Will Millie Bobby Brown's Stranger Things season 5 premiere in 2026? New release date hints revealed
The fifth and final season of
Stranger Things
is anticipated to premiere in 2025, with rumors suggesting a staggered release across three parts. According to reports, the episodes may debut in October 2025, followed by additional releases in November 2025 and early 2026.
This approach aims to accommodate the season's extended length and cinematic scale, as cast member
Maya Hawke
described the episodes as "basically eight movies".
Netflix has not officially confirmed this release strategy. However, during a recent Upfront event in New York City, cast members unveiled exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, though no specific release date was announced . Further details may be revealed at Netflix's global fan event, Tudum, scheduled for May 31.
Stranger Things Season 5
The highly anticipated final season of Stranger Things is slated for release in 2025, following a production schedule that began in January 2024 and concluded in December 2024. The season will feature eight episodes, set in the fall of 1987, approximately one year after the events of Season 4 . The main cast, including
Millie Bobby Brown
as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, and David Harbour as Jim Hopper, will reprise their roles.
While Netflix has confirmed a 2025 release, there is speculation about the distribution format. A recent leak suggests that the season might be released in three parts: one in October 2025, another in November 2025, and the final installment in early 2026 . However, Netflix has not officially confirmed this staggered release plan.
Live Events
The episode titles, unveiled during Stranger Things Day on November 6, 2024, include "The Crawl," "The Vanishing Of _____," "The Turnbow Trap," "Sorcerer," "Shock Jock," "Escape from Camazotz," "The Bridge," and "The Rightside Up." These titles suggest a return to the show's roots, with nods to earlier episodes and themes .
As the series approaches its conclusion, fans can expect an emotional and thrilling finale that promises to tie up the long-running mysteries and character arcs. While the exact release schedule remains unconfirmed, the excitement surrounding the final season continues to build.

‘What did I say!' Check Rana Daggubati's reaction when he realised he was abusing Venkatesh in Rana Naidu Season 2
As fans eagerly await the release of Rana Naidu Season 2, actor Rana Daggubati shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes moment he witnessed with his maternal uncle, Venkatesh Daggubati, during the shooting of the show. Talking to The Indian Express' SCREEN, Rana said he didn't realise until much later that he was abusing his mama on screen in the first season of Rana Naidu. 'Shit! What did I say!' was the actor's first reaction when he learnt what his Hindi dialogues meant. 'Since it was Hindi, I didn't understand much of what I said in part 1. So I thought it was okay. It was worse when I was dubbing it in Telugu,' Rana shared. However, the actor said that since both of them were in 'very definite attire and look,' they were all fine. 'We're licensed to do anything,' he laughed. The 'Baahubali' actor said that ever since he became an actor, he had always thought he would work with his uncle Venkatesh. 'From the time I made it as an actor, I always thought I'd work with him at some point of time. I was really looking forward to what that project would be,' he told SCREEN. 'As a co-actor, he's pretty phenomenal and charges us to be better each time,' Rana said, sharing his experience of working with his uncle in Rana Naidu. The actor also added that the Netflix India series is 'something unique that came our way. It's not something he or I have done before.' 'These characters can just go on because they started from such opposite ends that you can travel with them across multiple seasons,' he added. Rana Daggubati also acknowledged that Rana Naidu is 'the only 'pan-Indian' show,' as his co-star Abhishek Banerjee rightly pointed out. Fans can watch Rana Naidu Season 2 on Netflix. The OTT giant will begin streaming it on Friday, June 13.
