Pamela Anderson's relationship timeline, from Tommy Lee to Liam Neeson rumors
From bombshell Playboy cover star to natural beauty revolutionizer, Pamela Anderson has captivated onlookers over multiple eras.
The "Baywatch" alum has captured a number of hearts over the years, including five marriages and a handful of other suitors. The actress' love life has been almost as headline-making as her career, amassing much media attention and tabloid speculation.
Now, rumors of a budding romance with her "Naked Gun" co-star Liam Neeson have sparked interest in another possible chance at love for both parties.
From embattled and high-strung romances to one three-time divorcée, here's a look at her relationship timeline.
Pamela Anderson, Liam Neeson dodge dating rumors on 'Today' show: 'Are you two an item?'
1995: Tommy Lee
Anderson and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, now 62, married in February 1995, after four days of knowing each other. The couple would go on to have two sons: Brandon Thomas and Dylan Jagger.
During their romance, a home video the couple made was stolen by a disgruntled electrician and sold and distributed as a sex tape in 1996, making Anderson the subject of controversy. "Pam & Tommy," Hulu's 2022 limited series about the stolen sex tape, dramatized the incident but without Anderson's involvement, sparking outrage against the producers and reopening wounds for Anderson.
Lee's jealousy also tainted their fairy-tale union, spurred from Anderson's "Baywatch" scenes with other men, Anderson wrote in her 2023 memoir, "Love, Pamela." The despair from the relationship led to Anderson's suicide attempt.

Parenthood proved stressful for Lee, Anderson shared. His desire to be his wife's main priority erupted one evening into a physical altercation. She said Lee twisted her arm as she was holding a 7-week-old Dylan, and after Brandon clung to her, Lee threw the older son off and threw Anderson and Dylan into a wall. Anderson would go on to call the police, and Lee was arrested and sentenced to six months in jail for spousal abuse. Anderson called her divorce from Lee "the hardest, lowest, most difficult point of my life."
Although Anderson said the two had a brief reunion after his release, it didn't last because "neither of us could forgive the other, deep down. We just weren't equipped to get through it all."
The couple divorced in 1998, but reconciled multiple times in the 2000s.
2006: Kid Rock
Anderson and Kid Rock, now 54, reportedly started dating in 2001 and broke up before reconciling and marrying in 2006. She suffered a miscarriage in November of that year, while filming the comedy "Blonde and Blonder" in Vancouver, Canada. News that Anderson and Rock, born Robert Ritchie, had separately filed for divorce came shortly after, with both citing "irreconcilable differences."
2007: Rick Salomon
Anderson married high-stakes poker player (and Paris Hilton's ex-boyfriend) Rick Salomon, now 57, in October 2007 on the Las Vegas Strip. The couple separated two months later, and in February 2008, she requested the marriage be annulled due to fraud. They reconciled and remarried in January 2014. She filed for divorce a second time in July of that year, but had a judge throw out the request. Anderson again announced the couple had remarried in September 2014, before filing for divorce a third and final time in February 2015.
2017: Adil Rami
Anderson briefly mentioned her relationship to an unnamed soccer player – former French footballer Adil Rami, now 39 – in her 2023 Netflix documentary "Pamela, A Love Story." The couple reportedly dated on and off from early 2017 until 2019.
2020: Dan Hayhurst
Anderson dated and married her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst during the pandemic, wedding on Christmas Eve 2020. She said on on the British talk show "Loose Women" in 2021 that they had met on her family's property. "He was working here and I got stuck here during COVID and we stuck together," she said, calling Hayhurst "useful" and a "real man."
Anderson filed for divorce in January 2022.
2025: Liam Neeson
Neeson, 73, and Anderson began spurring interest in their relationship amid promotion of their reboot of the beloved 1980s and '90s action franchise "The Naked Gun." Posing on the red carpet at the film's London premiere, Anderson leaned up and gave Neeson a smooch on his cheek. As they took photos with one of the film's producers, she was seen clasping the Oscar nominee's hand around her left hip.
Later, on an appearance on the "Today" show, co-anchor Craig Melvin bluntly asked if they were dating: "You're both single right now. There's clearly chemistry on display throughout this film. Are you two an item?"
Neeson replied, "Craig!" as Anderson coyly quipped, "What? I don't understand the question." Neeson then explained to Melvin that he "had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry as two actors."
Neeson, who was previously married to British actress Natasha Richardson from 1994 until her death in 2009 at age 45, added that their approach to their chemistry was "like, 'Oh, this is nice. Let's not mold this. Let's just let it breathe,' and that's what we did."
A post shared by Pamela Anderson (@pamelaanderson)
On the release day of the film, Anderson posted a set of Instagram photos of the pair smiling and laughing together, and of Neeson taking her photo as she sweetly poses on the ground. "The Naked Gun is finally in theatres! Bring your friends, family, lovers… whoever… just go and have a laugh…" she wrote.

The big question inside Disney: What's going to happen to Hulu?
