BTS Star Jin's Solo Track Don't Say You Love Me Tops UK Official Chart
Last Updated:
Jin's Don't Say You Love Me has soared in popularity, debuting at No. 1 on the UK's Official Chart just weeks after its release.
Jin was the last BTS member to debut as a solo artist, following in the footsteps of his bandmates who had already released individual albums. In November 2024, he unveiled his first solo project, Happy. Just six months later, Jin made a powerful comeback with a new release titled Echo, which has garnered even more attention, particularly in the United Kingdom. One of the standout tracks, Don't Say You Love Me, has seen immense success, debuting at No. 1 on the UK's Official Chart just weeks after its release. With this achievement, Jin has cemented his place on the global stage as a solo artist, making history once again.
According to reports, Jin's latest song Don't Say You Love Me is currently at number 1 on the Official Physical Singles Chart. The track has gained huge attention and has managed to beat several other popular songs to reach the top. Some of the songs that passed include What The Hell Just Happened by Remember Monday, Latin Dynamite by Kevin Fingier Collective, Ed Sheeran's Aziza, Lackluster Writing Makes Fundamental by Makeshift Art Bar and All I Ever Asked by Rachel Chinouriri, among others.
Don't Say You Love Me marks Jin's second solo entry on the Official Chart. His first was Running Wild, released in November 2024, which debuted at number 6 but only stayed for one week before vanishing. Unlike last year's track, the latest song from Echo has made a much bigger impact. It not only came on top at the Physical Singles Chart but also reached number 1 on the Official Singles Downloads charts.
Along with Don't Say You Love Me, Jin's new album, Echo, includes seven more songs. The full tracklist features Nothing Without Your Love, Loser, Rope It, Background, With the Clouds and To Me, Today.
Jin is now getting ready to reunite with the rest of the BTS members, RM, V, Jungkook, Suga and Jimin, as they are expected to complete their military service by the end of June. The singer was the first to be discharged, and soon after, J-Hope also completed his service last year. Since then, J-Hope has stayed active in music and even held his own concert tour, Hope on the Stage, which is set to wrap up on June 1.

HOPE ON THE STAGE Live Viewing Review: BTS' J-Hope shuts down fake abs rumors, slays singing and dancing worthy of ace tag
J-Hope, aka Jung Hoseok, is often categorized as a rapper in the globally popular K-pop group BTS. Third in line, in terms of age, he is also called the performance leader of the team, while RM takes on the general leader title. The latter has also gone on record to say that in his absence, he would hand the responsibility of the team to the former, thanks to his trustworthy skills. Called a rapper, the singer-songwriter began as a street dancer, and has time and again proven where his roots belong, with releases surrounding his underground days taking shape as some of his most loved tracks. Soon, he'll be closing off his first world tour, having toured Asia and North America, with encore concerts in his homeland. His official last city stop in the HOPE ON THE STAGE TOUR, before heading back to South Korea, was in Japan, with the first show in Osaka being streamed live globally across theatres with PVR INOX, and you bet we were there to witness it, all the way from India. Not far away from fashion taking the forefront in his life, J-Hope started off strong, with a red fit and some of his most celebrated solo songs, creating an unparalleled impact right from the get-go. One of the more anticipated performances, ARSON, on the street, i wonder, and more followed suit, and the crowd came alive for the star who never let loose even for a second. Older solo release, collaboration tracks, and more were in line, with each dance getting a louder reaction from the audience. J-Hope's latest songs, Sweet Dreams and MONA LISA, released post his military discharge, were like a fever dream, launching his appreciation score to the max for us. Finally, BTS ' group songs like Airplane Pt. 2, MIC Drop, Silver Spoon, and Dis-ease earned wild reactions from attendees who chanted the septet's names with such fervor, you'd know it was time for the group to reunite. The singer also addressed absurd rumors doing the rounds, but in a very J-Hope way, sharing a story from his military service about working hard towards maintaining his 'survival muscles'. His taut abs, visible from the white, fitted vest he fashioned over loose-fitting jeans, did the rest of the talking for him. HOPE ON THE STAGE was as real as it gets for the juggernaut, who has taken yet another chance to prove himself worthy of the all-rounder title that has longed for his acknowledgement.

It's a fitting metaphor for where BTS and ARMY stand today: at the edge of something brand new, filled with gratitude for the past and hope for the future. It's the future we'll walk together with ARMY." And that journey is now officially underway. Adding to the excitement, BigHit Music revealed on June 1 the details of a two-day, offline FESTA event to be held on June 13 and 14 at the KINTEX 2 Exhibition Center in South Korea. It's designed to be more than just a fan meet—it's an immersive, interactive experience meant to honor the band's 12-year legacy and share it with fans in person. The event will include exclusive exhibits, interactive booths, BTS-themed installations, and a space for ARMYs to reflect, connect, and celebrate the group's journey. Gates will open at 9 AM KST, with festivities running from 10 AM to 7 PM, and BigHit has encouraged fans to arrive early to enjoy the full experience. And this is only the beginning. While Jin and J-Hope are leading the festivities this year, the other five members—RM, SUGA, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—are all expected to complete their military service in June, setting the stage for something fans have been waiting years for: a full OT7 reunion. For many, this FESTA feels like a slow, joyous countdown to that powerful moment. Whispers of new music, concerts, and a potential world tour have fans buzzing. Could FESTA 2025 be the prelude to BTS's biggest comeback yet? All signs point to yes. And it's not just the logistics—it's the emotional gravity of what this comeback represents. For fans, BTS isn't just a band. It's comfort. It's motivation. It's family. Through music, social change, and vulnerability, BTS built something few artists have: a community that spans continents, generations, and languages. And FESTA has always been the annual celebration of that bond. So as the purple lights glow brighter and June 13 approaches, the air is thick with anticipation. FESTA 2025 is not only a commemoration of what BTS has achieved—but a celebration of what's yet to come. Twelve years. Seven members. One family. And a story still being written. The wait is over. The reunion is near. And BTS is coming home.
