BIG RAPIDS — Making any division of the MHSAA golf state championships is a challenge.
That becomes increasingly true when you don't have a team to qualify under and have to make your way through in the tight individual qualifier field.

Ben Hanes of Harbor Light Christian did that.
Making top 10 at the state championships is then another big challenge to overcome.
But, Hanes was up for that one too.
The Swordsmen senior capped his season and career with a 10th place finish in the Division 4 boys golf championships at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids over the weekend.

The finish came out of more than 100 golfers in the field.

In Division 2, Gaylord's Marshall Krajniak also shot 85-79—164 to place 62nd at Bedford Valley in Battle Creek.

Chiefs' Travis Kelce Mom Lands Major Spot On Reality TV Show originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has taken much of the family spotlight this offseason. His relationship with pop music princess Taylor Swift continues to capture the hearts of the many while the build-up to his farewell tour increases by the day. Kelce will retire from the NFL after this season. He, Patrick Mahomes and the rest of Chiefs Kingdom hope to pull out one more run to the Super Bowl. When that time ultimately comes for him to move on from the game, don't expect the Kelce family to go away from the public eye. Travis and his brother, Jason, co-host the "New Heights" podcast which has been quite successful. Even the family's matriarch Donna Kelce has found her way into the spotlight. In fact, she had a major announcement this week that will be sure to provide more Kelce content. Both Donna and Jason will participate in season four of the reality TV series "The Traitors." She made her announcement official with a post on Instagram captioned, "Sundays were just the beginning. I raised the two playmakers, but now it's mamas turn." The show will begin streaming on Peacock and has begun filming in Scotland. Donna and Jason will be joined by a number of reality TV stars from other programs along with a group of celebrities including Michael Rapoport and Tara Lipinksi. Scotland 'door not closed' on players who miss out on World Cup

Scotland head coach Bryan Easson says he will not close the door on international rugby for those players who miss out on his squad for the Women's Rugby World Cup. Easson has named a 38-player training squad prior to the tournament in England this summer. Advertisement Among those to miss out was experienced lock Louise McMillan, who said in an Instagram post: "There was a slow dawning that despite injuries in my position, I wouldn't be recalled, confirming the painful truth that my journey with this coaching team was nearing its end. My World Cup dream, my professional contract, slipped from my grasp." Easson says there will always be tough decisions on who to leave out of the World Cup squad, but that it need not signal an end of Test careers. "These selections are very, very difficult," Easson told BBC Scotland. "But to leave out players now actually shows the strength of Scotland women's rugby. So some players who do have a legacy, some players who do have given a lot to Scotland women's rugby over the years, will miss out and it's always tough. Advertisement "But the door's never closed for those players. It's just a moment in time, it's a selection that we have to make, it's a selection that we believe at this moment in time is right. "No matter who they are, if they're playing well, they'll be the ones that are selected and that's how we have to push this team forward and that's how you get better performances on the field."
