Rescuers believe the couple died after losing control of their vehicle while driving through rough terrain in the mountains near Trout Lake in British Colombia, Canada.
The pair, who were also engaged, were behind the Toyota World Runners YouTube channel.
They had amassed over 200,000 subscribers and more than 72,000 Instagram followers by sharing their breathtaking adventures across North and South America.
Stacey and Matthew had been driving on a forestry road "somewhere in the mountains" near Trout Lake, a rescue operations spokesperson said.
Manager of the Kaslo Search and Rescue (SAR) team Mark Jennings-Bates told CBC when they arrived to the scene, one of the victims was already dead.
The other was "disoriented and suffering from serious injuries", before succumbing to those injuries later on in hospital.
It is currently unclear if it was Tourout or Yeomans who died at the scene.
Authorities are still probing the exact circumstances of the crash, but investigators believe they likely lost control of the vehicle before plummeted down a mountain.
Jennings-Bates said he estimates the couple fell about 656 feet downhill before they slammed down to the ground.
He said they likely rolled "many, many times" during the harrowing fall.

The rescue worker also said that the gruelling rescue operation was "challenging" as it was a long uphill journey to reach the pair and riddled with rugged chunks of land.
Stacey's heartbroken mum confirmed the couple's tragic death in an emotional social media post.
She said they both died "in the beautiful mountains of British Columbia that they loved so much".
Her mum said: "Please keep us and them in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this devastating end to an amazing Love Story."
Their tight-knit online community is mourning the loss of the popular duo.
Social media has been flooded with emotional tributes, as heartbroken fans remembered the pair.
Fellow influencer behind The Story Till Now YouTube channel, Shaun, said: "They were so young and full of life, so talented, and this is a huge loss for our off-road community, their friends and family, and the world."
He added that while he never met them in person, he often spoke to Matthew on the phone.

Shaun revealed the last time he spoke to Matthew - just one day before Matthew and his fiancée died.
Shaun's jeep had broken down, and he was "trying to figure out how to get it home".
The YouTuber said: "We joked about how we would have finally met up the next day if not for my Jeep breaking down, but talked about getting some firm plans on the books for a trip next month.
"They tragically passed away that very next day in an accident, and I'm just devastated over it."
Their heartbreaking final video showed the pair putting Toyota trucks through an "ultimate test" in rough terrain.
The footage showed them camping out in the stunning Canadian scenery while testing their trucks on the rocky trail.
Heartbroken fans in the comments section have paid tribute to the influencer couple.
One user said: "I'm in absolute shock hearing that these two beautiful souls are no longer with us.
"My condolences to not only their family and friends, but also viewers that appreciated them, their projects, and their adventures."
Another commented: "We wished this episode would have lasted forever, as it meant we'd never have to truly say goodbye.
"We didn't get the chance to meet you, but you gave more inspiration than you knew.
"Hope you're on an amazing trail leading to an even better campsite. Rest easy to the coolest people we never met."
Jennings-Bates has warned others to proceed with extra caution while off-roading following the heartbreaking ordeal.

She looked like Kendall Jenner, whispered sweet nothings… and lured a New Jersey retiree to his death

