F&O Strategy: NALCO to Oberoi Realty— Rupak De suggests buy or sell strategy for THESE stocks

Mint8 hours ago

Stock market today: The Indian stock markets commenced the week positively, opening higher on Monday due to a boost in investor confidence following the recent substantial rate cut announced by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
The Nifty 50 index started at 25,131.25, increasing by 128.20 points or 0.51%. Likewise, the Sensex opened the day at 82,616.12, climbing by 427.13 points or 0.52%.
Market analysts are optimistic that Indian equities will remain strong throughout the day. This robust momentum is being driven not only by the RBI's rate cut and liquidity initiatives but also by favorable signals from global markets.
On the F&O segment, Rupak De of LKP Securities, has suggested National Aluminium Company (NALCO), and Oberoi Realty shares to buy or sell. Here's what De says about the overall market and stocks.
The stock index witnessed a sharp upmove following a bold policy announcement by the RBI. Closing above the 25,000 mark for the first time in several sessions reflects renewed optimism among market participants. Historically, a rally followed by consolidation often leads to an upward breakout, and a similar pattern appears to be unfolding now. On the upside, immediate resistance is seen at 25,150.
A breakout above this level — or sustained trade above 25,000 — could pave the way for a move towards 25,350. On the downside, support is placed at 24,850. A decisive fall below this level may dampen the current momentum and lead to profit booking.
Open Interest Analysis: Huge additions were seen in the open interest at the 25,000 PUT; apart from that 24,900 and 24,800 strikes witnessed decent Put addition. While CALL writers added substantial positions at the 25,500 strikes on Friday. Maximum CALL open interest was seen at the 25,500 strike, whereas maximum PUT open interest was seen at 25,000, indicating a broader range for the market. Currently the PUT writers are slightly outnumbering the CALL writers for current weekly expiry.
Strategy: Strength increases if Nifty 50 sustains above 25,000 in the first hour.
Trade: Buy Nifty 12 June 25200CE ABOVE 120 TGT 180 SL 84.
NALCO share price has exhibited a breakout following a phase of consolidation on the daily chart, reflecting renewed investor confidence. The stock continues to trade above its 50-day moving average, indicating sustained bullish sentiment. Additionally, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) has formed a bullish crossover, supporting the momentum. Given the constructive market outlook, the stock is well-positioned to approach the ₹ 200 level in the near term. A long position may be initiated with a stop-loss set below ₹ 183.
IIFL share price has been demonstrating a strong uptrend, characterized by a pattern of higher highs and higher lows. The recent breakout above the previous swing high on the daily chart signals continuation of this upward trajectory. The stock has also surpassed its 200-day moving average, suggesting a transition to a positive long-term trend. The RSI remains in a bullish crossover and continues to strengthen, confirming the prevailing momentum. A long position can be considered with a stop-loss placed below ₹ 433, as the stock targets a move towards ₹ 485 in the short term.
Oberoi Realty share price has broken above a key swing high on the daily chart, indicating renewed strength in its upward momentum. The stock is trading firmly above its 200-day moving average, underscoring the continuation of the prevailing trend. The RSI is in a bullish crossover, lending further support to the positive price action. Based on current technical indicators, the stock appears poised to reach ₹ 2,050 in the near term. A long position may be initiated with a stop-loss below ₹ 1,830.

Instamart partners with Bharat Organics to bring certified organic staples to Indian homes

