X Factor star 'splits from husband of 8 years' as she makes Glastonbury debut
A former X Factor star has split from her husband of eight years as she also makes her Glastonbury debut. Lucie Jones and Ethan Boroian are no longer together, according to reports.
The couple had met each other during their X Factor auditions in 2009, but they have now called it quits. It's said the duo are quietly going through a divorce and Lucie no longer followers her husband on social media.
It's claimed the pair have simply grown apart in their relationship. A source said the duo realised they were "young when they married" and now Lucie's focus has changed.
Speaking to the Sun, an insider said: "She has been busy focusing on pursuing her career on the West End stage and travelling the globe, they're moving on with their lives. Lucie's in a really good place and has already moved on and met someone else and has loved performing at Glastonbury."
They added: "Ethan is no longer in showbusiness and their lives were headed in different directions."
Lucie's appearance at Glastonbury was the first time she had been on the stage at the Worthy Farm festival. Before the weekend, she promised "cool surprises" during the "huge celebration of music and theatre" as she got ready for a three-day spell.
She admitted she was delighted when she got the call to be involved. Speaking to the Mirror before the sets, she explained what people could expert from her.
She said: "When I was there last year, I was like, 'why is there no musical theatre here?' I was just walking around and I was thinking, these people would love a bit of defying gravity.
"I think a lot of people think of musical theatre as like jazz hands and tap dance. But that just isn't the style that I do. It's going to be super upbeat and you're going to know every song. There's a bit of that in musical theatre, of course, but it's a whole world of other stuff as well."
And she went on to tease more about her sets. "There's a couple of friends that I've got that are playing at Glastonbury who, quite possibly will be joining me, or I'll be joining them during their set," she said.
"I'm really excited about one or two of them. It's going to be super cool and they're not necessarily musical theatre acts."
Lucie previously represented the UK in Eurovision. Following her stint on the contest eight years ago she then credited the X Factor for "changing her life". The series produced a number of stars including winner Joe McElderry, who Lucie still keeps in touch with now. "I'm going to Ibiza tomorrow and I'm going to see Joe McElderry," she said.

She continued: "All this to say, at 47, I've finally found my voice and it's clear, unapologetic and brutally honest. "To those that fear its truth, you probably have reason to, I have receipts, to those that need to hear it, I've got you and I fully intend to continue using it to change the laws and legislation that neglect women and children in this country and around the world." Myleene concluded with the bible quote "And the truth will set you free' John 8.32,' before adding her own words: 'And then some." After the incident with the unnamed female celebrity took place, Myleene said that her ex-husband pleaded for her forgiveness and blamed his actions on alcohol. Speaking to Paul on his podcast, Myleene said she has come to terms with the past ordeal, despite it turning her life "upside down". Myleene and Graham, who was once her bodyguard, began their relationship during her time with Hear'Say and were together for six years before welcoming their daughter Ava in 2007. They welcomed their second daughter, Hero Harper, in 2011, which was the same year they got married. However, Graham exited their marriage just six months in, leading to their divorce in 2013. Myleene opened up about her gut-wrenching feeling before her doomed wedding, confessing that "something didn't feel right". Recalling the night before the ceremony, she said: "I was in the bath and I was just sobbing." She also described the nuptials as catastrophic, saying: "My best mate wasn't even at my wedding. It was miserable... I literally cried the entire reception." She added: "We had to haggle our way through with the restaurant, could we have some burgers and put the tables together? Josie, who is a familiar face from ITV's This Morning, has been immersed in filming her new show, Josie Gibson's Big Country Build, which follows her journey as she turns her Somerset abode into an eco-friendly sanctuary with assistance from her nearest and dearest. GMB aired a promotional clip for the upcoming seven-part series, revealing Josie's candid experiences of embarking on such an ambitious renovation project, including how it has drained her finances. In conversation with the hosts, Josie opened up about the hurdles of working alongside family and friends during the transformation process. Ranvir initiated the discussion by remarking, "You know what, you used to live in a caravan before all of this, and now, just a few years later, you've bought this enormous house. You're a great British success story, Josie!" To which Josie humorously responded, "Well, I'm moving back into a caravan, I don't know about that!" Josie's upcoming ITV programme, created by MGM Alternative, is scheduled to broadcast in 2026. ITV has not yet announced a definitive launch date. The fresh television venture comes after her four-part Channel 5 travel programme, Around the World in First Class, which debuted earlier this year. The show saw the presenter journeying to destinations including Hong Kong.
