14 Exciting Timepieces From Watches and Wonders 2025
The watch world discovered new launches from more than 55 brands, including Chopard, Hublot and Rolex, at the annual Watches and Wonders fair last week in Geneva.
During the five-day conference, Bell and Ross introduced the smallest and thinnest iteration of the everyday BR-05 watch yet, while Cartier unveiled a timepiece encrusted with over 1,000 diamonds. Some houses unveiled highly complicated watches, such as Panerai's Luminor Perpetual Calendar, or A. Lange & Söhne's new Minute Repeater Perpetual. Others released elegant watches that blended with jewelry, including Chanel's braided gold style and Bvlgari's white gold, snake-like bracelet.
Below are 14 noteworthy releases.
For its 270th anniversary, Vacheron Constantin introduced a limited-edition Traditionnelle, only available in 370 pieces. The new 38mm manual-winding style is available exclusively in pink-gold and platinum finishes, with a geometric motif created specifically for the anniversary. Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Manual-Winding, $26,100.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of its flagship watch, the Big Bang, Hublot released a streamlined edition, rendered in the signature blend of titanium steel, fiberglass, rubber and ceramic. The newer, smaller face and thinner strap are complemented by a patterned dial and a touch of red. Hublot Big Bang 20th Anniversary Titanium Ceramic, $20,800
Chanel often uses signatures from its clothing and leather accessories in its watch designs. The Première Galon bracelet is a prime example, with a bangle bracelet made of 18-karat yellow gold in a twisted braid. Chanel Première Galon, $14,800
The Aeterna is a modern makeover of the iconic Serpenti, which dates back to 1948. It features a white-gold curve case, head and bezel set with round brilliant-cut diamonds, and a white-gold crown with diamonds. The green hands break up the icy effect. Bvlgari Serpenti Aeterna, $219,000.
The beloved 1908 Rolex is now available with a seven-piece link bracelet called Settimo. Its 18-karat gold case and exceptionally bright white dial make it a modern take on minimalism. Rolex Perpetual 1908, $35,000.
Bell & Ross watches are known for their precision. The redesigned BR-05 features a more compact 36mm case and a thickness of 8.5mm. Its sleek dial, luminous hands and automatic movement with a 54-hour power reserve combine functionality and style. Bell & Ross BR-05 36MM Black Steel, $4,300.
The Reverso was first created for polo players. With a face that can be flipped to show a second side, the design was intended to protect the glass. The Reverso Tribute Geographic honors these roots, though the reverse dial now features a world-time indication. Only 150 of these limited-edition pink gold timepieces are available. Jaeger-LeCoultre Pink-Gold Reverso Tribute Geographic, $34,900.
A testament to Panerai's philosophy of high complications, the Luminor Perpetual Calendar features a sapphire crystal dial, a dual-time GMT function and the in-house P.4100 movement—all while remaining user friendly. Panerai Luminor Perpetual Calendar GMT Platinumtech, $67,700.
A. Lange & Söhne's new Minute Repeater Perpetual incorporates two sophisticated complications: a minute repeater and perpetual calendar. The timepiece, limited to only 50 pieces, also features an enamel dial crafted in-house, and a platinum case. A. Lange & Söhne Minute Repeater Perpetual, price upon request.
The Piaget Polo 79 watch—featuring a 38mm rhodium-finished 18-karat white gold case, dial and bracelet—joins the yellow gold version presented last year at Watches and Wonders. Piaget's decorative edging and satin-finished elements are integrated into the case. Piaget Polo 79 Watch in White Gold, $82,500.
The Calatrava collection, a timeless Patek Philippe style, now includes a new platinum model with a vintage touch. The polished case has a smooth, beveled bezel that transitions into a shiny chocolate-brown alligator leather strap. Patek Philippe Ref. 6196P, $47,130.
The new Panthère timepiece combines watchmaking and jewelry, drawing from the brand's iconic history. The 'Toi & Moi' bracelet features the three-dimensional feline on one side, the delicate watch on the other and 1,103 brilliant-cut diamonds. Cartier Panthère Jewelry Watch, $206,000. Price subject to change.
Chopard, for the first time, is adding a platinum style to its Alpine Eagle sports watch collection. This model features the ultrathin XP case and a slightly modified bracelet from previous models. The new timepiece boasts a dial with a blue gradient inspired by Alpine glaciers. Chopard Alpine Eagle 41 XP CS Platinum, $110,500.