Swiggy's Instamart on Monday announced that it has joined hands with Bharat Organics , a farmer-led cooperative brand, to launch a range of certified organic staples across major Indian cities. The partnership, forged through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Cooperative Organic Limited (NCOL), will make 21 organic food products available to consumers via Instamart's digital platform. Shares of Swiggy Ltd were trading at Rs 364.35, down Rs 10.10 (2.70 per cent ) as of 1:22 pm IST. The alliance is aimed at connecting India's traditional organic farming cooperatives to the country's growing base of health-conscious, digital-first consumers. Products such as pulses, spices, cereals, sweeteners, teas, and organic oils will now be accessible on Instamart in metros and Tier-1 cities at prices significantly below market rates. 'This initiative also aligns with the Government of India's broader vision under White Revolution 2.0, which emphasizes strengthening the agri-cooperative ecosystem through sustainable practices, market access, and digital enablement. By connecting traditional farmer cooperatives to tech-enabled platforms like Instamart, the partnership underscores the role of cooperatives in shaping a healthier, more resilient India,' it said in a statement. 'This partnership with Bharat Organics helps us take a significant step toward promoting healthier living by making a wide range of organic product options easily available to the customers of Instamart,' said Amitesh Jha, CEO, Instamart. 'It also aligns with our broader goal of supporting the growth of local communities through technology. In addition to this, this collaboration is beneficial for India's organic farmers, by enabling greater market access.' Consumers will be able to choose from staples including tur dal, masoor dal, rajma, kabuli chana, basmati rice, atta, jaggery powder, whole and ground spices, honey, ghee, and herbal teas. Every pack comes with a QR code linking to real-time lab test reports verifying pesticide-free status, certified against over 245 residues, marking a new level of transparency in India's grocery segment. Prices have been deliberately kept competitive to encourage adoption. For example, organic tur dal will retail at Rs 240/kg, notably lower than the market average of Rs 290–Rs 300/kg. Shri Ashish Kumar Bhutani, Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation, welcomed the initiative. 'With Bharat Organics, we're offering a range of clean, lab-tested organic staples that are not only accessible to consumers but also ensure fair returns for farming communities. The launch on Swiggy Instamart is a meaningful step forward, bridging our agricultural roots with today's digital consumer landscape.' Shri Vipul Mittal, Managing Director, NCOL, added, 'Swiggy Instamart's reach, reliability, and consumer trust make it an ideal platform to bring Bharat Organics into the homes of a new generation of mindful buyers. Through Swiggy's platform, we're not only delivering food but also building trust, transparency, and empowerment into the grocery-buying experience.' Bharat Organics follows a farmer-first profit-sharing model, with nearly 50 per cent of profits going directly to member farmers. The brand already has a strong offline presence across Delhi-NCR, with distribution through 10,000+ retail outlets including 300+ Safal stores via its partnership with Mother Dairy, it informed. The Instamart collaboration marks its first major foray into digital grocery retail .

Should you lock your FD before banks cut their interest rates? These 6 lenders offer highest rates on fixed deposits

With repo rate declining to 5.50 percent after RBI's monetary policy committee (MPC) cut the repo rate for the third consecutive time on June 6, banks have followed suit. A number of bankss have already slashed their lending rate after RBI's rate cut. Not only lending rates, even the fixed deposit (FD) interest rates are also set to move southward in the wake of repo rate cut. Consequently, depositors are recommended to lock their savings into fixed deposits (FD) before the rates are cut again. So, if you are exploring the idea of opening a fixed deposit, you may check the interest rates offered by top banks both private and state. 'There may be one more cut of 25 basis point in next 6 months and so which will lead to further reduction in FD interest rate. So if you need money for your short term goals of 1 to 3 years and make the FD as soon as possible. But make a note that putting more money in FD blocks your money at the lower rate,' says Preeti Zende, founder of Apna Dhan Financial Services. I. State Bank of India (SBI): SBI's highest interest rate of 6.7 percent is offered on a deposit with two to three-year tenure. On one-year tenure, it offers 6.5 percent interest. Senior Citizens are entitled to receive an extra 50 basis points. These rates came into force on May 23, 2025. III. ICICI Bank: ICICI Bank offers highest interest of 6.6 percent to general citizens on a tenure of 2-5 years. Senior citizens are entitled to receive 7.1 percent per annum. IV. Union Bank of India: Union Bank offers highest rate of 7.15 percent per annum on a tenure of 456 days. These rates came into force on April 25, 2025. V.
