Blackpink's Jisoo finally drops the full jungle-themed video for new song Your Love; here's everything to know

Blackpink might be knee-deep into their Deadline tour, but the members' solo magic is still in full swing. This week, Jisoo decided to take a little detour from the stage, straight into the jungle as she released a new music video. On August 12, the K-pop icon dropped a much-awaited, dreamy video for her song Your Love on YouTube and across social media. In just a few minutes, she managed to melt hearts with this tender, jungle-themed video. Blackpink's Jisoo
The reactions were, as always, rather positive. 'The queen of kpop coming to drop another iconic video 🔥🔥 we love to see it,' read one comment on X. One more BLINK comment claimed, 'Your love by Jisoo — visuals are EVERYTHING, this is cinema!' Other fans seemed to share the sentiment. '10/10 from my side,' said one, while another claimed, 'Oh she's a bop.'
What is Blackpink up to?
While fans are hitting replay on the teaser, there's even more Blackpink news stirring the pot. According to Soompi, citing an industry insider, all four members — Lisa, Jennie, Rose, and Jisoo — are preparing to release a mini album later this year. The group has reportedly already completed their album jacket photoshoot and is putting the finishing touches on production. The insider revealed: 'BLACKPINK has to release an album within the year. The original goal was to release it in October, but the schedule has been changed. They plan to release it in November and, if possible, perform on stage.'
YG Entertainment is keeping mum for now, promising that official announcements will come later. But between Jisoo's jungle-set romance and whispers of a group comeback, BLINKs have more than enough reason to keep their calendars wide open.

Saiyaara would have 'flopped' if Shah Rukh Khan was in it, actor Varun Badola says superstar is 'too big for the film'

Actor Varun Badola, who was recently seen in the new release, Saiyaara, has been grabbing headlines for his views on the film's success these days. Badola has now opened up about the Star VS Content debate and whether movies no longer require big stars. Varun Badola discusses whether Saiyaara's success means star power is not essential In a new interview with Nayandeep Rakshit for his YouTube channel, Varun Badola pushed back against the idea that the success of Saiyaara proves that films no longer need big stars. The actor argued that the scale of a project dictates the star power required. Badola then stressed the importance of big stars by comparing Shah Rukh Khan 's superstardom to newcomer Ahaan Panday. The 51-year-old actor dismissed the notion of people believing that Saiyaara has proved that the audience doesn't need stars anymore. Varun Badola compares Shah Rukh Khan and Ahaan Panday for a film's success mantra 'Abhi tum Ahaan Panday ko utha ke Jawan mein daalo, Jawan flop ho jayegi. Shah Rukh ko Saiyaara mein daal do, Saiyaara flop ho jayegi ("If you put Ahaan Panday in Jawan, Jawan will flop. Put Shah Rukh [Khan] in Saiyaara, it will flop,)' he shared. The Sky Force actor further explained that Shah Rukh Khan will become 'too big' for Saiyaara, considering his stardom. Speaking about Ahaan, Badola added that the young actor will not have the personality to run a big spectacle like Jawan. Which role did Varun Badola play in Saiyaara? Saiyaara starred Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda as the main leads. While Ahaan played the role of a musician, Krish Kapoor, Aneet was cast as Vaani Batra, a writer. Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara also featured actors like Rajesh Kumar, Shaad Randhawa, and Neil Bhoopalam. Actor Varun Badola was cast as Krish Kapoor's father, Ashok Kapoor. He is also a part of the new release, War 2. While the traditional model of a superstar guaranteeing a film's success has been severely challenged, star power has not completely vanished. Instead, it has evolved into a more complex dynamic where content is now a critical co-factor.

BTS' Jungkook's Instagram update revives famous 'Liskook' ship as BLACKPINK's Lisa drops Dream MV hinting at past relationship

All K-pop shippers have been in full detective mode ever since BLACKPINK's Lisa dropped her new music video, DREAM, which appears to reference a past relationship with a heartbreaking ending. Starring Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi, DREAM premiered on Thursday (August 14) and instantly reignited the long-dormant #Liskook ship. And who is that, you ask? None other than BTS member Jungkook. Adding fuel to the speculation, Jungkook recently shared an intriguing new update on Instagram. LISA's DREAM music video delivers a heartfelt cinematic story with Kentaro Sakaguchi BLACKPINK's LISA has unveiled her latest single, DREAM, with a music video that feels more like a short film than a standard pop release. Co-starring popular Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi and directed by Ojun Kwon, the project marks a notable shift from LISA's signature high-energy tracks, embracing a slower, more soulful ballad style. The song's lyrics dwell on themes of yearning and the fragile hope of reconnection, wrapped in imagery that blurs the edges of memory and reality, which hints at a love story that was unfortunately cut short. Rather than relying on flashy choreography or elaborate sets, the video focuses on soft camera movements, muted lighting, and a nostalgic colour palette to set the tone. While DREAM might surprise fans expecting her usual pop punch, it showcases another side of LISA — one that leans into vulnerability and storytelling. The combination of her emotive delivery and Sakaguchi's subtle performance creates a layered portrait of love and distance that lingers long after the video ends. Jungkook's Instagram post fuels renewed dating rumours with BLACKPINK's Lisa Jungkook has stirred fresh chatter online after fans began linking his recent Instagram activity to BLACKPINK's Lisa. The timing was enough to 'reignite' long-standing dating rumours between the two idols, which have occasionally surfaced over the years. It was also noticeable because Jungkook has barely updated anything on his personal Instagram account that he recently launched. Just hours before Lisa unveiled her new DREAM music video, Jungkook posted an Instagram story featuring the track Stay by Gracie Abrams. While on its own the post might seem unrelated, fans quickly began drawing connections — noting that the song's themes of longing and emotional distance echo the tone of Lisa's ballad. Jungkook later followed up with another Instagram song recommendation, this time featuring Weather by Novo Amor. Some netizens suggested the timing was too coincidental to ignore, especially given that both idols are among the most-watched figures in K-pop and any overlap in their activities tends to spark speculation. Others argued it could simply be a case of fans reading too much into a song choice, pointing out that Jungkook has often shared music he enjoys without deeper meaning. It gets to a point…😀😀😀liskook truther in me is coming out#LISAxDREAM Jungkook I cannot defend you your timings are kinda……😭 Regardless of intent, the post fuelled conversation across social media, with K-pop fans dissecting the possible link between Jungkook's story and Lisa's release. As Baek Jena - the cold, impeccably stylish "queen bee" of a prestigious high school - she delivers such precision in posture, gaze, and dialogue that many viewers had a moment of disbelief. "Before, I used to map out every move," she shares. "Now, I can just be present in the scene - living as the character, not performing for the camera." From idol to actress Though Yeri has been an idol for over a decade, her acting career is still in its early chapters. Earlier this year, she signed with an acting-focused agency and debuted in cinema with ' Gangleung: Ghost Play '.