Initially released in 2016, this Frederique Constant timepiece was heralded as one of the most budget-friendly perpetual calendar watches available. Since its introduction, the style has been transformed with elevated exterior finishes and technical features, including a 40mm steel case and a three-day power reserve. Frederique Constant Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture, $9,995.

38 Exquisite Jewels To See At The 2025 Couture Show
Each year during the first week of June, jewelry and watch professionals from around the world converge in Las Vegas for a series of jewelry trade shows. The annual Couture Show is one of those shows. It serves as a showcase for some of the world's best designer and high jewelry brands. The invitation only trade fair will be held June 4 – 8 at the Wynn Las Vegas casino resort. Approximately 350 jewelry designers from the U.S., Europe and Asia will present jewels that represent a range of style and talents. It is the best showcase in the U.S. for talented and accomplished fine and high jewelry designers. From this range of talent, I selected 38 designs that I believe will make an impression this year among consumers. There are many more jewels and creators to be seen during the duration of the fair, many of which will be on display at specialty retailers in North America and abroad. Jade Trau's contemporary diamond-centric jewelry designs have been making a mark in recent years. One piece she is showing at Couture is an 18k yellow gold ring that features a 1.01 G colored trillion-cut diamond set in a platinum alchemy setting, under a Frankie Stacking band (top photo). Trau gets a second mention as she used her design skills to glam up a selection of vintage 1970s Rolex watches with hand-crafted diamond bezels and exotic straps, while preserving their original mechanics and silhouette. Oscar Heyman Pansy Ring © Allison Chipak Few jewelers can match the craftsmanship, precious materials and storied history of Oscar Heyman, a century-old family-owned firm known for its classic high jewels. Among the many that the high jewelry brand will exhibit at Couture is this colorful 'Pansy Ring' made with layers of round sapphires, emerald-cut peridots, emerald-cut amethysts and round diamonds. Art jewelry brand, Tabayer, is unveiling the Zorae collection of jewels. It's the second jewelry collection Tabayer is doing in collaboration with artist photographer, Lina Scheynius. Instead of releasing images of the jewels, the brand chose to release photographs by Scheynius that inspired the pieces. Tie Dye Giza ring by Harwell Godfrey Harwell Godfrey Harwell Godfrey, founded in San Francisco by Lauren Harwell Godfrey, is making a name for herself by designing and crafting jewels that are thoughtfully selected to enhance the wearer's experience. This is represented with her Tie Dye Giza ring created with a 15.39-carat bi-color tourmaline set in 18k yellow gold. Buddha Mama, founded by Nancy Badia, is a handmade fine jewelry brand based in Miami, Fla. Badia's jewels are inspired by the spirit of Buddhism and rooted in the philosophy of contribution. The pieces are crafted from 20k gold, gemstones and enamel. The Guitar Pick pendant is made of 20k yellow gold with a diamond ball chain. The Marco Bicego Lunaria Gem necklace Marco Bicego The internationally renowned brand, Marco Bicego, is celebrating 25 years of Italian craftsmanship, innovation and design. To mark this milestone the brand will be introducing new jewels at the Couture Show. Among them are new pieces to the Lunaria collection featuring 18k yellow gold combined with candy-colored gemstones. The pieces are designed in Italy and made by hand in Italy, France and Switzerland. The 'Carpe Diem Look at the Moon' is a celestial 18k yellow gold pendant with two 18k yellow gold openable clasps. It is equipped with a quartz watch movement that powers a little golden star. It's completed with an aventurine and mother of pearl mosaic dial and the caseback is engraved with 'Carpe Diem.' Chantecler Capri Nautilus ring Chantecler As its home on the Italian resort island of Capri would suggest, fine jewelry brand, Chantecler, creates jewels that are poetically shaped by the sea. The Nautilus Collection is perfect representation of this, in which pieces are a precious mix of white enamel and diamonds that reveal light, shade, color and shape of the exotic shells. The collection includes a ring made of 18k yellow gold, titanium white enamel and diamonds. The Nanis Boules necklace Nanis Italian Jewels The Boules collection by Italian jewelry brand, Nanis, is known for its its sinuous shapes and colors inspired by Italian drinks from the 1960s. The brand, led by Laura Bicego, will reveal an addition to the collection at the Couture Show called, 'Dolcevita,' which is enhanced by an iridescent and shimmering shade of white mother-of-pearl. Chiarelli Milano was founded in 2020 by Jessica Nasr. It's a brand that blends Nasr's global influences with the refined