Is Derrick Henry exploring a career in Hollywood?
While Derrick Henry is focusing on the upcoming season of the NFL, it seems like the star player might just explore a career in Hollywood.
Recently, the Baltimore Ravens' star player, Derrick Henry, appeared on the Dan Patrick Show, where he spoke about actor
Adam Sandler
being his favourite actor.
Derrick Henry seemed all excited as he said, "If you ever see [Sandler] again, tell him I'm a really big fan, and I'd really love to meet him one day.'
A few hours later, actor Adam Sandler actually replied to Derrick Henry as he made a short video. The 'Happy Gilmore' actor said, "Two-thousand yards plus this year gets you not only in the movie, but we have a nice dinner together.'
Coincidentally, the movie 'Happy Gilmore' also stars NFL star and the Kansas City Chiefs' tight end, Travis Kelce. It remains interesting to watch if Derrick Henry follows a similar career path as Travis Kelce.

‘Best gossip buddy': Sanjana Ganesan's banter about life with Jasprit Bumrah wins hearts on the Internet
Banter between couples – celebrity or not – can make for some of the most charming, relatable content. In a recent podcast appearance, sports journalist and cricket anchor Sanjana Ganesan offered a candid look into her life with cricketer husband Jasprit Bumrah, and the Internet is loving it. Speaking on the podcast Moments of Silence hosted by Instagram influencers Sakshi Shivdasani and Naina Bhan, Ganesan shared how Bumrah is her 'best gossip buddy'. The two, she said, love lounging at home watching Netflix, indulging in chocolates, and catching up on work gossip. The now-viral clip also revealed a fun behind-the-scenes moment from their professional lives. Ganesan, who has interviewed Bumrah during matches, recalled how he often tries to throw her off by winking or smiling during serious segments. 'I try to stay focused and in journalist mode, but he knows exactly how to break that,' she said, laughing. The clip was posted on the podcast's Instagram page, @momentofsilencepod, with the caption, ''Interviewed a true inspiration this week — she's got it all (except your fav cricketer's phone number)! Stream now on Spotify!' The video has amassed 685K views and 42.5K likes on the platform. A post shared by Moment of Silence (@momentofsilencepod) Reacting to the video, a user commented, 'You carry strength with such grace, Sanjana di. Your poise, confidence, and calm presence are truly inspiring. Women like you redefine elegance.' Another user wrote, 'By far THE BEST EPISODE! Love how you highlighted her success and career without making it just about the husband. I knew I was a problem when I got excited thinking all the questions are going to be around cricket and 'the husband'.' One Instagram user said, 'Sanjana you are looking so beautiful.' However, not all feedback was positive. One user criticised the interviewers, saying, 'This was the best guest you had. I love you guys, but this was not your finest moment. Good questions were not put and you were not well prepared.' In the episode, Ganesan also touched upon her Miss India journey, college life, and thoughts on motherhood.

Nikki Tamboli turns vegan despite dating Muslim actor Arbaz Patel; Calls it an 'individual choice'
Mumbai: Actress Nikki Tamboli used social media to announce that she has decided to turn vegan on Bakra Eid. Her decision comes as a surprise to many as Nikki's relationship with Muslim actor Arbaz Patel is well known. The stunner posted a picture on her Instagram with the words, "Go Vegan." Nikki further added a powerful caption that read, "Vegan is not a diet. It is a choice your heart makes. Because I'm being the change I wish to see in this world." Revealing the mindset behind her decision, she said, "For quite some time, I had been contemplating this decision and finally, my inner calling prompted me to take this call. I have certainly realized the fact that no animal needs to die in order for me to live. I am definitely not at all in favour of the festival of 'Bakra Eid'. I simply cannot come to terms with the fact that for the sake of Allah, millions of goats are being sacrificed. I simply couldn't bear the thought anymore. I believe change begins at home and that's why, for me to have a strong belief and conviction about this, I myself had to turn vegan today itself. This feeling itself makes me feel tranquil, calm & reposeful." She shared that being vegan is her individual choice and not something influenced by the person she is in a relationship with. "It's a personal choice and I am happy about my decision. My relationship or my dating life is not supposed to decide or govern what I am going to consume right? For me, my individuality and my connection with myself is my top priority and I cannot compromise with that in any way. It is a personal choice and it has got nothing to do with the religious belief of the person I am currently with. Religion and food choices are completely different things and people shouldn't blend the two. I have always been someone who's listened to her heart and gut feeling and I will always continue to do that irrespective. I hope more and more people listen to their inner calling and make this world a healthier & serene place for animals," Nikki concluded.

WTC Final: Temba Bavuma harboured dreams of playing at Lord's as youngster; to lead Proteas against Australia
South Africa's Temba Bavuma (AP/PTI) South Africa Test captain Temba Bavuma , the first Black cricketer to lead his country in Test cricket, shared his journey from playing cricket in the streets of Langa to leading his team at Lord's in the upcoming ICC World Test Championship final against Australia on June 11. South Africa last faced Australia in a Test series in 2022-23, where Australia won 2-0. Bavuma, now 35, recalled his childhood connection to Lord's cricket ground, drawing parallels between the streets of his hometown and famous cricket venues. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! "There was always some sort of allegiance with Lord's when we were growing up in Langa. On the right-hand side of the street the tar wasn't done so nicely and we used to call it Karachi. The other side was the MCG . But my favourite section was clean and done up nicely, and we called it Lord's because it just looked better. As a kid of 10, I already had that dream of playing at Lord's," Bavuma told The Guardian. His journey included earning a scholarship to SACS, where he faced challenges adapting to a predominantly white institution. "It was tough integrating within the system, learning and understanding the (white) culture," he said of his time at SACS. "But I had to learn about discipline and etiquette. I also had to learn confidence. Can you imagine taking a child from the township into a system where, basically, everything is there? There were always doubts. Am I good enough to be here?" Gautam Gambhir sends stern message after Bengaluru tragedy Bavuma remembered the stark differences when SACS played against Langa. "My friends from Langa would have huge plates at lunch. We'd laugh about it but… the Langa boy would be wondering when is he going to get another opportunity to eat food like that?" His cricket career progressed after moving to Johannesburg and attending St David's, which has since named its cricket ground after him. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy Brass Idols - Handmade Brass Statues for Home & Gifting Luxeartisanship Buy Now Undo Bavuma achieved a significant milestone in 2016 by becoming the first Black South African to score a Test century. His second century came in 2023 after becoming Test captain. Quiz: Who's that IPL player? "The added responsibility, getting pushed up the order, is something I thrived on," Bavuma said. "Most of all, I just understand my game and I don't try playing like anyone else." Under his leadership, South Africa secured their place in the World Test Championship final by winning seven consecutive Tests, despite challenges including scheduling inequality, player unavailability, and funding constraints. The ICC World Test Championship final between South Africa and Australia is scheduled to begin on June 11 at Lord's Cricket Ground.
