Two men have been charged in a Leamington bike theft, dating back to June.
Last month, OPP launched a 'bait bicycle' initiative, looking to address bike thefts in the municipality. The initiative saw a bike placed and arresting anyone who attempted to take it, according to police.
As a result, two men have been charged.
A 33-year-old Leamington man is facing charges for theft under $5,000, mischief under $5,000, and possession of break-in instruments.
A 51-year-old Leamington man is facing charges for theft under $5,000, theft under $5,000 – shoplifting, mischief under $5,000, or possession of break-in instruments.

Keswick RCMP are looking for 27-year-old Clifford Sacobie. (Source: RCMP) A 27-year-old man who was wanted by police in New Brunswick appeared in Fredericton provincial court Wednesday. Clifford Sacobie, from Kingsclear First Nation, was wanted in connection to several incidents in the community. Sacobie has been charged with: possession of an imitation weapon for the purpose of committing an offence assault willfully killing an animal without lawful excuse He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to reappear in court on Tuesday.
