Robert Irwin posts sweet tribute to sister Bindi Irwin after major surgery: 'Crippling'
Robert Irwin has shared a sweet tribute to his sister Bindi Irwin after she revealed earlier this month that she had been forced to have surgery to remove her appendix and 14 lesions as a result of her endometriosis. Doctors also needed to repair a hernia that she acquired during childbirth four years ago.
Bindi pulled out of the Steve Irwin Gala in Las Vegas for the surgery, leaving Robert to host the event solo. It comes after the Wildlife Warrior had 37 endometriosis lesions and a cyst removed two years ago.
Taking to Instagram, Robert shared a photo of himself and Bindi wearing their khaki Australia Zoo uniforms. He wrote, "Happy to see you on the up and up, Bindi. You face every hurdle head on, take it in your stride and inspire us."
Bindi commented on the post, "One day at a time. Tremendously grateful for your support. You're the best."

"We're a good team!" their mum, Terri Irwin, also wrote.
Many of the Irwin family's fans also commented on the post, with one user writing, "You know parents have done a good job when siblings show love for each other."
"I just love your relationship," another added. "I'm also really close with my sister. It's an amazing thing, having a sibling as a BFF."
"Bindi, as someone who is fighting endometriosis as well, thank you for being the light in the dark tunnel of madness," a third said.
"They don't call her a warrior for nothing," another said.
On the same day as the Steve Irwin Gala, Bindi revealed she underwent surgery. She shared a video and a lengthy statement on Instagram, which read: "I am so thankful that I got the help I needed with Dr. Seckin and Dr. Chu at Lenox Hill Hospital. After having a grumbly appendix, I finally had to seek help the day of our Steve Irwin Gala in Las Vegas.
"I consulted with Dr. Seckin, and we agreed that if I flew to New York, he could also check for endometriosis again. Surgery was a success. My appendix was removed, along with another 14 lesions (after having 37 endometriosis lesions and a cyst removed two years ago). I also had a repair to a large hernia I acquired through childbirth four years ago."

She continued, "Thankfully, I am on the road to recovery. I appreciate all the kind messages I've received, and the support for our Gala in Las Vegas. Credit to Robert for hosting the evening, he did such an incredible job raising funds and awareness for Wildlife Warriors.
"And thanks to my family for always being there for me. I have so much love for dear Chandler & sweet Grace. Thank you to Mum for being there with me every step of the way. And rest assured, I'll see you at the next Steve Irwin Gala in Brisbane this November. One day at a time. Time to heal now. Sending my love to you all."
Her followers shared their support, with one person writing, "To raise awareness even in these tough moments is just so incredible. Heal well Bindi! We're all cheering you on."
"14 lesions after only 2 years?!" another said. "And they wonder why women with endo are in such pain! Glad you are on the mend, and thank you for using your platform to highlight such a blindspot in women's health."

Some also shared that Bindi sharing her endometriosis diagnosis with the world is what helped them find out they also had it, with one woman writing, "Bindi, you are the reason I learned about endometriosis and was able to get diagnosed last year after years of terrible pain. You have made such a major difference in my life. Endo sucks and nobody should have to go through it, you're such a valuable advocate for us as you share your journey with the world."

In response, Bindi shared another post, which read: "Healing. Thank you for your incredible words of support and kindness. The reason I share my health journey is because more girls and women desperately need answers to their undiagnosed pain. I've battled with endometriosis for more than 12 years.
"This disease is crippling and can make you feel incredibly isolated. We need to raise awareness and change the narrative for women's health. I see you, your pain is real, and you deserve answers and genuine health care."

Pop singer Jessie J says she has been diagnosed with early breast cancer
NEW YORK (AP) — The English pop singer Jessie J says she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will undergo surgery after her performance at the London music festival Capital's Summertime Ball next weekend. Jessie J, 37, shared the news in an Instagram video on Wednesday. 'I was diagnosed with early breast cancer,' she said in the clip. 'Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding onto the word 'early'.' 'It's a very dramatic way to get a boob job. I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with massive (expletive) and more music.' The annual Summertime Ball will be held at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, June 15. She told her social media audience that she felt compelled to share her diagnosis. 'I just wanted to be open and share it,' she said. 'One, because, selfishly, I do not talk about it enough. I'm not processing it because I'm working so hard. I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories. I'm an open book. It breaks my heart that so many people are going through so much similar and worse – that's the bit that kills me.' The Grammy-nominated Jessie J has long been celebrated for her robust soprano and R&B-informed pop hits, like the 2014 collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande, 'Bang Bang,' and 2011's 'Domino.' She has released five albums across her career, most recently, 2018's Christmas album, 'This Christmas Day.' She has been releasing new music in 2025, including the singles 'Living My Best Life' and 'No Secrets.' A new album is expected later this year. She has a son, Sky Safir Cornish Colman, born in 2023. A representative for Jessie J did not immediately respond to The Associated Press' request for comment.

Kendrick Lamar Beats His Own Historic Record
Kendrick Lamar and SZA's 'Luther' breaks an all-time Billboard record with 23 weeks at No. 1 on the ... More Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Kendrick Lamar at Life Is Beautiful 2023 on September 23, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by Christopher Polk/Billboard via Getty Images) Earlier this year, Kendrick Lamar broke the all-time record for the most weeks spent at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The rapper had long stood out as one of the most inventive and commercially successful names in the genre, but he reached new heights with "Not Like Us." The track, which officially ended his feud with Drake — at least in terms of the two musicians releasing songs aimed at one another — has propelled Lamar into even more elite territory. Just months after he made Billboard history with what may be regarded as his most popular cut ever, Lamar has bested his own record, proving himself to truly be in a league all his own. "Luther" leads the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs ranking again this frame. The tune has dominated the tally — which highlights the most consumed tracks in the hip-hop, R&B, and rap styles — for 23 of the 27 weeks it has appeared on the roster. That figure now stands as the most weeks any track has lived at No. 1. Last week, "Luther" tied "Not Like Us" as the longest-reigning champion in the history of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs tally. "Not Like Us" has now been pushed to second place on this historic ranking. That tune only reset this best showing earlier in 2025, though it first reached the summit in 2024. Lamar now claims the two longest-running leaders ever on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, but he's not alone in this latest feat. "Luther" features SZA, who for a while owned this record solo as well. Her smash "Kill Bill" reigned for 21 weeks at No. 1 between 2022 and 2023, and for a time, that stood as the most impressive run in the ranking's history. Thanks to "Luther," SZA is now responsible for two of the three longest-running smashes on the chart. "Luther" recently fell from the top spot on the Hot 100, where it reigned for months, but it's still living inside the top five. The collaboration is also in charge of half a dozen tallies in the U.S., and it remains inside the top 10 on at least 16 rankings. It seems likely to hold on for quite some time, as the cut is still performing exceptionally well on streaming sites and via radio.

Sydney Sweeney Is Back in Her Most Ladylike Fashion
Through fall and winter, Sydney Sweeney cultivated her elegant, sophisticated femme fashion with stylist Molly Dickson. Think big Afghan coats and leathers via Ferragamo, Miu Miu knits and Tory Burch dresses, red carpet moments with show-stopping Wiederhoeft corset dresses. In that transitional phase between springtime showers and summer heat, Sweeney is delighting in more ladylike looks. The Euphoria actor stepped out in Midtown, New York, looking to the classic British, heritage house codes of Burberry for her full and super feminine look: She wore a beige trench coat dress with a caped front, cinched waist, and flippy flared skirt, and paired that with Burberry check open-toed sandals and an olive-colored Knight Arc bag. Sweeney topped it off with dark angular sunglasses, and her blonde hair in loose, blown out curls. Sweeney's personal style oscillates from the hyper-feminine and cozy to the sensual and sexy (toting one of her dogs as an accessory, oftentimes), but in recent times, sightings of her have been mostly on the red carpet. For the 2025 Met Gala, she opted for shimmering black Miu Miu gown that paid homage to Kim Novak, the classic American screen star she's set to play in the forthcoming biopic Scandalous, directed by Colman Domingo. It's been a big working year for Sydney Sweeney. As well as finishing up filming on the third season of Euphoria, she wrapped the biopic on boxing legend Christy Martin where she also has the starring role. As she continues to get into the Kim Novak state of mind, expect more classic starlet modes of dressing from Sweeney.
