Actor Tamannaah Bhatia recently responded to reports claiming she supported Deepika Padukone amid the ongoing row with filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga. A throwback meme shared by Deepika's fans in her support had also been liked by Tamannaah. The Odela 2 actor later shared a video to address the concerns surrounding the matter.
Tamannaah posted a video of herself in a white robe on her Instagram story and captioned it, "Can Instagram pls figure out how it likes pages on its own because random people are making this news and I really have work to do."
She hinted at the Instagram algorithm automatically liking the post without her having any intention to do so. Tamannaah Bhatia clarified about liking a meme supporting Deepika Padukone in her Instagram story. (Picture Credit: Instagram/tamannaahspeaks)
A fan shared an old video of Deepika from 'Chhapaak' promotions in 2020. In the clip, the actor responded to a misogynist comment. Social Media users noticed Tamannaah's like on the post and perceived it as support for Deepika. Tamannaah Bhatia alleged that the post supporting Deepika Padukone was liked by her handle due to algorithm glitch.
For the unversed, a controversy erupted when Vanga shared a cryptic post without naming Deepika Padukone after announcing Triptii Dimri as the female lead for 'Spirit.' Earlier, it was reported that Deepika had opted out of the film due to issues with her remuneration as well as demand for an eight-hour work schedule.
However, later the Spirit director blamed 'cheap PR tactics' for leaking out the story of the film. A report by Pinkvilla stated that the real reason behind Deepika's exit was because it was an R-rated film. Vanga called out the reports as an attempt to sabotage his film and 'putting down a younger actor.'
Deepika did not directly respond to Vanga's statement but spoke about dealing with 'difficult situations,' in an interview with Vogue. She said, "I think what keeps me balanced is just being truthful, being authentic. And whenever I am faced with, say, complicated situations or difficult situations, to be able to listen to my inner voice and just make decisions, stand by decisions that really give me peace. That is when I feel most in equilibrium."
'Spirit' is an upcoming Telugu action-drama film with Prabhas in the lead role.

Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday-Starrer ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri' To Release On THIS Date

Mumbai: The makers of upcoming film 'Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri', which features Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, have locked its release date. The film is set to arrive in cinemas on February 13, 2026. Bollywood multi-hyphenate, Karan Johar, the producer of the film took to his Instagram on Monday, and announced the release date of the film. He shared a picture on his Instagram, which shows Kartik and Ananya sharing a kiss behind an Indian passport. KJo wrote in the caption, 'Signed, sealed & delivering hamaari Ray ki Rumi! @kartikaaryan @ananyapanday #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri - in cinemas next Valentine's : 13th Feb, 2026'. The film marks the second collaboration between the lead pair after 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' which was released in 2019. It also settles the dust between Kartik and KJo's Dharma Productions as the two buried the hatchets after Kartik was unceremoniously ousted from Dharma's 'Dostana 2'. 'Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri' marks a new chapter between KJo and Kartik. Things certainly have changed with time though. While Kartik rose up the ranks of the star ladder during and after the pandemic, KJo suffered a dent in his power, as he had to sell 50% of his stakes to Adar Poonawalla, the CEO of the Serum Institute of India. Serum Institute of India has designed the Covishield vaccine, which became one of India's prime weapons against the spread of Covid-19 contagion. Earlier, Kartik Aaryan won the IIFA for Best Actor (Male) for his work in the superhit horror-comedy franchise 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. His heartfelt acceptance speech resonated with the audience as he reflected on the challenges and triumphs that shaped his career, particularly his journey with the 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' franchise.