expertise of Italian craftsmanship. The brand will unveil the Istinto collection inspired by 'the sleek power of the leopard to the hypnotic energy of the serpent,' Nasr says. Among the pieces in the collection is a pendant necklace in 18k yellow gold with black and white diamonds. Peruffo 'Blocks' 18k gold rings Alessia Fantinato Italian brand, Peruffo, is a two-time Couture Design Awards winner, takes a unique approach to jewelry creation when it comes to forms. For example, its latest collection, Blocks, is an elevated form of brutalist architecture combined with building blocks from childhood. The sculptural shape features a micro titanium spring system for functionality and movement. The Peruffo Block pieces are made in 18k yellow white gold with a matte or high polish finish and are meant to be layered and combined to create different looks. Vhernier is an international brand that exemplifies the best in Italian contemporary design and style. Its unique sculptural jewels are in demand worldwide. The Pirouette collection is an example of this design and style. The collection of rings and earrings feature simple round forms that are designed to softly hug the finger and ears. Perhaps the most interesting pieces in this collection combine jet with the classic Vhernier diamond pavé that covers the curved surfaces, adding brightness to the subtle form. The Picchiotti Reversable Necklace Picchiotti Picchiotti is a storied Italian family-owned firm that produces jewels which embody Italian style, jewelry technology and traditional craftsmanship. The company, located in the Italian gold-making center of Valenza produces gold, gem-set and diamond pieces that range from fine jewelry to high jewelry. Adding to this multi-cultural statement are Victorian-era collets and floral references along with layers of colored gems. British fine jewelry brand, Robinson Pelham, specializes in 'joy-inducing pieces that brighten up your jewelry box and become bold statements of self-expression.' This approach must be working as the three founders of the company have a strong following in the U.K. and U.S. These shield-shaped 'Daystar' pink opal earrings include a slim, elegant half-moon and drop shield gemstone shapes that are exclusively cut for Robinson Pelham. Drawing inspiration from the Georgian era, the earrings also include diamond spokes in a claw setting, creating a ray like effect. NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Just Gifted His Teammates Rolexes
When Shai Gilgeous-Alexander wins, he makes sure his teammates shares in his victory, too. The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard gifted his entire team Rolex watches, among other goodies, to celebrate the MVP award he snagged this season in the NBA, Hypebeast reported. And his squad was all too happy to receive the present: Thunder forward Jaylin Williams took to Instagram to show off the Rollies on the players' wrists, with a smiling Gilgeous-Alexander in the background. Advertisement More from Robb Report As for the models in question, it appears as though Williams is donning a two-toned Sea-Dweller in Oystersteel and yellow gold, featuring a Cerachrom bezel insert in black ceramic (priced at $20,300, per the Rolex website). The other timepieces seem to be the Datejust 36, with both a Jubilee bracelet ($14,400) and an Oyster bracelet ($13,650) on display, a Sky-Dweller in Oystersteel and white gold ($16,600), and a Submariner Date with a royal-blue dial ($17,600). Gilgeous-Alexander didn't stop there. The Canadian also gifted his fellow teammates iPhones, Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, and custom Canada Goose jackets with an embroidered patch commemorating the Thunder's 68-14 regular season record. In total, the gift basket is worth well over $10,000, according to Hypebeast. It seems like for the star point guard, the price was well worth it. Advertisement 'I can't say enough how much you guys mean to me, and not only as a basketball player, but as family,' Gilgeous-Alexander said in his MVP acceptance speech, according to Complex. 'I know you guys know that we do everything together, on and off the court, we do shopping, we eat. You guys are really like my brothers . . . Without you guys, none of this would be possible. I want you guys to know that this award is your award, too.' This isn't the first time an MVP win has spawned a Rolex. James Harden gifted teammate Joel Emid a $41,500 Day-Date 40 in Everrose gold when the latter snagged the most valuable player award for the 2033-23 season with the Philadelphia 76ers—including a custom '2023 MVP' engraved on the caseback. Of course, presents for teammates appears in other sports, too: Patrick Mahomes gave his offensive line what appeared to be a stainless-steel Datejust 41 with a white dial and Jubilee bracelet for Christmas last year. We'll have to see if the NBA Finals MVP doles out an equally lavish gift to his squad. Best of Robb Report Sign up for RobbReports's Newsletter.