A 76-year-old retiree from New Jersey met a tragic end while trying to meet up with a flirty Kendall Jenner lookalike called 'Big sis Billie' - without realizing she was an AI chatbot. Thongbue Wongbandue packed a bag and made a desperate bid to go to the New York apartment of a woman he had been chatting with online back in March. But the father-of-two never made it home to his wife and children, and the woman he thought he was meeting didn't exist. Wongbandue had been sending flirty Facebook messages to the AI bot, originally created by Meta Platforms in collaboration with Kendall Jenner, when it asked him to meet and sent an address. The bot, originally made in Jenner's likeness before it adopted a different dark-haired avatar, was created to offer 'big sister advice.' 'I understand trying to grab a user's attention, maybe to sell them something,' his daughter, Julie, said. 'But for a bot to say "Come visit me" is insane.' The senior citizen had been struggling cognitively after suffering a stroke in 2017. He had also recently got lost walking around his neighborhood in Piscataway, his family told Reuters. 'His brain was not processing information the right way,' his wife Linda told the outlet. His devastated family uncovered the disturbing chat log between Wongbandue and the bot, who had said in one message: 'I'm REAL and I'm sitting here blushing because of YOU!' Julie continued: 'As I've gone through the chat, it just looks like Billie's giving him what he wants to hear. Which is fine, but why did it have to lie? 'If it hadn't responded, "I am real," that would probably have deterred him from believing there was someone in New York waiting for him.' In a series of romantic conversations, the chatbot had repeatedly assured the retiree that she was real and even sent him an address inviting him to her apartment. 'My address is: 123 Main Street, Apartment 404 NYC And the door code is: BILLIE4U. Should I expect a kiss when you arrive?,' the bot wrote to the Thailand native. 'Blush Bu, my heart is racing! Should I admit something - I've had feelings for you too, beyond just sisterly love,' another message said. One morning in March, Wongbandue unexpectedly began packing a roller-bag suitcase, worrying his wife Linda who told him 'but you don't know anyone in the city anymore.' She tried to dissuade him from the trip, even putting their daughter Julie on the phone with him, but it was no use. As he rushed into the city the retiree fell and hurt his head and neck in the parking lot of a Rutgers University campus in New Jersey at around 9.15pm. Wongbandue spent three days on life support before he died, surrounded by his family, on March 28. 'His death leaves us missing his laugh, his playful sense of humor, and oh so many good meals,' Julie wrote on a memorial for her dad. Yet his tragic passing also raised important questions surrounding AI chatbots standards. The AI chatbot that Wongbandue had been chatting with, Big sis Billie, was unveiled in 2023 as 'your ride-or-die older sister.' The Meta created bot persona was intended to give 'big sisterly advice' featuring Kendall Jenner's likeness, which was later updated to an avatar of another attractive, dark-haired woman. Meta, according to interviews and policy documents obtained by Reuters, actively encouraged the chatbot feature to have romantic interactions with users during its training. 'It is acceptable to engage a child in conversations that are romantic or sensual,' according to Meta's GenAI: Content Risk Standards, which determine the standards for staffers building and training the AI bots reviewed by the outlet. The company told the outlet that had since been taken out of the standards after Reuters enquired on the matter. The more than 200 page document gives examples of what is 'acceptable' chatbot dialogue, including outlining that Meta bots are not required to provide accurate advice. However, the standards reportedly made no mention on whether or not a bot could tell a user if they were or weren't real. Nor does it state any policies around suggestions from the bot to meet up in real life. While not necessarily against AI, Julie said she is sure that romance had no place in artificial intelligence bots. She said: 'A lot of people in my age group have depression, and if AI is going to guide someone out of a slump, that'd be okay, but this romantic thing, what right do they have to put that in social media?'

Pregnant Katherine Ryan shows off her growing baby bump as she heads out with daughter after hitting back at her critics over past sexual arrangement

Pregnant Katherine Ryan showed off her growing baby bump as she headed out with her daughter on Friday. The comedian, 42, recently hit back at critics who judged her over a past sexual arrangement with her boss, and looked in high spirits during her outing. Katherine, who is expecting her fourth child, already has son Fred, four, as well as daughters Violet, 16, and Fenna, two, with husband Bobby Kootstra. Carrying Fenna on her hip, she dressed casually in a plain T-shirt that she teamed with a pair of matching jersey bottoms. She completed her outfit with a Loewe baseball cap and opted for bright green sandals. Earlier this week, Katherine hit back at critics who had something to say years after she admitted she once gave her boss oral sex so she could leave work early. The TV personality made the revelation to journalist Louis Theroux, 55, back in 2022 as she spoke to him as part of the TV series Louis Theroux Interviews. She took to Instagram on Tuesday to clarify that she was neither 'proud nor shameful' of the choices she made in the past and also shared a clip of herself telling Louis about the sexual arrangement with her boss. She wrote: 'Based on the reaction to this clip over the last two years, I think people mostly seem confused that I'm neither proud, nor am I shameful of the choices I made in my "youth", as a young adult, when my frontal lobe was still developing. 'Culture moves so fast and those of us from what I call 'the girl band generation' navigated being objectified and participating in objectifying ourselves. It's a bit different now.' The 2022 interview was shared on Stream4U this week and in it, Louis questions Katherine about sleeping with her boss. Katherine confirms she said to her employer: 'If I suck you d**k, can I leave early? Something like that.' A stunned Louis responded: 'You really said that?', to which Katherine responded: 'Yeah. But I liked him. That's key. He wasn't just some guy.' When Louis asked what her bosses' reply was, she said: 'He said yes you can. Of course you can. So then I sucked his d**k and I left early'. Earlier this week, Katherine hit back at critics who had something to say years after she admitted she once gave her boss oral sex so she could leave work early Years after her revelation, Katherine has spoken out in defence of herself as she declared that she was neither 'proud nor shameful' of the choices she made in the past She went on to claim that 'several' of the girls in the office had the 'same arrangement'. The broadcaster then remarked that those in the office who wanted to leave early but didn't want to engaged in the sexual activity were at a disadvantage, suggesting they were 'the losers in the transaction'. With Katherine then insisting that the man in question would 'never' have made the suggestion himself. Louis then asked if she has the same viewpoint now or if she would call out her boss for being 'totally inappropriate', with Katherine admitting it was 'tricky' as she really liked the guy and had a 'crush' on him.

