I'm fuming because someone keeps parking in my PRIVATE space – they park like an idiot too & ignore my notes

A RESIDENT has been left fuming thanks to a rude driver continuously parking in their private parking space.
The homeowner took to Reddit to share their predicament, alongside a picture of the offending car.

And as well as taking up the space, which is assigned to the poster's home, the person has been ignoring their notes as well.
"I have left notes yet they refuse to leave and have parked like an idiot," they sighed, showing the car parked diagonally inside the covered parking spot.
The situation is made all the more annoying by the fact that the driver "torments the building" by revving the engine "late at night as well".
The homeowner concluded by asking: "Is there a legal solution to this?"
People were quick to comment on the post, with one explaining: "Unfortunately the law is rather backwards in this scenario.
"Someone parking on your driveway, or otherwise on private property you own or are the tenant of is trespassing, and most types of trespassing are a civil offence in the UK.
"The police and the local authority can do nothing unless it is abandoned - if it has tax, MOT, and insurance, you're unlikely to get anywhere on the abandoned car route."
And while others had suggested putting a "hinged, locked bollard" in front of the spot to prevent the person parking there, the person warned that they could "get in some trouble" if they did that.
"I've got a private space in the city and had issues with the same person using it repeatedly," someone else said.
"Unless it's a managed space, there isn't a whole lot you can do.
The moment furious neighbour yells 'If I die, you're for it' at student in bitter parking space row
"The only thing that worked for me was blocking the car in with another car and leaving a note with my phone number on there.
"I refused to let them out unless they apologised and promised not to do it again - and it worked, fortunately!"
"Definitely parked like that to prevent it being towed away cleanly," another wrote.
"Not that towing it would be legal anyway, in this situation at least (may or may not be in others).
"This suggests they're fully aware they shouldn't be there, and are willing to be unreasonable so they can keep parking there.
"Probably why the notes have gone ignored."
"It's not even taxed since July 1 lol," someone else pointed out.
To which the poster replied: "It's now been reported to both the council and government.
"Thank you all for your help!"

Shame of Malibu woman arrested on balcony of mansion after terrorizing millionaire neighbors and firing arrows onto beach

A Malibu woman was arrested on her balcony in a dramatic scene after she horrified her wealthy neighbors with a bow and arrow, according to police. The 68-year-old, who has not been identified by officials, was accused of shooting arrows at people from her beachfront mansion in the 25000 block of Malibu Road on Wednesday. Police were called to the scene in the millionaire conclave after a man reported the woman had shot an arrow at him before she retreated inside the home. It was an unusual scene in the wealthy area, known for its vast beachfront mansions and many celebrity neighbors. Neighbor Larry May told ABC 7 the woman 'was not happy with the dogs that we sometimes have on the beach' and 'was shooting arrows at people.' Negotiators, as well as the woman's siblings, were on the scene trying to convince her to surrender. But the nearly nine-hour standoff only ended when police entered the woman's home and took her into custody on the balcony, officials said. Footage from the scene showed the woman being taken into custody on her balcony by heavily-armed police officers. During the standoff, the woman was seen throwing her things out on the sand and screaming threats. Police said the woman shot at two people with the bow and arrow, but they were not struck. Footage from the standoff shows clothes, trash and other items scattered on the sand below the woman's balcony, which was littered with objects. Neighbors said it was clear the woman was having some sort of mental health crisis. The woman was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation. Officials said they will work to determine whether she is booked into jail or taken to another medical facility. It's unclear if the woman owns the home, but police said she is 'associated' with it. The woman's neighbors said that it was not the first time she exhibited strange and threatening behavior. Neighbor Carolina Cohen said she had exhibited similar behavior just days before her arrest. 'This woman was screaming all kinds of obscenities, and then she started throwing all kinds of objects that she had inside the house,' Cohen told ABC 7. Homes in the wealthy beachside conclave have a median sale price of about $3.8million.

Forza Horizon 6 setting leaks ahead of 2026 launch

The setting for the next Forza Horizon game has seemingly leaked via a car company, following a tease from Microsoft's Phil Spencer. Xbox might be synonymous with Halo and Gears Of War, but Forza Horizon is arguably the company's strongest franchise (if you don't count Call Of Duty) in the current console generation. This is evident following Forza Horizon 5's launch on PlayStation 5 in April, after the acclaimed game sold two million copies in one month. The original game came out on Xbox Series X/S and PC almost four years ago, in November 2021. An inevitable sequel is presumably on the horizon (sorry), and thanks to a now-deleted post on Instagram, we might know what the setting will be. As posted on Reddit, an Australian car import company called Cult & Classic posted a picture on their Instagram Stories showing someone from the Forza Horizon team taking photos of cars 'for the next installation in the series' (we're assuming they meant instalment). The vehicles in question are Kei cars, which are small cars predominantly seen on expressways in Japan. The caption states a team member has flown out to use the cars 'as the basis for their digital versions' because 'there are no late-model Kei cars in America'. Considering Kei cars are rarely seen outside of Japan, it makes sense that developer Playground Games would be scanning the cars for a Japan-set entry – a location which has been highly requested by fans. After the post circulated online, the Cult & Classic account swiftly took down the picture too, suggesting it may have been an accidental slip. More Trending Forza Horizon 6 hasn't been technically announced, but Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer confirmed earlier this year a new Forza game will be released in 2026. here's Xbox chief Phil Spencer announcing Gears of War: E-Day for 2026, and in the same year "the next Forza" and a tease of a Halo CE remaster — Tom Warren (@tomwarren) June 8, 2025 Speaking during the Xbox Games Showcase, Spencer said: 'I'm excited to share that players will get to celebrate 25 years of Xbox with a new Fable, the next Forza, Gears Of War E-Day, and the return of a classic that's been with us since the beginning.' While 'the next Forza' could technically mean a new Forza Motorsport title, the last entry in that series came out in 2023 – so another Forza Horizon should be next. Forza Horizon 5 was set in Mexico, with previous entries spanning the UK, Australia, the US, Italy, and France. Email gamecentral@ leave a comment below, follow us on Twitter.
