption: "You legend," after McGregor tagged her in his own story and said: "Forever".
Spurs ace Kevin Danso also shared a snap of himself with the MMA fighter.
The Sun's exclusive footage first showed how McGregor was talking to a man on the exclusive club's dancefloor before putting his arm around his shoulders from a platform above.
After the pair chat for less than ten seconds, McGregor strikes the man, who appears to be Mr Gomez,

to his pal with his left hand.
The first punch failed to cleanly connect, but less than a second later, the "Notorious" lands a clean left hook as the startled party-goer falls to the floor.
McGregor, wearing a black and white shirt and tight white trousers, is then shielded from other club-goers by his own friends, who stormed the booth he was standing in.
Revellers in the nightclub revealed that after the bizarre scrap, the man punched by McGregor was thrown out, while the Irish fighter kept drinking.
One told The Sun: 'Clearly something's been said to annoy him and he's reacted very badly.
'The guy seemed to fall to the floor, and his mates came to pick him up and get him away.
'There [didn't appear to be any] consequences for Conor, but the guy he punched was taken away and I didn't see him again.'

The short but violent scrap unfolded at 5:53am after McGregor, who hasn't fought since 2021, had spent the night partying with his huge entourage.
Another club-goer said: "He had his arm around someone who looked like his mate.
'Someone came up to them and when Conor hit him, about five people fell to the floor as the guy stumbled back.
"It was a bit like bowling pins, but the guy was really shaken by the hits.
"About a minute later, the bouncers came and got him on the back and took him out of the club, because he had annoyed Conor.
"It was right before close anyway. There was no messing around, they just removed him.
"Conor left through the garden a bit later, he didn't look very happy that they got into a fight."
Wayne Lineker
and McGregor's representative were asked to comment.

I thought like Eric or someone would have told you or something. "He's like, 'No. I didn't know, that's so cool. Like, how was he? Was he cool?' I was like, 'Yeah, he was cool, he was funny. I've sort of gone through, not that situation, but similar. 'Being in the public eye and feeling the need to explain your sexuality which I don't think anyone needs to at all. JoJo is so young, she's growing and learning like we all are. Life changes.' Christine continued to tell the Situationship podcast : 'One of the best things about being an adult is that you can change your mind at any time. JoJo, I think she's always been open about the fact she's queer and that's how she refers to herself. 'She loves whoever she loves and it's not necessarily about gender. Although I don't put a label on myself, it kind of is how I feel. It's called private life for a reason. People think you're in the public eye and we're entitled to know what you're up to. I've had it the last couple of years and it's not nice .' The star ended by saying: 'Sexuality has been a big part of it and it shouldn't be. Two people have met and they're really happy and they're exploring whether it's a friendship or a relationship.' During a private chat in the bedroom on Big Brother, JoJo confessed: "I feel so queer," as co-star Danny Beard then responded: "I'm queer!" JoJo Siwa and Kath Ebbs' relationship We look back at JoJo Siwa's romance with Kath Ebbs: JoJo Siwa went public with hers and Kath Ebbs' relationship in January 2025. The Dance Moms star had been introduced to 27-year-old Australian content creator Kath by a mutual friend called G-Flip six months earlier. JoJo had split with her girlfriend Dakayla Wilson in November 2024 and it is believed she hooked up romantically with Kath soon after. Speaking in March at the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, JoJo said of her relationship: 'I am so happy. I am in a very mature relationship, and it's beautiful. It's taught me so much about life. 'It's taught me so much about love and respect, and it's a beautiful thing. 'It's different in more ways than I can count. I wouldn't even know what to say the biggest is 'cause just everything is so different and special.' Kath even claimed they had talked about marriage together. However, JoJo's romance with Kath abruptly hit the skids on April 25, 2025, at the Celebrity Big Brother wrap party. JoJo dumped Kath at the bash after spending 19 days in the CBB house - where she had grown close to Love Island star Chris Hughes. She added: "I do live this very, very big public life that has so many eyeballs on it, and it can get really hard to navigate. "But I'm also living a human life. You can't help who you love." The term queer is defined by LGBTQ charity Stonewall as "a term used by those wanting to reject specific labels of sexual orientation and/or gender identity". Cork boxer Callum Walsh closing in on world title fights with backing of UFC's Dana White

Unbeaten Cork super-welterweight Callum Walsh (13-0) will take on Mexican contender Elias Espadas in California on Saturday night. The 24-year-old is on a streak of four successive knockouts, the last three all coming in the first two rounds. His last fight, against Scotland's Dean Sutherland, was a first-round stoppage victory at Madison Square Garden in New York in March. Walsh is ranked in the top 10 of the division by two of the sanctioning bodies and is currently one of the highest ranked Irish fighters in professional boxing. Walsh has enjoyed the backing of UFC CEO Dana White, with his fights being broadcast on UFC Fight Pass, the company's streaming service. READ MORE White also travelled to Dublin for Walsh's bout at the 3Arena last year, when he knocked out Polish fighter Przemyslaw Runowski in the second round. Walsh was the first boxer to be supported by the MMA promoter and White has since announced he will co-promote the blockbuster fight between Canelo Alvarez and Terrence Crawford alongside Saudi Arabian billionaire Turki al-Sheikh, who has invested heavily in the sport. Walsh's opponent Espadas has won 23 contests, with six defeats and one draw. He has won 16 fights by knockout. However, Espadas has only fought five times in the last four years, winning two, drawing one, and losing the other two by knockout. The 34-year-old will be a heavy underdog in the contest, and Walsh will be hoping this fight is just another step towards a world title. White is not the only high-profile member of Team Walsh, as he is trained by Freddie Roach of the Wild Card Boxing gym in Hollywood. Roach has been living with Parkinson's disease for nearly 40 years and has said the hand-eye co-ordination involved in training fighters helps with his symptoms. The 65-year-old has trained legendary fighters like James Toney, Oscar De La Hoya, and, most famously, Manny Pacquiao, the eight-weight world champion from the Philippines. Pacquiao, now 46, recently returned to train alongside Walsh at the LA gym ahead of a comeback world title fight which is scheduled for July.
