said that 'License Raj' kept Bihar poor for a long time, with the Dalits being the biggest victims.
"Some families became millionaires and billionaires by showing these people false dreams of being free from poverty... In the coming time, three crore more houses will be built. I told you I will not stop at the work of service. Modi will not sleep peacefully and will keep working day and night because you people are my family. It is my dream that not even a single member of my family should be left behind or stay in misery," the prime minister said at a public rally in Siwan.

He added that Bihar needed to maintain momentum to ensure progress of the state, adding that people who brought 'Jungle Raj' were trying to return to power and repeat old misdeeds.
"More than 1.5 crore houses have been provided with electricity connection. Water connection has been provided to 1.5 crore houses. More than 45 thousand Common Service Centres have been created. For Bihar's progress, we have to keep increasing this pace continuously. In the last 10 years, about 55 thousand km of rural roads have been built in Bihar,"

Modi said that the Congress and Lalu Prasad Yadav-led RJD had hurt had hurt the pride of Bihar by looting the state, adding that these parties only raised the slogan 'gareebi hatao' but that it was the NDA government that made it possible.

People who are ready to put the brake on the journey towards a prosperous Bihar have to be kept at bay... These people used to raise slogans of 'gareebi hatao'. But the NDA government made it possible after you voted for us."
Modi further said that Bihar would become the centre of 'Make in India' initiative and gave the example of the locomotive factory at Marhowrah. He also alleged that the Congress and RJD are against the development of Bihar.
"During my recent visit abroad, I had discussions with leaders of some of the world's most developed nations. All of them are deeply impressed by India's rapid progress. They see India emerging as the world's third-largest economic power Bihar is certainly going to play a significant role in this journey. A prosperous Bihar will contribute greatly to the prosperity of the nation as well," Modi said.

Intensifying his criticism of the INDIA bloc allies, Modi accused the RJD and Congress of undermining the self-respect of the people of Bihar, "My Bihari brothers and sisters show their mettle by working even in the most difficult situations. They never compromise with his self-respect. But the people with the Panja (Congress) and the lantern (JDU) together have greatly hurt Bihar's self-respect."

Won't share Indus waters with other states: Omar
JAMMU: Days after Union home minister Amit Shah declared that Indus waters will be taken to Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar through canals within three years, J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah on Friday opposed sharing such flows with other states. 'I will never allow this (divert water from J&K to other states). Let's use our water for ourselves first,' Omar said when asked about the Centre's proposal for a 113-km canal to redirect surplus waters from Indus, Jhelum and Chenab to Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. Shah had announced the canal plan in Madhya Pradesh's Pachmarhi on June 14 against the backdrop of the Centre putting Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan 'in abeyance' in the aftermath of the April 22 Pahalgam attack. Speaking on the sidelines of an outreach office's inauguration in Jammu on Friday, Omar made it clear that he would not allow any proposal to build a canal and divert surplus water to other states. 'I am not going to give approval. Let us be allowed to use our water first, then we will talk about others,' the J&K chief minister said.
