Deepika Padukone posted the message "Gratitude" on her Instagram Story. When the actress's name was revealed in the Motion Pictures category, her Indian fans couldn't stop melting. Have a view of the story:
In order to avoid losing her position for two years, Deepika Padukone now has two years to plan the installation and unveiling ceremony of her star.
"The recipient has up to two years to schedule their ceremony," the official website of the Hollywood Walk of Fame states. "If it is not done within the two-year period, it will expire, and an application must be resubmitted," the website says.
The Walk of Fame, which is situated on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, currently has over 2,700 stars. Each year, about 300 applications are received. Approximately thirty celebrities are selected from this list.
The application fee is $275 per application (per submission every two years), which is approximately equivalent to Rs 23,530.
Celebrities or their sponsors must pay a substantial sum for the star's installation in addition to the application fee. A sponsorship fee of $85,000 is required upon selection, according to the official website. The cost of the fee covers both the Walk of Fame's upkeep and the production and placement of the star.

The price is subject to change. Converted, the sum is almost Rs 73 lakh. Although it's unclear if Deepika Padukone paid for the star herself or if someone else sponsored her, it's clear that the star has come at an expensive cost.
Regarding her career, Deepika Padukone's next project is the upcoming movie Atlee. Deepika will play Allu Arjun's opposite in the movie. Rumor has it that Deepika will appear in King, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. But there hasn't been a formal announcement yet.
