Prince Andrew author reveals next royal he's targetting with bombshell biography
After the release of his bombshell biography about Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, royal author and historian Andrew Lownie has revealed which major royal will be the target of his next book.
Lownie's biography, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, was released just last week, with the author announcing he is already working on his next tell-all book about the royal family.
In an interview about his controversial biographies, Lownie said he has already started working on a "warts and all" book on the late Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, as he has set aside four years to focus fully on the project. It comes as Prince Harry placed secret letter at royal event in major attempt to heal bitter feud.

Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, Lownie revealed: "I've put in all the FOIs [Freedom of Information requests] for a Prince Philip book already… I'm working very hard to get what I can."
One of Lownie's early finds was Prince Philip's early school report, which was intended to be inaccessible to the public for a century. "Why they kept it classified for 100 years, I don't know," Mr Lownie said.
"But I've got it. It shows his recommendations for the Royal Navy, and it's now at last declassified and available. Times are changing, they do need to start declassifying more and more records for the royals.
By the time the book is published, it will be close to a decade since Philip's death, and Lownie believes public attitudes about the late Duke and the monarchy as a whole may have shifted.
'People might be ready to hear some of the stories about his private life,' he says. 'People expect more transparency from the monarchy now."
While discussing his most recent book Entitled, Lownie also revealed that he will be publishing an updated version of the biography, which should be available summer 2026, as more sources have come forward with allegations against Andrew since the book's release.
According to Lownie, several sources who previously refused to speak about Andrew have now been empowered to share their stories and allegations against the disgraced Duke, causing Lownie's publisher to invite him to publish an updated version.
Lownie said the new book would be an 'entirely new version' of Entitled, adding: "The amazing and astonishing thing that's happened since Entitled came out is that people have come forward in droves with more stories to tell about Prince Andrew. Those who felt they couldn't speak to me before have now changed their mind or have realised they've been covering things up for him out of misplaced loyalty.
"A lot of respectable people who declined to be involved in the book are now coming forward, keen to unload the secrets they've been keeping for all these years.
"So my Andrew book is going to have to be substantially rewritten from start to finish. It will be an entirely new book, not just a few new chapters, and I'll get it done in time for the paperback release next summer. I think my book really broke the inertia surrounding Prince Andrew."

Britney Spears sparks concern with off-key rendition of Prince song in bizarre video from disheveled mansion
Britney Spears has sparked concern over her off-key rendition of a Prince song as well as her messy home in a new Instagram clip shared on Monday. The 43-year-old songstress - who recently suffered a wardrobe malfunction in a peekaboo dress - filmed herself wearing a skimpy ensemble and showed off her vocal skills to her 41.8 million followers. The Baby One More Time hitmaker belted out lyrics to her own rendition of Prince's song Kiss, although her tone appeared off-key at some moments. At one point, Britney could be heard singing, 'I don't know who I am, oh, oh,' while adjusting a large light next to her camera. She wore a brown bralette top that had a white polka dot pattern as well as a plunging neckline on the front. The songstress completed her look by slipping into a pair of mini white shorts and black knee-high boots. Clutter could be seen in the spacious living room behind her, and towards the end of the clip an adorable pup strutted behind Britney in the background. In the caption, the singer penned to her fans: 'I would say, Julia Roberts singing Prince's "Kiss" off key a touch, but I sounded really good behind the lens lol!!! 'PSS Wise a**es, I do know who I am !!!' she added, referencing to the lyrics she had been singing. 'I have eight different languages written on my neck ... these are my pjs, but I put these boots on to play with lighting ... not the most elegant look but hey!!!' In a second video also shared on Monday, the performer explained that she was in the midst of cleaning her abode but decided to take a quick break. Britney also belted out some more vocals for her followers as she adjusted the camera and lighting. 'Messing around with lighting and cleaning my house like no tomorrow,' the star wrote in the caption. Britney rarely sings in her social media clips, and instead will showcase her dance moves. At one point, Britney could be heard singing, 'I don't know who I am, oh, oh,' while adjusting a large light next to her camera Most recently, the Toxic songstress donned a very revealing gold minidress that had a large cutout around the bust area in a reel shared last week. But as she moved in front of the camera, the star suffered numerous nip slips - but made sure to add flower emojis for coverage. It comes not long after Britney's ex Sam Asghari took a swipe at the star's ex-husband Kevin Federline as he prepares to release a tell-all memoir titled You Thought You Knew. The Gimme More hitmaker was previously married to Sam from 2022 until their divorce was finalized last year. In December 2024, the pop singer was declared legally single. Britney also tied the knot with Kevin in 2004 until their split in 2007. The former couple are parents to sons Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden, 18. While out in Los Angeles earlier this month, Sam shared his thoughts about Kevin's book while talking to TMZ. 'Well, he was a professional father so he would be a great... it would be the first book that'll tell you how to be a professional father.' The actor was possibly making a reference to the child support payments Kevin had been receiving from Britney for their two sons - which officially ended in November 2024 when Jayden turned 18. Sam has previously voiced support for Britney, such as earlier this year in January when he reflected on the 'darker side of Hollywood.' While talking to Page Six, he said: 'You have to be careful in every industry. Not just in Hollywood. You have to always be careful and protect yourself and protect the people that you love.' In regards to his ex-wife, the star added, 'I just wish her the best. I think that the number one factor of a partner is to be there for one another, no matter what. It comes not long after Britney's ex Sam Asghari took a swipe at the star's ex-husband Kevin Federline as he prepares to release a tell-all memoir titled You Thought You Knew; Kevin and Britney seen in 2005 in Hollywood 'Well, he was a professional father so he would be a great... it would be the first book that'll tell you how to be a professional father,' Sam told TMZ; seen in 2024 in Las Vegas 'There's never ever a need to take advantage of anybody. We all go through this life and we go through different chapters and you meet people along the way and they are a big part of your life.' Sam continued, 'You're just always thankful for every moment that you spent with people in the past.' Since his divorce from the pop singer, Sam has been romantically linked to Brooke Irvine. After Kevin announced his upcoming memoir, fans of Britney slammed her ex-husband - who will open up about their 'highly publicized marriage.' One penned, 'So, no one would buy his story, so he thinks people want to hear him read his notes app life story?' And over on Reddit, another said, 'That child support dried up realllllll quick,' while one added, 'His timing tells you everything.'

An insider said: 'The Balmoral invitation is a huge show of support.' Prince William and Kate and their three children are also due to attend, along with Prince Edward and wife Sophie and their two kids. The summer break at the Scottish estate is the only time except at Christmas that the entire Royal Family get together. Charles and Queen Camilla, there for the next three weeks, will also be visited by PM Sir Keir Starmer next month.
