Karol G has revealed the full tracklist to her fifth studio album, Tropicoqueta, out this Friday (June 20).
'Intense chapters, unexpected twists, endearing characters. This is the official Track Listing for this new story of my life!' the Colombian star captioned her post revealing her new tunes. 'Each song has its own story. Each collaboration has its own reason.'

The 20-set album kicks off with 'La Reina Presenta' ('The Queen Presents') and wraps with the title track. The previously released 'Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido' and 'Latina Foreva' are part of the set. The former, a sweet merengue that Karol dropped last summer, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs, Latin Airplay and Tropical Airplay charts.
The tracklist reveals she reeled in key collaborators for Tropicoqueta, including Panamanian reggae plena artist Eddy Lover on 'Dile Luna'; Mexican crooner Marco Antonio Solís on 'Coleccionando Heridas'; Colombian pop star Greeicy on 'Amiga Mía'; French-Spanish reggae star Manu Chao on 'Viajando Por El Mundo'; and for a second collaborative effort, Mariah Angeliq on 'FKN Movie.'
Notably, track No. 13 is empty, but if fans search for 'Karol G' on Google, they will be led to a clue that hints it could be another collaboration with Feid, following their 2021 'FRIKI.' (Spoiler alert: The screen reads 'canción 13 feat. ????' accompanied by a green heart.)
Tropicoqueta is set to be a nostalgic and personal project on which La Bichota recently said she's 'going back to the roots, to the songs I grew up listening to, to the sounds that made me fall in love with music.'

Rosé Beats Jimin's All-Time Record With Her Biggest Solo Smash

Rosé's 'Apt.' with Bruno Mars becomes the longest-charting song by a K-pop act on the Hot 100, ... More hitting 34 weeks on the list and passing Jimin's previous record. BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 10: Rosé attends the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Hosted By Radhika Jones at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on March 10, 2024 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by) For many years, when it came to K-pop artists scoring huge hit singles in America, it was almost entirely groups that landed the biggest wins. Acts like BTS, Blackpink, Fifty Fifty, and others saw their tracks live on the Hot 100 for historically-long periods. But lately, it's soloists from some of those same outfits who have stolen the show. This week, a new record is established on Billboard's ranking of the most consumed songs in America, as one solo superstar bests another. Rosé's smash "Apt." now holds the distinction of being the longest-charting track by any K-pop artist in the history of the Hot 100. The Blackpink singer is originally from New Zealand, but she is best-known for her work in the K-pop space, including 'Apt.,' which is performed in both English and Korean. The tune, a collaboration with Bruno Mars — whose presence surely helped the cut not only become a high-rising win but also a sturdy one — has now spent 34 weeks on the competitive tally. As it reaches that landmark figure, Rosé breaks her tie with Jimin, whose solo single "Who" managed 33 turns on the same list. That stood as the all-time record for only a few months, after Jimin beat the previously-set high point established by BTS's own "Dynamite" by one frame. "Apt." holds at No. 24 on the Hot 100 this week in its thirty-fourth frame. Over the course of its run, it has climbed as high as No. 3, making history with that lofty peak position. Its current placement suggests that the smash will continue to find space on the Hot 100 for several more weeks. The collaboration could live on the list for another month or two, as it's still performing well across a variety of important metrics. 'Apt.' remains inside the top 10 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart and is living at No. 24 on both the Adult Contemporary and Radio Songs lists. It is still present inside the top 20 on the Digital Song Sales tally and just narrowly falls outside the top 40 on the Streaming Songs chart. The Hot 100 is compiled each week using streaming, sales, and radio data to show what tracks America is consuming. The fact that "Apt." is still present on all three of those individual consumption tallies shows just how popular it still is, and may lead to months more on the main songs ranking.

Get ready for a lot more AI slop invading your YouTube Shorts

Joe Hindy / Android Authority TL;DR Google plans to integrate Veo 3 into YouTube Shorts later this summer. Creators will be able to use the AI video generator to create clips. Despite competition from TikTok, YouTube Shorts is growing fast. According to YouTube CEO Neal Mohan, the format is now averaging over 200 billion views per day. In the coming months, Shorts will get an AI feature that could accelerate its growth even further. Mohan, who appeared at the 2025 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in celebration of YouTube's 20-year anniversary, revealed a change is coming to YouTube Shorts. While speaking about the power of AI tools, the executive announced that Veo 3 will be coming to Shorts later this summer. Veo 3 is Google's latest AI video generator, capable of creating admittedly impressive-looking video clips. The model was introduced last month during Google I/O 2025. YouTube already uses an older version of Veo for AI-generated backgrounds and snippets for Shorts. However, Veo 3 is a big upgrade that can generate eight seconds of video and audio from a simple text prompt. Given the brief nature of Shorts, Veo 3 seems like it could be a perfect match for the platform. At the same time, the tech could create a headache for Google if creators decide to abuse the tool by creating deepfakes of celebrities or disinformation. Concerning deepfakes, the company has tried to get ahead of potential problems by partnering with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and creators to develop a tool that will give high-profile individuals more control over their likeness. Meanwhile, YouTube recently loosened its content moderation policies, instructing reviewers not to remove content that breaks the rules if it's in the public interest. Got a tip? Talk to us!
