R&B Singer Jaheim Charged (AGAIN) With Animal Cruelty

R&B singer Jaheim is once again in trouble for his alleged treatment of dogs in his care.
As reported by WSB-TV, the Grammy-nominated vocalist was arrested on May 1. According to records by Fulton County Sheriff's Office, the singer, whose full name is Jaheim Hoagland, was charged with six counts of animal cruelty. Court docs revealed he is accused of not providing enough water, sanitary conditions, and ventilation to his six dogs.
Documents said that the 'Put That Woman First' singer owns the following dogs: Tweet, Pit Bull Terrier
Tip, French Bulldog
Taka, Hound mix
Tink, Pit Bull Terrier
Timber, Pit Bull Terrier
Tanger, Pit Bull Terrier
Jaheim was released the following day from Fulton County Jail on bond.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time that Jaheim has been arrested for animal cruelty.
In September 2021, he was arrested in New Jersey for third-degree animal cruelty and failure to provide necessary care to an animal after police found over a dozen dogs in deplorable conditions at his home in Hillsborough, NJ. One dog was ultimately euthanized due to its poor condition, leading to sweeping backlash and condemnation by the public.

‘Wicked' Star Cynthia Erivo Fires Back at MAGA Hate for Playing Jesus
Wicked star Cynthia Erivo has some thoughts about the MAGA outrage—fueled by Elon Musk—over her casting as Christ in the Hollywood Bowl's production of Jesus Christ Superstar. 'You can't please everyone,' the Tony, Grammy, and Emmy-winner told Billboard in a new interview. 'It is legitimately a three-day performance at the Hollywood Bowl where I get to sing my face off. Critics with similar complaints flooded Variety's social media post announcing the casting with one user in the replies called Erivo playing Christ 'anti-Christian bigotry' by 'Hollywood.' But Erivo told Billboard, 'Why not?' as she shrugged off naysayers. 'The more yourself you are, the more you are in front of people who don't necessarily understand, the better understanding starts to happen,' she said. As much as she wants to be 'a person you can get positive things from' since 'that is the only way you can balance this stuff,' she couldn't help getting in a jab at Donald Trump for his takeover of the Kennedy Center, where Erivo played some of the most iconic performances of her career. 'I don't know who gains what from that. I hope that it comes back,' she said. 'It's really sad to have to watch this happen to it. The Kennedy Center is supposed to be a space of creativity and art and music for everyone.' That said, assimilating to appease Trump and his 'anti-woke' mob isn't on the star's to-do list, she added. 2nd arrest made in connection to missing French Bulldog ‘Julio'
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A second arrest has been made in connection to the theft of a French Bulldog, court records show. 20-year-old Tahari Taylor was booked into the Mecklenburg County Detention Center on May 30 and charged with felony possession of stolen goods. According to an affidavit, on April 6, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were called to the 3000 block of Barrow Road in reference to a stolen vehicle. Inside the vehicle was the victim's French Bulldog 'Julio'. MORE | The car was found on April 11, and a juvenile was charged, but Julio was still missing. While investigators were investigating an unrelated incident, data from a cell phone was reviewed and found to contain evidence from this case. The phone data contained text messages between two people on April 7, less than 24 hours after the victim's car and dog were stolen. The text stated that Taylor had the dog and was bringing it to the co-defendant's home. Further evidence on the phone confirmed that the dog and vehicle belonged to the victim. There were also photos and videos of the victim's car and dog. On May 14, a 37-year-old woman, Kendra Hunter, was also charged with felony possession of stolen goods in relation to this case. Both are being charged with felonies because the dog is worth $5,000. Court documents say that the dog's owner contacted investigators on May 1 to say that Hunter called her about the dog. It was communicated that the dog 'may be with someone's uncle who breeds French Bulldogs.' Investigators also reviewed Hunter's teenage son's cellphone, finding a photo of Julio that was taken at their home less than a day after the dog was stolen.
