Shuvee Etrata, Anthony Constantino to star in Jenzen Guino's 'Marupok' MV

Shuvee Etrata and Anthony Constantino are set to appear in their first project together! In a social media post, rising OPM star Jenzen Guino announced that the Sparkle actors will be starring in the music video of his song "Marupok." "Sa mga kagaya naming marurupok—para sa inyo 'to!" he wrote in the caption. The music video is set to be released on August 22 at 8 p.m. Shuvee was among the 20 housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." She and her fellow Boarders ni Kuya recently reunited for "The Big ColLove" fancon at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. During the concert, Shuvee gave a shoutout to Anthony, once again saying that he is her TDH—tall, dark, and handsome. Anthony was one of the people who welcomed Shuvee back to the outside world after she and Klarisse de Guzman were evicted from Bahay ni Kuya. The model, who signed with Sparkle earlier this year, has been courting Shuvee even before she joined PBB. Meanwhile, Shuvee currently appears in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" as Veshdita, a Mine-a-ve warrior. She is also set to star in with Dingdong Dantes and fellow former PBB housemate Charlie Fleming in upcoming series "Master Cutter." —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News

Pirena fails to secure fire gem against Olgana

Pirena (Glaiza De Castro) succeeded in taking back the fire gem from Mine-a-ve general Olgana (Bianca Manalo) but her victory was short-lived. On Monday's episode, Pirena confronted Olgana after coming to Terra's rescue in the mortal world. Olgana was using the fire gem lent to her by Mitena (Rhian Ramos), so Pirena saw the opportunity to claim it back. She ordered the fire gem to return to its true master. The two played tug-of-war with the gem, but Pirena eventually won and transformed into her battle armor. Olgana, however, attacked Pirena's neck and once again took the gem after the Sang'gre went down. Terra (Bianca Umali) rushed to Pirena, who told her to use the ivictus to take them to safety in the home of the duwende. Terra and the duwende healed Pirena's injury, and when she regained consciousness, she told her niece about her true identity as a Sang'gre and her destiny as Encantadia's savior. Meanwhile in Lireo, Flamarra (Faith Da Silva), Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), and the other Encantados broke out of jail to escape the castle, which is under Mitena's control. "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it on YouTube via the Kapuso Stream. —MGP, GMA Integrated News

Liza Soberano reveals reason behind breakup with Enrique Gil

Liza Soberano recently went viral after her tell-all on "Can I Come In?" where she confirmed her break up from Enrique Gil three years ago. On Monday, 'Fast Talk With Boy Abunda' aired a previously unreleased 12-minute video of the King of Talk's interview with Liza from 2023, in which they discussed her relationship with the Kapamilya actor. 'Quen and I have decided to separate ways and that is because our values and the way we see life doesn't just align anymore,' Liza said in the video. According to Liza, the changes she experienced in 2022 eventually made it difficult for them to support each other the way they used to. 'So we decided that it was just easier to separate ways and kinda find ourselves first, kinda explore before we take it to the next level,' she said. Liza and Quen had been together for nearly eight years, and were already getting asked about marriage. 'I came to the point where I didn't know if that's what I wanted anymore honestly 'cause there's so much more that I wanted to achieve and he's older than me. He's in his 30s, of course he is thinking about settling down, starting a family and so it just doesn't line up anymore,' she said in the video. The unreleased 12-minute video shown during Monday's episode came from Liza's two-part interview with Boy Abunda in March 2023, shortly after she had caused a ruckus with her controversial vlog, "This is Me." Explaining why the portion of the interview was cut back then, Tito Boy said Liza had requested for it not to air. In "Can I Come In?" Liza also opened up about her traumatic childhood, and the plenty abuses she endured. — Jade Veronique Yap/LA, GMA Integrated News
