Zach Bryan, John Mayer will headline first-ever concert at Michigan Stadium
Multi-platinum country music star Zach Bryan and seven-time Grammy-winning artist John Mayer will co-headline the first-ever concert at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor this fall.
Bryan and Mayer will be joined by special guests Ryan Bingham and the Texas Gentlemen and Joshua Slone for the Sept. 27 show.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m. through AXS.
"We are excited to have award-winning artist Zach Bryan perform the very first concert at Michigan Stadium," said Michigan Director of Athletics Warde Manuel. "I would like to thank the Board of Regents, President Ono, the Executive Officers of the University, and many of our athletic department staff, as well as AEG Presents, for all the work that has brought us to this point in the process. We have been studying and evaluating what it takes to host a concert at Michigan Stadium for a couple of years, and today marks that next step in the venture with great partners."
Michigan Stadium is the largest stadium in the Western Hemisphere and the third largest stadium in the world. It can hold more than 110,000 people for some sporting events.
Nicknamed "The Big House," Michigan Stadium first opened in 1927 and has hosted several prominent sporting events in addition to Wolverines football, like the NHL Winter Classic and several International Champions Cup soccer matches.
Michigan established an NCAA single-game attendance record of 115,109 fans in a 2013 night game against Notre Dame.
Bryan recently capped off his "The Quittin' Time Tour," which saw him play 85 arenas and stadiums across North America. The Grammy winner and Oklahoma native will headline the Stagecoach Festival 2025 in Indio, California, and BST Hyde Park Festival 2025 in London, England.

Kaytranada Returns With New Album ‘Ain't No Damn Way'
For the second summer in a row, Haitian-Canadian producer Kaytranada is getting people dancing with a new studio album. The Grammy-winning DJ has released his fourth album Ain't No Damn Way!, the follow-up to last year's Timeless. Kaytranada gave little warning for the release, announcing the LP earlier this week and dropping lead single 'Space Invader' shortly thereafter. Like with Timeless, Kaytranada plays with a wide range of sounds and rhythms on the project, from more upbeat tracks like 'Championship' and 'Don't Worry Babe / I Got U Babe' to laid-back offerings like 'Things' and 'Shine Your Light For We.' He even samples TLC's 'Let's Do It Again' on closing track 'Do It! (Again!).' In recent years, Kaytranada has fully stepped into his power, unafraid to create beats or make musical tweaks that he feel might not resonate with listeners or collaborators. 'I always used to be very shy in the studio and sometimes let the artists just do their thing because I didn't want to correct them or anything. It took me a while to understand, OK, I got to be the one that says 'Do it like this,'" he told Rolling Stone last year. "I don't have a leader mentality. I'm learning to do that now.' Now, Kaytranada is 'trying to make Grammy-winning albums.' 'I just want to be remembered as one of the greats in terms of producing, not only dance and electronic but also just production in general,' he told Billboard. Kaytranada hits the road with Justice on a co-headlining tour across North America this fall. It all kicks off Oct. 16 in Vancouver and wraps up Nov. 16 in Miami. Before then, fans can listen to the producer featured on Teyana Taylor's forthcoming album Escape Room, due out next week.

San Francisco neighbors fed up as 3 straight weekends of concerts wrap up at Golden Gate Park
Three weekends. Three massive concerts. Tens of thousands of fans packing Golden Gate Park. From Dead & Company's concert series to the three-day Outside Lands festival, and now, country star Zach Bryan headlining the Polo Field on Friday night, San Francisco has been a music capital this month. The concerts brought a big economic boost for businesses across the city, but for some neighbors living near the park, it's been three weekends of frustration. "The biggest challenge for me has been parking," said Franco Fortin, who lives about a block from the Polo Field. "I do not have a garage or a driveway spot. So I have to street park." Fortin said last Saturday, during Outside Lands, he drove out around noon. When he returned, he couldn't find parking for 30 minutes and eventually parked his car 12 blocks away from home. Neighbors said traffic, parking headaches, and noise have become routine whenever a major event takes over Golden Gate Park. On the city's 311 website, complaints poured in over the last two weekends. Residents reported blocked driveways, trash, urine bottles, and plenty of noise. Some of the comments were explicit: "Shut that ******* noise off. They just don't ******* care." Another person wrote: "Take your Outside ******* Lands and go **** yourselves. This is a residential neighborhood." Not everyone was completely against the shows. But even big music fans admit they're relieved the streak is over. "Three long weekends and I'm glad it's finally over," said neighbor Spencer Miller. Others turned the chaos into an opportunity. Some rented out driveway spots for cash. Two middle schoolers even set up a stand to sell homemade cookies and brownies to concert-goers. "A long time ago, we saw our neighbors doing it. So we decided to do it. And then we made money, so we kept doing it," said 14-year-old Nicholas Sweeney. Despite the inconvenience, Fortin says the concerts have been good for the city's economy, and local businesses in particular. He hopes San Francisco comes up with a plan to help residents next summer, such as temporary parking permits. Recreation and Park officials said they're aware of the complaints and are working with public transit agencies to ease congestion. But a long-term solution for next year's events may take time. The good news for neighbors: Friday night's Zach Bryan show is just a one-day event—unlike Outside Lands and Dead & Company's three-day runs.
