Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones admits Philadelphia Eagles have an edge because of their tush push play
NFL needed 24 votes to approve the Tush Push ban. But what did they get? 22 votes! Two votes short of shoving the Tush Push into the shelf. The Green Bay Packers wanted it out. Philadelphia Eagles wanted it to stay because they didn't think it was fair to ban their iconic tush push play! Nevertheless, the NFL fell short of the 75% requirement needed to shove it into the shelf.

Some undoubtedly wanted it, and some vehemently opposed it. But most NFL teams were confused. So was Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. He verbalized it out loud what others couldn't dare - 'Am I really against the Tush Push, or just don't want Philadelphia to have an edge?'
Jerry Jones says any play that's out of the ordinary gets some extra scrutiny
Tush Push play gets extra footage because players line up in one straight line, keep their quarterback protected, and somehow manage to surge forward like a herd of sheep that's just found a gap in the fence.
Once they create that gap, they move the quarterback ahead of them, allowing him to score a touchdown! This play is unquestionably out of the ordinary.
Jerry Jones shared with Pro Football Talk, 'Any play that's out of the ordinary gets some extra scrutiny just because of the competition in there. Here we are - the world champion is the main focus of the tush push, and here we are debating it and having to decide. I thought, am I really against the tush push, or just don't want Philadelphia to have an edge? I don't know.
I just flip-flop.'
Philadelphia Eagles shared a photo of a failed tush push play against the Green Bay Packers to exercise their happiness
Adding fuel to the fire! The Green Bay Packers did not want it. But they had stopped the Eagles' tush push play in one of the former matches. On May 21, the Eagles won the tush push play. How did the Eagles add fuel to the fire? They posted an X(formerly Twitter) picture of their failed tush push play against the Green Bay Packers! The unrestrained Eagles captioned it: Push On.
Fans express their thoughts in different ways:
'Jalen Hurts doesn't have to go play in China now.

His career was saved.'
'NFL always helping the eagles smh'
'WAIT THEY DIDNT BAN IT ?'
'And GB stops it better than any other team 😂🤡🫵'
'Run it 18 times vs the packers'
'Careful… They might push back'
'Lions going to use it to win big in Philly'
'Run the score up on them next season'
'Your qb (RB) career is now saved cause that's the only thing he's productive in'
'Packers stopped that play tho 😂😂😂😂😂' - An X user commented on the photo shared by the official X account of Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles had shared a clip of Eagles versus the Green Bay Packers with a tagline: Push On.
'I hope the Eagles run the Tush Push every play in Green Bay this year. Go Birds! #FlyEaglesFly'

NFL insider says Saquon Barkley may surpass his record-breaking 2024 season under new Eagles offensive coordinator in 2025
Saquon Barkley's 2025 prospects (Image credit: Imagn Images) Saquon Barkley is entering the 2025 NFL season with momentum, motivation, and a mission. After a record-breaking 2024 that saw him rush for 2,005 yards and 13 touchdowns, the Philadelphia Eagles star isn't just running it back, he's gearing up to level up. Saquon Barkley is more than a running back—he's the Eagles' offensive engine More than just a dual-threat back, Saquon Barkley has become the centerpiece of an offense that's as dynamic as it is dangerous. With the Eagles chasing a second straight Super Bowl title, NFL insiders believe Barkley could play an even larger role this year. ESPN's Jeff Darlington put it best, "The other component that could add to it is if teams do somehow decide to figure out... to stop the tush push, you could actually see Saquon's touchdown total go up even higher," Darlington said. "So, to me, I know it sounds crazy but I don't necessarily know that we've seen Saquon's ceiling." That quote says it all. Barkley, already at the peak of his powers, might still have room to grow, especially if the Eagles are forced to adapt their short-yardage game plan. If the controversial "tush push" quarterback sneak is neutralized by defenses, it opens the door for Barkley to dominate goal-line carries. That would significantly increase his red zone volume, making him an even bigger fantasy football RB1 and a prime MVP contender in 2025. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Memperdagangkan CFD Emas dengan salah satu spread terendah? His value to the Eagles goes beyond stats—he's a locker room leader and the heartbeat of their run-first strategy. Now the face of Madden NFL 26, Barkley has officially joined the NFL's most marketable elite. While some fans worry about the infamous 'Madden curse,' Barkley appears unfazed and laser-focused on the Eagles' mission to repeat as Super Bowl champions. Is Travis Kelce done with football? Hollywood move sparks rumors of secret retirement plan
Travis Kelce is strategically positioning himself for a post-NFL career in Hollywood (Getty Images) Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce appears to be seriously paving the way for a post-football career, and it's not just through endorsements or podcasting — he's heading straight for Hollywood. With retirement discussions intensifying, Kelce is aligning his off-field presence with opportunities that suggest he's gearing up for a full pivot into entertainment. From Super Bowl Sundays to silver screen stardom: Travis Kelce prepares for life after football Travis Kelce's first major acting role will come in the highly anticipated Happy Gilmore 2, starring Adam Sandler. Sandler himself had high praise for the tight end: 'We have a nice something for Travis... What a big handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. He's a stud, and he's so funny.' This isn't Kelce's first brush with TV — he previously appeared in FX's horror series Grotesquerie and the 2020 sci-fi comedy Moonbase 8. But this upcoming film marks his cinematic debut, and one that could launch him into a new stratosphere of stardom. Podcasting power moves and a strategic agency shift signal serious career planning Kelce and his brother Jason recently inked a massive $100 million deal with Amazon for their New Heights podcast, which has become a cultural phenomenon. The podcast not only expanded their fanbase but also cemented the Kelce brothers as media personalities beyond football. Behind the scenes, Kelce's management team, A&A Management, was acquired by entertainment powerhouse 3 Arts Entertainment — a move that aligns with long-term plans to transition smoothly into film and TV. The Eanes brothers, who represent Kelce, have drawn comparisons between him and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, noting Kelce's rare mix of charisma, athleticism, and on-screen potential. It's a bold comparison, but not an unreasonable one. The NFL star's personality, already beloved by fans, seems tailor-made for the screen. Despite rising fame, Travis Kelce insists he's not done with football — yet Though Kelce remains under contract with the Chiefs through 2027, he has openly acknowledged that the end of his NFL career is approaching. After the team fell short of a Super Bowl three-peat, many speculated that Kelce might hang up his cleats. However, he confirmed that he would return for at least one more season. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes quickly shut down any talk of Kelce coasting to retirement: 'The way he's talking about football… he doesn't seem like a guy on his last ride.' Kelce's path forward seems clear — dominate on the field for one last run, then take on Hollywood full force.
