A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, starring Robbie and Colin Farrell, is in theaters Sept. 19. Sony Pictures released the trailer for the pair's upcoming movie, which marks Robbie's first big screen role since she starred in the 2023 smash hit Barbie, and features her and Farrell, 49, taking a wild journey through each other's lives and memories after they meet at a wedding.
The pair, who play Sarah and David, are brought together further when David's car GPS instructs him to pick up Sarah and invites the characters to take part in the movie's titular big bold beautiful journey.
"What if you could open a doorway and walk through it to re-live a defining moment from your past?" reads an official synopsis for the movie. "Sarah and David are single strangers who meet at a mutual friend's wedding and soon, through a surprising twist of fate, find themselves on A Big Bold Beautiful Journey – a funny, fantastical, sweeping adventure together where they get to re-live important moments from their respective pasts, illuminating how they got to where they are in the present…and possibly getting a chance to alter their futures."
A Big Bold Beautiful Journey comes from After Yang director Kogonada and The Menu screenwriter Seth Reiss. It also stars Jodie Turner-Smith, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Billy Magnussen, Lily Rabe and Hamish Linklater.
Robbie was spotted on the movie's set in April 2024. The Oscar nominee and her husband and Barbie producing partner Tom Ackerley then welcomed their first baby together in November; she has remained largely out of the spotlight since.

A source told PEOPLE last July that Robbie "was super professional and focused' making A Big Bold Beautiful Journey. "No one suspected that she was pregnant… She got along with Colin, and they had fun filming."
Also among Robbie's upcoming projects are Emerald Fennell's adaptation of Wuthering Heights costarring Jacob Elordi and an Ocean's Eleven film. Farrell will also next star in The Ballad of a Small Player and the planned sequel to the 2022 Robert Pattinson-starring The Batman.
A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, from Sony Pictures Releasing, is in theaters Sept. 19.

‘Sixth Sense' Star Haley Joel Osment Sentenced After April Arrest
A California judge has made a ruling after Oscar-nominated actor Haley Joel Osment was arrested for suspected public intoxication, People reported. Sixth Sense star Osment was arrested on April 8 in Mammoth Lakes, CA, on charges of alleged public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in a local court on June 2. During his arraignment, Osment requested and was granted a one-year diversion which requires him to attend three AA meetings each week for the next six months. Osment must also meet with his therapist at least twice weekly during the next six months and obey all to the outlet, the Mono County district attorney's office objected to Osment's diversion request because of the actor's previous DUI conviction. They also cited Osment's use of racial slurs towards arresting officers as reason the diversion should not have been granted. During his arrest, Osment accused one officer of being 'a f---ing Nazi' and use an antisemitic slur against another. If Osment completes the diversion program, the court will dismiss all charges related to the most recent incident. However, criminal proceedings will be reinstated if Osment does not complete the program. Osment will next appear in court on Jan. 5, 2026, when the judge will review his compliance with the issued an apology back in April for the 'disgraceful language' he used during his arrest, explaining that 'the past few months of loss and displacement' after losing his home in January's Eaton fire 'have broken me down to a very low emotional place.' "I'm absolutely horrified by my behavior. Had I known I used this disgraceful language in the throes of a blackout, I would have spoken up sooner," Osment said in his statement. "But that's no excuse for using this disgusting word. From the bottom of my heart, I apologize to absolutely everyone that this hurts. What came out of my mouth was nonsensical garbage—I've let the Jewish community down and it devastates me. I don't ask for anyone's forgiveness, but I promise to atone for my terrible mistake."Though Osment is best known for his adolescent roles in The Sixth Sense and Pay It Forward, he's maintained a busy career in subsequent years with over 130 acting credits. Halle Bailey May Be Blocked from Leaving the Country with Baby Halo
In newly surfaced court documents, rapper DDG has asked the court to stop Halle Bailey from taking their 17-month-old son, Halo, out of the country. The legal move comes amid a custody and restraining order case between the former couple, who split in 2024. DDG has requested the court to block his former partner Halle Bailey from travelling abroad with their son Halo, as per new court filings. The rapper has requested an emergency hearing to prevent the Last Holiday star from taking international trips with their 17-month-old son, specifically raising concerns over an upcoming vacation to Italy. In addition to the travel restriction, DDG is seeking a domestic violence restraining order. He alleges that Bailey has shown behavior that could pose emotional and psychological harm to their child, including what he describes as 'repeated threats of self-harm.' He further argues that international travel would remove the child from the court's jurisdiction and limit access to emergency protection if needed. The court had also issued a temporary restraining order then, requiring DDG to keep a distance of at least 100 yards from both Bailey and their son. Effective until June 4, the order recently expired. Additionally, Bailey requested that DDG be denied any visitation rights unless supervised. She asked that if visitation is granted, it should be limited to once a week for six hours under professional supervision while Halo is in Los Angeles. Further, he should not be allowed to take their son outside Los Angeles County. Wes Anderson says Jodie Foster keeps turning down the chance to work with him: 'She's pretty amazing'
Wes Anderson is an institution. Over the course of his prolific, three-decade career, the American filmmaker has established a signature aesthetic and working style that could convince any actor to beg him for a part — almost any actor. But one two-time Oscar-winning performer has eluded the ensemble-oriented director. "Over the years, I had so many movies that I tried to get Jodie Foster to be in," Anderson revealed in a Tuesday interview with Collider, "It used to be every movie, we went to Jodie Foster for a part. And I think I did it three movies in a row, maybe four. And I met her, and I liked her. And I thought it was going to get her. And I think she's just great, Jodie Foster," said The Phoenician Scheme director, who has an Academy Award of his own. Anderson is known for his expansive ensemble casts, which have led to a series of acting nominations at major awards ceremonies. Oscar-winning actors like Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, and Angelica Huston have returned to collaborate with Anderson on film after film over the said he "loved" Foster in the first movie she directed, Little Man Tate, in which she plays the mother: "She has this real sparkle. She has a lightness in it. It's just a different kind of character." Though he wouldn't specify which films he offered the industry veteran, who has been acting since she was a child, Anderson said, "I still would like to get Jodie Foster. But I guess after asking few times, I thought maybe I'm not — I think sometimes somebody has an idea of the kind of work they want to do at that time in his or her life, and we weren't right." Even so, Anderson said, "She's pretty amazing." Anderson's newest film, The Phoenician Scheme, features a panoply performing giants, including Benicio del Toro, Michael Cera, Riz Ahmed, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Mathieu Amalric, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Richard Ayoade, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rupert Friend, and Hope Davis. Del Toro stars as the wealthy industrialist Anatole "Zsa-Zsa" Korda, and though the Puerto Rican star has "been doing movies for a long time," he told Entertainment Weekly in May that there's "one sequence in the movie when you see it where it's like, wow." Recalling the film's hypnotic, slow-motion opening credits sequence, which is shot from overhead, del Toro said, "That's one of those things that you think you've figured it all out. And here I am doing another movie with a great director, and he's telling me to do this, and I go home, and I'm glad I was a prune for about five days after that sequence.
