'Delusional': Mum's plea to not send her son, five, by himself to ex-husband's wedding to his mistress backfires spectacularly

A mum's plea for advice after her son was invited to her ex-husband's wedding with his mistress has backfired.
The mother of the five-year-old boy, who goes by sad.momster on Instagram, frequently shares life updates after divorcing her unfaithful ex-husband, with whom she shares their young son.
Her ex, who is soon to be married to the woman he cheated on her with, sent their son an invitation to the nuptials, but did not extend one to her.
The mum subsequently took to TikTok, pleading for advice about whether or not to send their child to his dad's big day without her there.
'My ex-husband just invited our five-year-old son to his wedding...with his mistress, without inviting me," she said in a video earlier this month.
'Got the invitation in the mail today, and guess what?
'My name's not even on it, not a mention. Like I don't exist."
The mum said her ex-husband told her his new bride "doesn't want (her) there" and his own mother would be the one to mind the boy on the day.
'You mean the 78-year-old woman who couldn't handle him for two hours while I went grocery shopping?!" the furious divorcee said.
'The same woman who called me a drama queen for crying during my divorce? That one?
'I don't want to keep my kid away from his dad. I really don't. But this wedding...this whole situation...is a slap in the face.
'Do I just show up anyway? Uninvited? Do I let my son go alone with people who don't really care about me or him?
'Honestly...I don't know what to do."
However, many people in the comments ignored the question and accused the mum of being delusional for expecting to be invited.
"Am I the only one who thinks she's delulu for thinking she'd be invited to the wedding?" one person wrote.
"When I remarried, my ex wasn't invited, and if he got married, I wouldn't expect to be invited either."
Another person said it was irrelevant for her to mention missing out on an invite, saying the real question is whether she wants her son to go or not.
"What would be best for him? The rest is just emotional. Be glad that man is not your problem anymore," the person said.
Others were more sypathetic to her plight, however.
"I feel you. Your son is just five years old," another person said.
"If there is no one who can take care of him that day, someone whom you can trust, I wouldn't let him go."
Many others suggested she hire a nanny whose sole purpose is to look after her son at the wedding so she can feel comfortable allowing him to go.
However, in a major twist, the mistress went on to blame the mum after her wedding was postponed because she went into spontaneous labour.
The mum of the boy on Tuesday took to Instagram Stories saying the mistress erupted after finding emails she had sent to her ex-husband.
"She bombarded me with angry messages," the woman said.
"She started a huge fight, got jealous of our son and me.
"Because of her nerves, her water broke and she gave birth, and now she is in the hospital and blames me for everything."
The mum said she doesn't think the wedding will ever go ahead now, and breathed a sigh of relief at not having to send her son away anytime soon.

Justin Bieber says he 'doesn't deserve forgiveness'

Justin Bieber receives "forgiveness and love" that he "truly [doesn't] deserve". The 31-year-old pop star has taken to social media to open up about his faith, revealing that he "wouldn't be able" to get through the day without love from Jesus. Justin - who is married to model Hailey Bieber - wrote on Instagram: "grateful for a new day. "grateful for Jesus "he meets me every morning with forgiveness and love "that I truly don't deserve "so grateful that he gives this love so freely, so graciously "Wouldn't be able to get thru the day without his love. "It meets me at my lowest. (sic)" Justin's post featured a selfie of the pop star wearing a Toronto Maple Leafs jacket while looking into the camera. The chart-topping singer also shared a screenshot of the post on his Instagram Stories, alongside Lord Do It For Me by Zacadi Cortez. Justin has been married to Hailey since 2018, but speculation has swirled in recent months about the status of their relationship. Despite this, Justin insisted earlier this year that marrying Hailey is the one of the "smartest" decisions he's ever made. The pop star - who previously dated Selena Gomez - told Vogue magazine: "I've done a lot of dumb things in my life, but the smartest thing I've ever done was marry Hailey." Justin also pushed back against the online criticism that Hailey often faces. He said: "She's in the spotlight, and has the attention because of her effortless knack for style, business, art and fashion. And the way she makes being a mom and wife look easy." Hailey, 28, has previously made concerted efforts to "correct" the online narrative. However, she's found those efforts to be futile and she's now learning from her husband's approach to life. The model - who has enjoyed huge success with her Rhode skincare brand - shared: "I've learned so much from Justin, really. "He's been doing this literally since he was a child and he has had to face the most scrutiny of any person that I know. He was like, 'Baby, trust me, I've been here before many, many times. You're not going to win. There is no winning.'"

