Tensions rife in Beckham feud as Brooklyn buys LA mansion
Brooklyn Beckham has officially bought a US mansion with his wife Nicola Peltz in a move that has been described as a 'dagger to the heart' for his parents after their relationship began to crumble earlier this year.
Beckham, 26, and Peltz, 30, closed on an illustrious US$14m (AU$21.7m) property in Hollywood last week after previously renting in the area.
The luxurious home boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a state-of-the-art home cinema, a gym, and an infinity pool.
The purchase represents a now permanent move to the US, with Beckham showing no sign of returning home anytime soon, a source revealed to The Sun.
'As an influencer he can work anywhere, but Brooklyn believes he has more opportunities in LA. It will be a dagger to the heart for his parents,' the insider said.
'Until now, the couple have always been renting so there was hope his relocation wouldn't be permanent.
'This house purchase quashes any last hopes.'
The news comes after the British influencer snubbed his dad, David Beckham on Father's Day despite the football legend proudly sharing photos of his eldest son on Instagram.
'My most important & favourite job in life is being a dad ... I'm so proud of all of you and like daddy (sorry boys) tells you every single day I will always be here for you no matter what...,' Beckham, 50, captioned the series of cute family photos.

Rumours of tension began swirling earlier this year when Beckham failed to attend his father's 50th birthday celebrations — an uncharacteristic move for the usually sentimental eldest son.
Beckham also recently shared a video of him and Peltz, which he captioned, 'I always choose you.'

Aussie singer Delta Goodrem has tied the knot with long-time partner Matthew Copley on the European island of Malta. The pair are believed to have made their love official on June 16, according to New Idea, after months of speculation regarding their nuptials. In May, Goodrem was seen wearing a wedding band during a London performance at Hackney Empire, but curiously did not appear to be wearing it while treating fans at London's St Pancras International Station to an impromptu performance later in the month. Jesse McCartney has become a father - two months earlier than expected. The 38-year-old singer-and-actor - who starred as JR Chandler on the soap opera All My Children before joining the boy band Dream Street - and his wife Katie Peterson welcomed their son Archer James McCartney early on May 7. The little one wasn't due until August 8. "Then like I said, maybe trying to get something together for the anniversary of 'Beautiful Soul' if we can pull it together in time. "So those are the plans. And, you know, just sort of also personally working on family, trying to maybe start a family and potentially move. We love our home here, but we're thinking of getting something a little bit more family friendly. So real estate is another thing that we're looking into."
