While betting on preseason games isn't the same as putting money down during the regular season — it's less about which is the better team and more about who will actually be on the field — it still offers an opportunity to place a few wagers.

He resoundingly answered "Joe Burrow" before looking into the camera with a face that could add even more fire to his answer. There is no arguing that Burrow is one of the best quarterbacks in the league. He continues to be a top 10 player in his respective position, but he is also up against two other phenoms. There are those who would argue that Buffalo Bills signal caller Josh Allen and Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson are above Burrow in the quarterback subject. Funny enough, a quarterback tier ranking from The Athletic stated that Patrick Mahomes and Burrow are tied for first place, with Josh Allen in third, and Jackson in fourth. Still, Jackson has won two MVP awards and should have arguably won his third in 2024. That honor was given to Allen instead. Burrow, on the other hand, has not yet won that prestigious award. That is not to say that Burrow is not a top quarterback in the NFL, but the trio of passers are often spoken about in the same conversation. That does include Mahomes, as well. The difference among them all is that Mahomes has also led his team to five Super Bowls in the last six years. Burrow has made one appearance, while Jackson and Allen have yet to reach the big game. Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce ranks 37th on the 2025 NFL Top 100 list
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been one of the league's most dominant players, and his selection on the "NFL Top 100" program was a reminder that he's still elite heading into his 13th season. Kelce, returning for the 2025 season, still ranks in the top ten in the league in his position and among the best overall. His ranking of 37th acknowledges that he's not producing the exact numbers as in past seasons, but is still valued and essential to the Chiefs' offense, with teams constantly planning against him. Kelce finished with seven catches for 117 yards in Kansas City's divisional-round playoff victory over the Houston Texans last season, marking his ninth 100-yard game in his postseason career. He broke a record set by legendary San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jerry Rice, who had eight in his career. The ten-time Pro Bowler posted 823 yards with three touchdowns on 97 receptions last season. Kelce enters the 2025 season behind Tony Gonzalez and Jason Witten for third all-time in tight end yards. Three Alabama players named to ESPN 2025 preseason All-America Team
ESPN has released its 2025 preseason All-America team, and three players from the Alabama Crimson Tide have been selected. These players include wide receiver Ryan Williams, offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor, and defensive end LT Overton, each of which were First Team selections. All players made significant contributions in 2024, and look to build on last year's success. Ryan Williams was a standout true freshman last year who took the nation by storm with acrobatic catches and blazing speed. He caught 48 passes for 865 yards and 8 touchdowns. His highlights and presence on the field have garnered comparisons to Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith. LT Overton will play the bandit position for Alabama (hybrid DE/OLB). Overton would have likely been a first-or-second round pick in this year's NFL draft, but returned to Alabama for his senior season. Overton had an impactful season in 2024, but expect him to improve on his three TFL and two sacks. Kadyn Proctor is a massive left tackle who will protect Ty Simpson's blind side. Proctor is 6'7 366 lbs., and could be the first offensive lineman picked in the 2026 NFL draft. Proctor had 54 knockdowns in 639 snaps and earned Second Team All-SEC honors last season. Parker Brailsford and Deontae Lawson also received Second Team preseason All-America honors by ESPN.
