Hours before her death, Dutchess Diór shared a cry for help
On the morning of June 14, Dutchess Diór made a chilling Facebook post that now reads like a desperate plea. The post has gone viral after her death, with her fans widely sharing it across social media, and many alleging that the signs of a toxic relationship were always there.
In her post, the mother of two said, "I really am too loving & too forgiving. I'm a good-a** woman, but to the wrong boy. What do you know about carrying the load while being embarrassed, disrespected and steady helping a man fight demons? You can't make anybody happy who's not happy with themselves! You're going to mentally and emotionally drain yourself holding on to NOTHING! I walk through pain with a smile cause I look at any situation like God is showing me something. A man ain't making shit happen for me; I'm the face behind me, my kids, and the nxgga too!"
The Facebook Live that turned fatal
Later that same day, Dutchess Diór went live on Facebook in what would become her final appearance. In the stream, she was seen arguing with her husband, who appeared increasingly agitated as they both accused each other of cheating.
At one point during the tense back-and-forth, she said, 'He's getting mad because he doesn't like the truth coming out.' That's when things took a terrifying turn. Viewers heard him threaten her: 'You're going to make me kill you.'
The live ended abruptly. Hours later, she was found shot to death inside their home in Twin City, Georgia, around 9:30 p.m.

After killing Zaria, Shamarcus took off in their Dodge Challenger. A manhunt was launched, and he was eventually tracked down in Wayne County. But instead of surrendering, he reportedly took his own life before officers could apprehend him.
The case quickly made headlines not just for the shocking murder-suicide but also because of how much of it played out online. The couple had gone live before during arguments, but this time, the threat was real, and it was carried out.
A mother of two, gone too soon
Dutchess Diór had recently given birth to her second child in November. Her death has left two children without parents. According to her followers, she was a loving mother, someone who worked hard to hold everything together even when things were falling apart.

'Strangled, Hair Cut To Look Less Attractive': Kerala Woman's Mother On Her Suicide In Sharjah
The mother of the Kerala woman, who died by suicide in Sharjah with her daughter, has alleged her daughter was strangled and kicked, and her hair cut. The Kollam Police in Kerala have registered a case of murder under the Dowry Prohibition Act against a man after his wife and their child were found dead in Sharjah after alleged dowry-related harassment. In a suicide note, which was recovered from her Facebook account, the woman, Vipanchika (32), had claimed that her husband and other in-laws had been subjecting her to mental and physical abuse over dowry demands. Subsequently, a case was registered under Sections 85 (cruelty by a husband or his relatives towards a woman) and 108 (Abetment of suicide) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. According to the details, a case has also been filed under Sections 118(1) and 103(1), after a complaint was lodged by the woman's mother, Shyamala. In her complaint, the woman's mother alleged that Vipanchika was regularly harassed over dowry, humiliated over her appearance, and isolated by her husband and in-laws. Shyamala alleged that Vipanchika's hair was cut to make her look 'less attractive", as she was fair-skinned while her husband and his family were dark-skinned, the complaint mentioned. She alleged her daughter was tortured for more dowry, as her husband stated that what he got during marriage in 2014 was insufficient. According to the First Information Report (FIR), a two-wheeler and some gold was given as dowry. The complaint mentioned that the accused strangled the woman, kicked her in her stomach and hit her head with a plate. The mother also alleged that her one-year-old granddaughter, Vybhavi, was physically harmed after Vipanchika opposed her husband's alleged relationships with other women. A legal notice for divorce was later sent to Vipanchika. Unable to bear the ongoing harassment, Vipanchika took the extreme step, according to the complaint. In her complaint, Shyamala accused her daughter's husband, his sister Neethu Beni, and their father of abetment to suicide. The three were named as the accused in the case. The woman from Kottankara allegedly died by suicide, and her one-year-old daughter also died under tragic circumstances, raising suspicions that the child may have been killed before the mother took the extreme step. Rae Bareli cops arrest 4 members of Raj-based cyber gang impersonating bureaucrats on social media
Lucknow: Rae Bareli police, with support from the Cyber Cell and Special Operations Group (SOG), on Sunday busted an interstate cyber gang that specialised in creating fake social media profiles of senior police and administrative officers to extort money from gullible victims. Four gang members were arrested during a coordinated raid in Rajasthan's Alwar district, while two mobile phones used for the fraudulent activities were seized. Rae Bareli SP Yashveer Singh revealed that the gang recently created a fake Facebook account using his name and photo to deceive his acquaintances. "This gang was targeting people connected to senior officers. By carefully scanning the social media profiles of officers, they identified friends, relatives, and acquaintances, and then sent messages demanding money in emergency situations," he said. Rae Bareli additional SP Sanjeev Sinha said that the gang had been operating out of Alwar for a considerable time and has a track record of similar cyber frauds across states. Prior to targeting Yashveer Singh, they also created a fake account of many IGs of Jammu & Kashmir Police and extorted money. This operation comes after Rae Bareli police arrested three other members of the same gang on July 3. The earlier arrests took place near GIC College in Rae Bareli, where Narveer Singh (from Ballabhgarh in Haryana's Faridabad), Rashmuddin (from Bagaur Ismailpur, Alwar), and Basir Ahmed (from Naugawan in Rajasthan's Alwar) were caught red-handed while attempting to withdraw money linked to the fake SP's account. Their interrogation provided critical leads, which eventually led police teams to Alwar. Police are now interrogating the arrested men to identify other members of this well-spread cyber network. "We are mapping their operations and financial transactions. Their modus operandi shows that they operate in a highly organised manner, using fake IDs of officers to exploit public trust," the SP added. The arrests highlight a growing trend where cybercriminals exploit the credibility of high-ranking officials on social media. Authorities have urged citizens to verify any financial requests, even if they appear to come from known officers, before making any payments.

Man gets two-year RI for sharing woman's mobile number on social media
Coimbatore: A bus driver of a private college was sentenced to two years of rigorous imprisonment by the judicial magistrate court-IV in the city on Friday for sharing a woman's mobile number on social media. According to the Coimbatore city cybercrime police, M Shankara Moorthy, 37, of Punnai Sathankurichi in Thoothukudi district, worked as a private college bus driver in Coimbatore. On November 29, 2017, he was riding a motorcycle under the influence of alcohol when he lost control of the vehicle and hit another motorcycle belonging to a woman near Chinniyampalayam. The scooter of the victim, a resident of Somanur, was damaged in the accident. He agreed to bear the expenses for repairing the scooter and obtained her mobile number. Later, the woman received more than 30 phone calls from various mobile numbers. She lodged a complaint with the cybercrime police, who registered a case in 2018. According to police, Shankara Moorthy had posted the woman's mobile number on his Facebook page named 'Sathya Kutty'. They registered a case and arrested him. He was later remanded in judicial custody. Judicial magistrate court-IV magistrate Arunkumar on Friday awarded two years of rigorous imprisonment to Shankara Moorthy for harassing the woman and misusing technology. The court ordered the sentences to run concurrently and imposed a fine of Rs 16,000 on Shankara Moorthy.
