Vada pav, one of the most relished street foods in Mumbai. Agree? Often called the Indian burger, it consists of a deep-fried potato fritter (vada) placed inside a soft bread roll (pav), and served with a generous dollop of chutneys and fried green chillies. The popular snack, known for being one of the quickest meals of all time, offers a range of flavours with just one bite. So much so that it also makes foodies from around the world fans over time. Don't believe us? Check out a Hindi-speaking desi Japanese influencer Koki Shishido's relishable experience.
In a video making the rounds on the internet, Koki was seen showcasing his genuine reaction upon relishing vada pav over the course of one year. The clip kicks off with him, dressed in his casuals, entering the frame as a Japanese tourist in India, approaching a vada pav seller. He asks a vada pav vendor, 'Hello brother, what is this?' Soon, the vendor replies, " Yeh vada pav hai (This is vada pav).' He quickly quips, 'Vada pav...? Let me try one. Thank you.' But as he tasted the vada pav, the bread and green chilli's crispy, sweet and tangy flavours weren't much liked by him. His initial reaction was 'I don't like it.'
Contrary to this, after a year, a change in his liking towards the street food can be noticed. In the following scene, the influencer can be seen dressed in an Indian ethnic ensemble and interacting with the vada pav in Marathi. He says, ' Namaste, dada. Kasa kai (How are you)?' The vendor replies, ' Mai achcha hai (I'm good).' Koki adds, ' Achcha hai? Ek vada pav diya (You are good? Please give a vada pav),' adding, ' Meetha khatta chutney dedo nah (Please also give sweet and tangy condiment with it). Thank you.' As he relishes the plate, he can be heard mentioning, ' Itadakimasu, mirchi. Vada pav meri jaan. Mumbai ki shaan,' and also asks the viewers to share this reel with their Mumbaikar friends.
'1 Day (Vs sticker) 1 Year in India | Vada Pav,' read his caption, revealing his change of taste about vada pav.

BTS' Jimin Is Really Killin' It With His Moves In New Dance Reel

Last Updated: This comes nearly two weeks after Jimin was discharged from the military on June 12, following the completion of his mandatory service. ARMYs are elated today. Why? Because BTS' Park Jimin just shared a video of him dancing, that too on J-Hope's recently released song Killin' It Girl. This comes nearly two weeks after he was discharged from the military on June 12, following the completion of his mandatory service. He was relieved from his duties alongside his teammate Jungkook. The duo had enlisted together under the military buddy program. Taking to his Instagram account on Tuesday, June 24, Jimin surprised his fans with an impromptu dance video. Dressed in a laidback outfit comprising an oversized t-shirt and relaxed fit pants paired with a bucket hat, the BTS star was seen nailing the steps of Killin' It Girl. Despite being away from dance practices, Jimin proved that he is still very efficient in what he does best. Towards the end of the clip, he even started laughing while looking at someone behind the camera, seemingly hinting that Jungkook was also with him. In the caption, Jimin simply wrote, '#jhope_killinitgirl #jhope #ji̇mi̇n #jk." Within just minutes of posting the video, it went viral, raking up more than 7 million views in the first hour. The dance reel also popped up on J-Hope's Instagram feed, who, without wasting any time, praised Jimin. In the comment section, the 31-year-old BTS rapper and dancer wrote, 'What the hell!!!!" followed by two shock face emoticons and in another, he dropped a series of fire emojis. It was the last single in his series of solo songs, which he began releasing in February. Previously, he dropped the tracks Sweet Dreams, feat. Miguel and Mona Lisa. Speaking of Jimin, the 29-year-old singer and songwriter has not shared any details regarding his projects post-military discharge. However, he did interact with ARMYs through a Weverse broadcast with Jungkook. During the broadcast, Jimin revealed that he had gained nearly 10 kilograms while serving in the 5th Infantry Division. He admitted, 'I've been on a diet but gained 10 kilograms in the military," and shared that even morning workouts did not help him reduce his weight, which he initially thought was swelling. As for his work front, Jimin released his second album Muse in July 2024 while he was still in the military. First Published:
