The announcement came during the first anniversary event of the Facebook group 'Adab Arz Lucknow' at Halwasiya Court in Hazratganj.
Kirti, deputy director of the publicity and travel trade department, said the initiative aims to support heritage conservation while promoting tourism. She also noted that traditional dishes from the region may qualify for up to Rs 5 lakh in funding under a related scheme.
Group founder Iffat Ara shared her personal connection to the city, stating, "Wherever I go, I carry Lucknow with me."
She said the group seeks to revive the etiquettes and practices once common in Lucknow.
Chief guest Sudhir Shankar Halwasiya highlighted changes in the city's infrastructure, including improvements in airport facilities and cleanliness rankings. "Earlier, people here wanted our airport to be like those abroad. Now, foreigners admire ours," he said. Murli Dhar Ahuja, another speaker at the event, reflected on changing social attitudes in the city. The programme also saw screening of two short films and a performance by Dr Anoop Anand, who sang "Koi Fariyaad".
Members recognized for their involvement included Prof. Sabra Habib, A.K. Srivastava, Manish Malhotra, Rekha Kumar, Neha Parveen, Imrana Azmat, and Dr Anoop Anand.

Coolie: Will Aamir Khan's cameo be enough to elevate Rajinikanth's Tamil gangster drama in Hindi?
Rajinikanth is gearing up for the release of Coolie, one of the biggest films of the year. The film has created a buzz among fans as it features the veteran mass hero in a new avatar. It has been dubbed in Hindi as Coolie The Powerhouse. This version will be released alongside the original Tamil version on August 14. Aamir Khan essays a key role in the gangster drama and many expect him to drive the film's business in Hindi. This, however, may not be the case. Coolie: A single star alone can't benefit the film, says trade analyst Aamir Khan has a cameo in Coolie and features prominently in the trailer. He is regarded as one of Bollywood's biggest names and recently gave strong proof of his star power with Sitaare Zameen Par, which grossed Rs 263 crore (approx) at the box office and emerged as a blockbuster. His popularity, however, may not be enough to compel the audience to watch Coolie in Hindi. Rohit Jaiswal, a trade analyst, told Indiatimes that it is 'irrelevant' to discuss Aamir's impact on Coolie's collections in Hindi as 'no single star' can determine the date of a film. 'The trailer was okay. Aamir is a star but ultimately we go to watch a film based on the content. If the content is good, Coolie will be a success. However, I don't see his involvement alone benefiting the business,' he said. Vettaiyan, Rajinikanth's previous release, too didn't find many takers in Hindi despite the fact that it featured Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in a key role. The action thriller collected just Rs 4.51 crore in Hindi and ended up as a flop. It remains to be seen whether Coolie, which is set to clash with War 2, does better than Vettaiyan on this front. About Coolie Coolie is a gangster drama directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It revolves around a former kingpin with an axe to grind with some old foes.