Nine Disney streaming staffers tell Business Insider that it's become impossible to ignore the company's increasing emphasis on Disney+ over Hulu. "Internally, the Hulu brand isn't a priority," an employee on the ads side of Disney's streaming business said. The Mouse House has been steering bundle subscribers to the Disney+ app by loading it with most Hulu movies and shows and some ESPN content. Unbundled Disney subscribers can also watch some Hulu and ESPN shows free of charge on Disney+. But Disney+ content isn't available on Hulu. Disney CEO Bob Iger said in May that these changes are "definitely having a positive impact" on the streamer's engagement and cancellation rate. Disney is also making changes internally. It's discouraging Hulu-only ad buys and merging the platforms' ad servers, employees said. Two sales-side employees said they need special permission to sell a Hulu-only ad spot, excluding certain interactive ads that only work on Hulu. They said the sales team is pushing advertisers instead to buy across both Disney+ and Hulu, as part of what one of the staffers called a "massive" companywide push "to prioritize Disney+ over everything." And last week, Disney moved to a unified ad server for Disney+ and Hulu. This shift, known internally as "Mission Control," was labor-intensive and at times painful but necessary, the employees said. "Everything going through one ad server makes a lot less work for everyone involved when it comes to getting ad campaigns live," the first ads employee said. Disney's changes show the Hulu brand is now decidedly on the back burner, this person said. They viewed the shift as mostly positive and said further unification of Disney+ and Hulu would give consumers a better experience while simplifying the ad sales process. Hulu fans' migration to Disney+ is off to a slow start, so far. Two Disney streaming employees with access to viewer data said the overwhelming majority of Hulu viewership still comes directly from the Hulu app, not through Disney+. Hulu has centered its identity on dramas and comedies for adults and next-day TV. Disney is seeing some progress, though: One Hulu-focused streaming employee said the "Hulu on Disney+" section has been starting to get more engagement as subscribers start to discover that they can use Disney+ as an all-in-one app. However, the Hulu-focused employee, who's familiar with the service's analytics, said many Hulu subscribers don't pay for Disney+ and aren't necessarily interested in its family-friendly content dominated by franchises like Marvel, Star Wars, and Disney animation. Several media analysts support Disney's direction, though, in going all in on Disney+. Further integrating Hulu into Disney+ could save the company about $3 billion through "the elimination of duplicative technology and administrative costs," MoffettNathanson's Robert Fishman said in a mid-July note. UBS media analyst John Hodulik told BI in July that Disney fully consolidating Hulu into Disney+ is "one of the steps they need to take to Netflix-ify their streaming business." Impacts on Hulu's business Although Hulu still gets most of its viewership from its stand-alone app, there are signs Disney's emphasis on Disney+ could be affecting its ad business. According to analysts at MoffettNathanson, Hulu generated the most US ad revenue of any paid streaming service in the second quarter, thanks to its mature ads business, which launched in 2008. However, Hulu's ad revenue fell an estimated 0.3% last quarter, MoffettNathanson said. Hulu was the lone paid streaming service that didn't grow ad revenue in the second quarter, according to the firm. Meanwhile, Disney+ saw its advertising revenue soar 67% year-over-year in that same span, MoffettNathanson said. Despite that, Disney+ has a long way to go to catch up. Hulu's ad revenue was more than four times that of Disney+ last quarter, MoffettNathanson said. "Hulu having slightly lower ad revenue year-over-year while Disney+ has seen a huge increase makes perfect sense to me," the first employee on the ad sales side said, considering the company's continued emphasis on Disney+ over Hulu. Another Disney+ employee said that "eyeballs are shifting into the Disney+ interface," in line with what one of their Hulu-focused colleagues said. Both Disney+ and Hulu have seen gradual subscriber growth, even though Disney hiked prices of each service's ad and ad-free tiers last October. Hulu is well ahead of Disney+ in how much money it makes per subscriber in the US. Hulu brought in $12.36 per subscriber in the first three months of this year, while Disney+ only generated two-thirds of that sum. But Hulu's average revenue per subscriber has fallen in each of the last three quarters, while Disney+'s has steadily risen. Life after Hulu? The idea of shuttering the stand-alone Hulu service has been raised internally as a thought experiment, an employee on the business side of Disney's streaming division who had been involved in those discussions said. "Every time we go through that in our long-range plan, these things come up," this person said. "You're looking at, 'Alright, what would happen if we did this? Could we cut this? Could we merge? What would happen?' So you do those analyses in the background, but not all of them ever come to see the light of day." A longtime Hulu employee said that Disney's focus with streaming has been on a "unified platform." They added that Hulu's tech had "serious degradation" issues and could feel outdated, given that it's one of the oldest streaming services. Still, one potential issue with shutting down Hulu as a stand-alone app is that it's emotionally intertwined with the brand for staffers, sometimes called "Hulugans." "Old employees have an affinity for it," a second veteran Hulu employee said.

