Jin's Don't Say You Love Me has soared in popularity, debuting at No. 1 on the UK's Official Chart just weeks after its release.
Jin was the last BTS member to debut as a solo artist, following in the footsteps of his bandmates who had already released individual albums. In November 2024, he unveiled his first solo project, Happy. Just six months later, Jin made a powerful comeback with a new release titled Echo, which has garnered even more attention, particularly in the United Kingdom. One of the standout tracks, Don't Say You Love Me, has seen immense success, debuting at No. 1 on the UK's Official Chart just weeks after its release. With this achievement, Jin has cemented his place on the global stage as a solo artist, making history once again.
According to reports, Jin's latest song Don't Say You Love Me is currently at number 1 on the Official Physical Singles Chart. The track has gained huge attention and has managed to beat several other popular songs to reach the top. Some of the songs that passed include What The Hell Just Happened by Remember Monday, Latin Dynamite by Kevin Fingier Collective, Ed Sheeran's Aziza, Lackluster Writing Makes Fundamental by Makeshift Art Bar and All I Ever Asked by Rachel Chinouriri, among others.
Don't Say You Love Me marks Jin's second solo entry on the Official Chart. His first was Running Wild, released in November 2024, which debuted at number 6 but only stayed for one week before vanishing. Unlike last year's track, the latest song from Echo has made a much bigger impact. It not only came on top at the Physical Singles Chart but also reached number 1 on the Official Singles Downloads charts.
Along with Don't Say You Love Me, Jin's new album, Echo, includes seven more songs. The full tracklist features Nothing Without Your Love, Loser, Rope It, Background, With the Clouds and To Me, Today.
Jin is now getting ready to reunite with the rest of the BTS members, RM, V, Jungkook, Suga and Jimin, as they are expected to complete their military service by the end of June. The singer was the first to be discharged, and soon after, J-Hope also completed his service last year. Since then, J-Hope has stayed active in music and even held his own concert tour, Hope on the Stage, which is set to wrap up on June 1.