Taylor Swift's cheeky jab to critics in new interview alongside boyfriend Travis Kelce

Don't miss out on the headlines from Music. Followed categories will be added to My News. Taylor Swift has taken a cheeky swipe at her critics just one day after the announcement of her twelfth studio album sent fans into meltdown. In a brief new promo for her highly-anticipated appearance on boyfriend Travis Kelce's podcast, New Heights – which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason – Swift referenced backlash over all the attention her presence at his NFL games had attracted throughout their relationship. 'Thanks for having me on my favourite podcast,' Swift, 35, told the siblings. She then joked: 'As we all know, you guys have a lot of male sports fans that listen to your podcast, and I think we all know that if there's one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens … it's more of me.' Earlier, Jason had provided a breathless, enthusiastic introduction for Swift, describing her as 'the most-awarded artist in the history of the American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and iHeart Radio Music Awards', pointing out she'd won 14 Grammys. 'She is the only artist in the history to an album of the year. Last December, she wrapped up the Eras Tour, which spanned 149 shows across 51 cities, five continents. It was the most-attended tour of all time. Of all time! ' … Are you ready for it? Making your podcast debut, the most expensive guest in the history of shows – Taylor Swift!' The singer was seen stifling giggles throughout the monologue, telling him at the end: 'That intro Jason, oh my God … His soul has left his body. That was so good, that was so sweet.' Swift has given an interview on her boyfriend's podcast. Picture: Instagram The latest promo comes after Swift once again sent fans into a frenzy, re-emerging after months under the radar to reveal she's about to release her twelfth studio album: The Life of a Showgirl. The singer popped up in the first teaser for her boyfriend's podcast, in which the couple appeared alongside each other and engaged in some flirty banter about how well they 'match' before dropping the big news. 'So I wanted to show you something … This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl,' Swift said as she held up the album, with Kelce adding, 'TS12!' The full podcast episode will drop early Thursday morning, Australian time. On Tuesday, Kelce also offered a rare glimpse into his romance with Swift, telling GQ magazine about how they fell in love. 'Whenever I'm with her, it feels like we're just regular people,' Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, explained. 'When there is not a camera on us, we're just two people that are in love. 'It can be perceived as something else because of how much it is talked about, and how much we are tracked whenever we do go out. 'But I would say that it's as normal of … it happened very organically, even though from a media standpoint it was being tracked. It still happened very organically.' Kelce added that he and Swift, both 35, 'fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with.' 'We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are. We share all those values. It kind of just took the f**k off.' Kelce and Swift after the Chiefs victory over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game in Kansas City on January 26. Picture: AP Photo/Charlie Riedel, File The singer's presence at some of the games and the attention it attracts has sparked some criticism among football fans. Picture:The pair first unveiled their romance in September 2023 when Swift was spotted cheering her three-time Super Bowl-winning boyfriend on during a home game. Kelce and Swift went on to make several loved-up public appearances over the months that followed, with the athlete even popping up on stage in a cameo during his girlfriend's sold-out Eras Tour last year. According to Kelce, their mutual support and respect for each other's work has brought them even closer together. 'I hadn't experienced somebody in the same shoes as me, having a partner who understands the scrutiny, understands the ups and downs of being in front of millions,' he explained to GQ. 'That was very relatable, seeing how exhausted she would get after shows. She may not think of herself as an athlete. She will never tell anyone that she is an athlete. But I've seen what she goes through. 'I've seen the amount of work that she puts on her body, and it's mind-blowing.' 'A proper f****** rock band': Chrissie Hynde had the best time seeing Oasis live with pal Johnny Marr

Chrissie Hynde says the Oasis Live '25 Tour is "exactly what the world needs right now". The Pretenders frontwoman attended one of the Britpop legends' Wembley Stadium gigs with old bandmate Johnny Marr, and also bumped into supermodel Kate Moss - who, she says, "missed her calling" as a singer. Updating fans on Instagram , she penned: 'James and I went with @johnnymarrgram to see @oasis the other week. They were great as one would expect.' Praising support act Richard Ashcroft, she said: 'Saw a bunch of old pals in the audience and was dancing with Kate Moss to support act, the excellent voiced @richardashcroftofficial." She continued: 'I always remind Kate that she missed her calling, and could've been a singer. She reminded me that, 'For me, it was either Woolworths or modelling.' Because Kate rarely does interviews (unlike every other celebrity on the planet) people don't know what a riot she is. Well, she is, and now you know…' Moving on to the main event, the 73-year-old rocker hailed the Supersonic hitmakers - who are playing their first concerts in 16 years, after brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher put their long-standing feud behind them - "a proper f****** rock band". She said: 'Oasis were in great form. 'There is still nothing better than a rock band doing their thing with a minimal light show and no extra people cluttering the stage. In other words, a proper f****** rock band! Exactly what the world needs now.'