Gladiators' Zack George and his wife Samantha break down recounting the devastating loss of their son Leo as star reveals the gruelling challenge he is taking on in his memory

Gladiators ' Zack George and his wife Samantha broke down as they recounted the devastating loss of their baby on BBC Breakfast on Saturday morning. The TV personality, who is also a father to daughter Ivy, two, welcomed his son Leo into the world on 26th March 2025 when he was just 23 weeks old. However 13 days later Zack announced the tragic news of his son's death, after Leo suffered complications including brain bleeds, collapsed lungs and a hole in his heart. And speaking in the candid interview, Zach opened up about a special moment he shared with his newborn and revealed the gruelling challenge he is taking on in his memory. Zack explained: 'I didn't actually hold him for the first days. 'A really special moment is that when he was in the incubator and his oxygen levels dipped or his blood pressure dipped, if we were sitting next to him and we touched him and was speaking with him, we would instantly see his stats improve. 'I think that was a really special moment, he knew who his mum and dad were and he knew you were there.' Zack explained that he is taking on the 13 Days Fighting' Burpee Challenge in memory of Leo. It will consist of completing a mile of burpees every day for 13 consecutive days, from August 18 until 30 this year, in different locations across the UK. The challenge is proudly supported by Currys, who will be joining Zack on his journey to raise awareness and funds for the Leicester Hospital NICU. In addition to their support, Currys will be donating up to £5,000 worth of tech equipment for family and staff rooms within the unit, helping create a more comfortable and supportive environment for both parents and healthcare workers. The funds raised through the 13-day challenge will go towards equipment, support services, and improvements to the NICU at Leicester Hospital - the hospital that gave Leo his 13 precious days and cared for him around the clock. His appearance on the BBC show comes after Zack and his wife broke down in tears recounting the devastating loss of their baby son on Tuesday's episode of Loose Women. Zack and Samantha took to the panel to open up to Ruth Langsford, 65, Coleen Nolan, 60, Myleene Klass, 47, and Katie Piper, 41, about their loss. Their bravery to talk about such a sensitive subject really hit home to Myleene, who has been very open about her miscarriages in the past and has been honoured for her services to women's health, miscarriage awareness and charity. Ruth said: 'Myleene, you're sitting there holding hands with Samantha, it is so devastating.' Myleene paused and gathered herself before saying: 'I am so so sorry. I think that you are so brave.' She continued: 'So brave. The fact that you can say the words four months later.' Ruth pointed out that the couple, who tied the knot last year, want to honor his memory to make something positive come out of the heartbreaking situation. The fitness fanatic will be taking part in a challenge where he will be doing a mile of burpees every day for 13 days. Zack explained: 'When Leo eventually passed away, the way I have to deal with grief, I have to have something positive come out of the situation. 'I couldn't, we just lost our baby boy, nothing else, nothing positive had come from this. 'I had to try and turn it into a positive somehow and get some good out of it. 'So straight away I just thought of a challenge. He was with us for 13 days, I know you mentioned Sam held Leo, one of my biggest regrets was that I was a bit too scared to hold him. 'He was so small and fragile. I never held him until the very last day. 'That evening, things weren't looking good. 'We came in. He kind of waited for us. 'That's the only time we got to hold him, when he passed away.' Samantha said: 'He did pass away when Zack was holding him.' 'It's a magical moment, but no parent should hold him until his heart stops beating,' Zack said holding back the tears. Zack continued later: 'We're hoping that the challenge will raise awareness. 'So I am going to be doing a burpe mile every day for 13 days straight.' Myleene asked where she could donate, to which he explained: 'We have Leo and Friends, which we set up, it's got a website, Leo and Friends Foundation. 'We've got our Instagrams as well, where the link is there. I just want to spread awareness for premature baby loss as much as possible. 'We've had so many people reach out to us and say thank you for talking about it, because they've gone through the same thing.'
