Shoaib Ibrahim Adds Stardust To Sonakshi Sinha's Nikita Roy Screening
Shoaib Ibrahim turned heads with his effortlessly stylish appearance at the special screening of Sonakshi Sinha 's upcoming film Nikita Roy on Wednesday. The television star stood out with his cool and confident look, all without going over the top. He kept it simple yet classy, opting for a fitted black T-shirt and relaxed-fit jeans. It was the perfect example of how less can indeed be more.
Beyond his styling choices, what really made an impression was Shoaib's grounded presence. Bringing quiet charm to the event, he patiently posed for the paparazzi and just exited the spot after greeting them with a quick and warm hand gesture. Though he wasn't seeking the spotlight, his calm and composed energy naturally drew attention.

Shoaib's resilience and strength have recently drawn the attention of fans. Married to former Bigg Boss winner and actress Dipika Kakar since February 2018, he is currently facing a challenging time alongside her. Earlier this year, Dipika was diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer and recently underwent surgery as part of her treatment for the life-threatening illness. While she is now back home, her therapy is still ongoing.
Dipika and Shoaib are proud parents to an adorable baby boy, Ruhaan, whom they welcomed in June 2023.
On the work front, Shoaib rose to fame with his role in shows including Sasural Simar Ka, Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein and Ishq Mein Marjaavan, among others. He was also one of the finalists in the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa 11.
Moving on to Nikita Roy, the film features Sonakshi as an investigator who challenges fake supernatural claims, until she comes across a case that is beyond logic and her beliefs. It is directed by Sonakshi's brother, Kussh S Sinha.
Earlier, Kussh opened up on directing sister Sonakshi in the film in a chat with News18 Showsha. He said, 'Very professional. She's an experienced actor, so on set, she wasn't just my sister; she was a collaborator. She respected my role as director and I respected her as an actor. Apart from one funny disagreement about the colour of ice cream in a scene, everything went smoothly."
Nikita Roy, starring Sonakshi alongside Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal, is set to release on July 18.

She recalls being humbled singing for Shabana and an unforgettable experience with Sridevi. Kavita also recounts a funny rehearsal story involving the lyrics 'Chi Hua Hua… Honolulu,' later changed to 'Mombasa.' Kavita Krishnamurthy, known for lending her voice to legendary Hindi film songs such as "Hawa Hawai" from 'Mr. India', "Nimbooda" from 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', "Bole Chudiyan" from 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', and "Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast" from 'Mohra', remains one of Bollywood's most revered playback singers. In a recent interview, she shared her admiration for the actors she has sung for, revealing that early in her career, she felt deeply humbled singing for Shabana Azmi , with some listeners even mistaking her voice for that of the actress herself. Impressive singing for Shabana Azmi Speaking to News18, the singer said that she was completely impressed when she first sang for Shabana Azmi. In 'Mile Sur Mera Tumhara', she sang just one line and it sounded exactly like Shabana's voice—so much so that people would think Shabana was singing it herself. Later, when she sang for her in 'Saaz' and 'In Custody', the way Shabana moved her lips made it feel like the song truly belonged to her. Unforgettable experience singing for Sridevi She also opened up about singing for Sridevi, describing the experience as unforgettable. She said that when she first went to Lakshmikant's house to learn the song, she didn't even know it was hers because, due to the scale, she thought it must be for Asha. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Gleiten Sie in Ihre finanzielle Zukunft eToro Click Here Undo However, when she was told it was for Sridevi and that her voice would remain, she couldn't believe it. That evening at home, she drove her mother mad by repeating 'Chi Hua Hua… Honolulu…' at the dinner table and even before bed. Her mother thought she had lost it. Finally, in the studio the next day, Javed walked in and said that he had found the last word for the song. Late last night, it came to him that it should end with 'Mombasa'.
