Chris Brown pleads not guilty to 'bottle attack' charge
R&B singer Chris Brown has pleaded not guilty to attempting to cause grievous bodily harm in an alleged bottle attack at a London nightclub.
The Grammy-winning musician, 36, is accused of attempting to unlawfully and maliciously cause grievous bodily harm with intent to Abraham Diaw at the Tape venue in Hanover Square, Mayfair, on February 19, 2023.

The US singer has continued his international tour, appearing in Cardiff on Thursday night, after he was bailed for a security fee of £5m.
Manchester Magistrates' Court heard last month that Mr Diaw was standing at the bar of the nightclub when he was struck several times with a bottle, and was then pursued to a separate area of the venue where he was punched and kicked repeatedly.

He is said to have flown into Manchester Airport on a private jet in preparation for the UK tour dates.
He was released from HMP Forest Bank in Salford, Greater Manchester, on May 21.
Shortly after being released from prison, the musician posted an Instagram story referencing his upcoming tour.
It said: 'FROM THE CAGE TO THE STAGE!!! BREEZYBOWL.'

Woman appears in court charged with murdering her sister at north London home
Nancy Pexton, also 69, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Friday charged with murdering her older sister Jennifer Abbott, also known as Sarah Steinberg, last Tuesday. It is understood Pexton and Ms Abbott are sisters, and Pexton is nine months younger than Ms Abbott. A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as sharp force trauma. Neighbours said they regularly saw Ms Abbott walking her pet corgi in the area with one describing her as 'exuberant' and 'vivacious'. The Metropolitan Police previously said officers were investigating whether Ms Abbott's death was linked to a diamond-encrusted Rolex missing from her home. In a short hearing, Pexton spoke only to confirm her name and date of birth. Softly-spoken Pexton, of no fixed address, wore a grey prison issue tracksuit and was flanked by two security officers in the dock. Deputy District Judge Lee Marklew remanded the 69-year-old in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday June 24. He told her: 'You will meet your barrister and will be given some advice in the coming weeks. 'This is an administrative hearing. You will be remanded in custody until then.'

Just a week prior, Jesy shared the uplifting news that her baby twins had made it to their family home for the first time. Throughout Jesy's pregnancy and hospitalisation, Zion has been a constant source of support by her side. In early May, the couple sparked rumours of a secret wedding when Zion posted a series of black and white snaps on social media, showing him and Jesy grinning and chuckling together in bed. Jesy fuelled speculation by commenting "My husband" beneath the photos, which sent fans into a frenzy of excitement.
