Patsy Palmer leaves crowd in hysterics and Jane McDonald appalled with her 'vagina monologue' during British Soap Awards - as fans claim ITV edited out even more X-rated comments!
Patsy Palmer left both the crowd and viewers at home in stitches during the British Soap Awards, as she went off in a tangent about vaginas during her award acceptance speech.
The actress, 53, won the prize for Best Comedic Performance at the annual ceremony, held on Saturday night at London 's Hackney Empire.
She scored the win for her role as Bianca Jackson on EastEnders, beating out stiff competition from Jack P Shepherd, Nicola Wheeler and Nicole Barber-Lane.
However, as she took to the stage to accept the gong, Patsy got rather sidetracked, as she deliver an ode to vaginas, that had the audience breaking down into laughter.
She made the X-rated remarks in reference to EastEnders' live 40th anniversary special, which saw Bianca having to help sister Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) give birth after they became trapped in the Queen Vic with cousin Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) following the explosion.

The scene had viewers cracking up as Bianca and Lauren argued over who had to help, with both reluctant to get up close and personal with the birth.
It culminated with Bianca taking a huge glug from a bottle of brandy for some liquid courage, before declaring the now-iconic line: 'It's only a noony Lauren!'
Referencing the hilarious moment, Patsy began her speech: 'Listen I haven't prepared a speech, because I really thought Jack was gonna win.
'To be able to funny in all what of we've seen tonight is nothing short of miracle really. I'd like to thank Shona McGarty for leaving, because if she hadn't have left I wouldn't have come back.
'I wasn't expecting that and I'm so glad I did because then I stayed for the 40th and that was really where we celebrated the women's vagina!'
As the star-studded crowd burst into laughter, co-star Michelle Collins could be seen looking around in shock, while host Jane McDonald looked positively appalled.
However, Patsy didn't stop there, valiantly continuing on to add: 'I think vaginas have always been funny.'
She then changed tone to express her thanks to show and even choked back her tears, as she gushed: 'All jokes aside, coming back to EastEnders after quite some time has been the most amazing experience for me and I'm so grateful. Beyond grateful.
'And I'm not going to cry, so I'm going to go, because it is a comedy award. But you really have no idea what a gift it's been for me to come back.'
As she left the stage, the camera cut back to Jane to segue to the next award, but the singer was still left stunned by Patsy's unusual and explicit speech.
She confessed to the audience: 'Well I don't know what to say after that. I mean how many times can you say vaginas in one speech?'

'False bin collection leaflet delivered in Birmingham is insulting'

Birmingham to host daytime rave for mums
A rave tailor-made for mothers is being held outside London for the first Saturday, Hockley Social Club in Birmingham is hosting Mums That Rave, a daytime dance party that aims to "smash stereotypes of motherhood and inspire mothers to lead a fulfilling life".It was launched by DJ Nikki Beatnik, after the birth of her child motivated her to prove that motherhood did not mean she had to lose her identity."I, for one, refuse to disappear into a life of school runs, stripy jumpers and school WhatsApp groups," she said. Since the first Mums That Rave party in 2019, there have been 22 events - until now, all in raves attract mothers from 18 to 60, although all women are welcome."It's a safe space for women and mums to claim their space on the dance floor," said DJ Nikki. "As a woman in music - I've been in the music industry my whole adult life - and as a mum as well, I know it's really important that we have these safe spaces."It's really important for mums' mental health, as well, to have fun, to have somewhere to dress up and feel comfortable and dance - it's about community." DJ Nikki said she had long been passionate about giving greater representation to mums in the "youth-obsessed" music industry, continuing to run club nights and tour with the likes of Kelis and All Saints until four days before she gave birth in 2014."When I gave birth, I realised that a few of the big clients and brands that I'd always worked with had gone quiet and more or less stopped booking me," she said. "The only thing I could really put it down to was now that I was a mum."When you're a DJ, you kind of look the same for years - but when you become a mum DJ that puts you in a different category." She decided to create something similar to her previous club nights, but at a time of day which suited women who wanted to get home for their children's bedtime, or who had to get up the next morning."It's the hardest demographic I've ever promoted parties to," she said, "because mums have so much scheduling, they take on such a big mental load."So to take an afternoon off and spend their money with me, I know I'm going to have to make that afternoon absolutely amazing for them."And the vibes have to be brilliant." Coventry's Big Lunch expects to welcome up to 1,000 guests
Up to 1,000 people are expected to turn up to an annual event on Saturday aimed at bringing a local community closer Aziz, who has been organising her Big Lunch in the Coventry suburb of Canley since 2016, says it began as a much more modest gathering of about 300 local people."A small picnic has now developed into our much-loved annual Big Lunch event, with up to 1,000 people coming along in 2024," said Dr Aziz."Unrecognisable from that first picnic, but just as important in bringing neighbours together to show we care about our area and the people who live here." The Big Lunch is a national scheme, launched by The Eden Project in 2009, which encourages communities to hold an event each June to share food and get to know each Aziz said she was inspired to act to bring people together, following the closure of her local park after it had been targeted by arsonists and those involved in anti-social said local residents were from a diverse range of socio-economic backgrounds, occupations, ages and ethnicities."Everybody has their own bubble of friends," she explained. "The first Big Lunch made me realise that was the only time we had come to get to know each other."[It] provides an opportunity for people from different backgrounds to come together, learn something new about each other, understand how everyone adds to the tapestry which makes up the community." Since that first event, the gathering, held in Prior Deram Park, has grown to include music, interactive activities led by park rangers, and a parade including a samba band, bagpipers and a dance barbecue stations serve up burgers and hot dogs, and local people can also sell homemade produce from stalls. 'New course of history' Dr Aziz organises it as part of a community steering group that includes local businesses, the council, local faith groups and the University of Warwick."To me, community is about support, pride, understanding and being a good friend and neighbour," she said."Since the first Big Lunch, I feel like we set a new course of history, like a heritage for the new generation. We live in a deprived neighbourhood, we don't have much theatre or sports, or anything really for the community."But this is what pulls us together."
