Vince McMahon 'recklessly' crashed his $300K Bentley into BMW, police claim as ex-WWE boss faces citation
The 79-year-old wrestling promoter was cited for reckless driving and following too closely in the three-car collision, which took place on the Merritt Parkway (Route 15) in Westport, Connecticut.
Nobody was injured in the crash, but another driver claims she was 'lucky to have survived' after McMahon's Bentley crashed into her BWM 'going 80-90mph,' as she wrote on Facebook.
Barbara Doran claimed she was 'shot off the road after being catapulted over 100 yards,' and noted that McMahon's front wheels were 'sheered off and his airbags deployed, probably saving him from significant injury.'
'The trooper told me afterwards that McMahon saw me last minute and swerved, smashing into my left rear, but that if he had hit me full on, there might've been a very different ending for me,' Doran wrote.
McMahon, whose 2024 Bentley Continental GT Speed is valued around $300,000, managed to escape serious injury. Sadly, he'd receive tragic news later that day when it was revealed that wrestling legend Hulk Hogan suffered a fatal cardiac arrest in Florida.
'Oddly, Hulk Hogan, who made McMahon's fame and fortune, died about the same time as the accident,' Doran wrote on Facebook.
McMahon's attorneys have not responded to Daily Mail's request for comment.
As detailed in the crash report, Doran's car was driving northbound in the right lane of Merritt Parkway when she was rear ended by McMahon, who then collided with the guardrail. A car traveling in the opposite direction was damaged by flying debris from the northbound side of the highway.
McMahon was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is now scheduled to be in Stamford Superior Court on August 26.
This is not the first time McMahon crashed a Bentley near the WWE headquarters in Stamford. In 2017, TMZ reporter the former WWE boss was seen walking away from a minor collision at an intersection.
Doran said she was 'lucky to have survived' as she spoke of the incident in a Facebook post
The left side of McMahon's $300K Bentley was destroyed in the high-speed collision
McMahon stepped down as WWE CEO three years ago after it was revealed the company investigated allegations of sexual misconduct. Then in 2024, McMahon resigned as executive chairman of WWE parent company TKO Group holdings when a former employee, Janel Grant, sued him for sexual abuse.
That lawsuit remains pending and McMahon has denied the allegations.
The legendary promoter bought the World Wrestling Federation from his father more than four decades ago. Since then, the brand has changed to World Wrestling Entertainment, while becoming an international sensation with various properties continuously touring around the world.

Boy, 4, killed in bus crash just 5 days after ‘one in a million' aunty found dead at home as double tragedy rocks family
A FAMILY has been hit by a double tragedy with a four-year-old boy being killed by a bus just one week after his aunt suddenly died. "Sweet and funny" Jan was hit by a bus outside a hospital while visiting his gran, and sadly died from his injuries despite desperate attempts to save him. 7 7 7 He was struck down outside the A&E department of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother (QEQM) Hospital in Margate, Kent, at around 4pm on Thursday. Little Jan was the youngest of five siblings and his family are "beyond devastated". But his death also came just six days after his aunt "suddenly and unexpectedly" passed away. Jan's cousin Kyia, 32, told The Sun the family is "beyond broken" having lost a baby of the family in "another horrific way" so soon after her mum died. She said in a touching tribute: "I can't believe I'm even writing this. "He was just four-years-old, the youngest of five. His mum and four older siblings along with the family are beyond devastated. "Not only did I lose my mum six days ago, now but we have now lost one of our babies of the family in the most horrific of ways. "I have no words what is even happening to my family at this moment in time, it's unbearable." Kyia's mum Taz Green - who is the sister-in-law of Jan's mum - "suddenly and unexpectedly" died the day before turning 52. This was just two months after her gran passed away in yet another tragedy for the family. Taz, a mother-of-five, was discovered dead at her home in Ramsgate, Kent, by her teenage son on Sunday morning. Paramedics were called to Taz's address at roughly 11am. Despite their best efforts, the grandmother-of-one was pronounced dead at her home. Her family are now waiting on the results of an autopsy to uncover the circumstances surrounding Taz's tragic death. Taz leaves behind her husband Peter, her five children Kyia, Jack, Jay, Kian and Kaelen. Kyia said: "We are in such desperate need of our mum. "Mum was such a free spirited, life of the party kind of wonder woman - none of us ever thought she would not be here. "My mum loved horses and anyone who knows mum knew that and we would love to have my mum a horse drawn carriage because she was a queen and she deserves the very best send off. "We all feel helpless and I don't know what to do without her." 'I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED' A GoFundMe was set up by the Jan's mum to help pay for his funeral. It reads: "My name is Azaria, today on the 7th of August 2025, me and my family went to visit our mum at Margate hospital. "And my son who is only four-years-old fell under a bus and he died immediately. "I am so lost, he was my son, my most beautiful little Jan. I don't know what to do I can't believe you are gone from me. "I can't believe they couldn't save you, I can't believe this happened. "I didn't even get to tell you how much I love you. "Please if anyone can help us to make his burial as beautiful as he was please I will be so grateful. "Everyone is devastated, but that word doesn't feel like enough to explain how we are all feeling. "Our sweet funny boy with a cheeky smile that could make anyone's heart full. The smile that we can't see again. Can't hold him. Can't cuddle him. Can't hear him. Can't have him sleeping in my bed tonight. "But I can try to give him the best and most comfortable burial. My baby I wish you were in my bed tonight cuddling. I love you my boy." Cops have appealed for anyone with information to get in touch. A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Witnesses, CCTV and dashcam footage are sought by officers investigating a fatal collision in Margate. "Kent Police was called to Ramsgate Road shortly after 4pm on Thursday 7 August 2025 following a report of an incident involving a bus and a pedestrian outside Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother Hospital. "The bus, a white single decker vehicle, was travelling near the entrance to the A&E department. It is reported that the pedestrian, a four year old boy, left the hospital on foot and a collision took place. "The child was taken inside the hospital and a short while later was sadly confirmed deceased. His next of kin has been informed." The ambulance service said: "SECAmb were called at approx. 16:05 yesterday (07/08/25) to reports of a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian outside the QEQM Hospital in Margate. "Crews assessed and treated the pedestrian at the scene before being joined by The Air Ambulance Charity, Kent Surrey Sussex. "The patient was then taken into the nearby QEQM Hospital where it is understood they sadly died. Please contact Kent Police for more information." 7 7 7