Pamela Anderson dismisses 'rip-off' comments about Duchess Meghan's 'With Love' show
Pamela Anderson isn't cooking up beef with Duchess Meghan. "Watch What Happens Live" host Andy Cohen asked The "Naked Gun" star about comparisons between her show and the royal's buzzy Netflix project during a segment on the Sunday, Aug. 3, episode dubbed "Plead the Fifth." "On a scale from one to 10, how much of a rip-off did you feel like 'With Love, Meghan' was of your show, 'Pamela's Cooking With Love?'" Cohen asked Anderson. "There were articles saying these two shows were very similar." "One," Anderson said, rating the shows' similarities. When Cohen asked again if she saw a resemblance, Anderson said, "I didn't." She repeated her answer instead of throwing a dash of shade: "I didn't really look, but I didn't invent cooking shows. She's just doing her thing." Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson and those endless relationship rumors The Bravo personality also asked the "Last Showgirl" star about ranking her four ex-husbands from "favorite to least favorite," which costar and rumored romantic partner Liam Neeson said was "not fair." When the Duchess of Sussex released the trailer for her much-anticipated Netflix lifestyle show "With Love, Meghan," in January, fans pointed out that Anderson's cooking show title also featured "with love." Meghan reentered public life this year and launched a pair of pre-Prince Harry-inspired pursuits – her Netflix show and the companion brand As Ever – five years after the pair first stepped back from their roles as senior working royals for the British royal family in January 2020. A second season of Meghan's "With Love" is set to be released this fall. Before meeting Harry, Meghan was the curator of a successful lifestyle blog, The Tig. Meghan's show has received backlash from viewers and critics alike but she has also garnered a loyal following in her return to public life. In recent years, Anderson, too, has reemerged as a leading lady, known for a softer image versus the years she was portrayed as a Hollywood sex symbol. She landed her first Golden Globe nomination this year for her performance in "The Last Showgirl." Her starring role alongside A-list actor Neeson in "Naked Gun" is the latest chapter in her story of reclamation after years of being defined by the tabloids.

Rewatching "Coyote Ugly" As An Adult Was Pretty Wild
Earlier this month, Coyote Ugly was added to Disney+/Hulu and, upon seeing the title card, I realized I haven't watched the film since my childhood*. *Disregard that this is not a film suitable for children — the early 2000s were a different time! So, even though no one asked, here's every thought I had while watching Coyote Ugly for the first time in my adult life. Before we jump in, here's the synopsis Hulu gives for Coyote Ugly in case you've never heard of this film until now: Our protagonist, Violet (Piper Perabo) is leaving the comfort of *checks records* South Amboy, New Jersey to move to NYC, which is a whopping 42 miles away. Perhaps it's a sign of the times, but if it were me, I would commute into the city until I got a steady paying gig since NYC can be P-R-I-C-Y. She could live for free at home, but then we wouldn't have much of a movie, now would we? So not only did Violet leave the comfort of her FREE HOUSE to pay RENT in NYC, it's an actual shit hole! Gloria (Melanie Lynskey) is a real one for hooking Violet up with some emergency funds. Y'all, Violet is going across the bridge, not across the world! Relax! Cue the wide-eyed-ingenue montage of Violet earnestly trying to get her demo out to all the major labels. As a kid, I remember thinking, "This girl's got moxie!" As an adult, now all I can think is "This girl should have stayed in Jersey!" OK, so Violet mistook the Hot Aussie line cook (Adam Garcia) at the club for an important music man™. I know that this is her dream and all, but for someone who wants to work in the music business, she doesn't know a single thing about the music business. I will say, Kevin is just as much of a smoke show as I remember. Girl, do not unplug a receptionist's phone! That's NOT how you get your demo out there — however, even though she was rude, William Morris' receptionist was the first person to give her advice to help her advance in her career. Violet is a lil' entitled, I'm not gonna lie. She's pushing her demo on everyone and we don't even know if she's talented yet*!*Spoiler alert from the future: Confirmed that she is talented. Ahh, she has stage to make a bad night worse, she got robbed! Not a good night for our girl. TYRA BANKS! Turns out she's a "coyote" at Coyote Ugly, but is going off to law school! So someone is gonna need to replace Violet! So Coyote Ugly is a bar, though, it seems like they waste more alcohol than they sell. According to Lil (Maria Bello), the owner, the only drinks you can get at Coyote Ugly are vodka, tequila, scotch, bourbon, and whiskey — in a shot glass — beer it. Not the place to go if you wanna get a Cosmo! Somehow, I get the sense that Violet is gonna break one of these rules. I, personally, would break all the rules for Hot Aussie Kevin. An establishment that doesn't serve water is an establishment I don't wanna be in! Like, why do people come to this bar? They all know the moves to a random dance, they all chant the same phrase, and they all abide by the arbitrary rules doled out by a not-so-benevolent leader. It's a cult! OK, so Violet is now a Coyote and has piqued the interest of Hot Aussie Kevin. Side note, we're like 35 minutes into this movie, and we have yet to hear one of Violet's songs or even her voice. Talk about a side quest! Hot Aussie Kevin found Violet at work, but she, as payback, is auctioning him off to the highest bidder in order to pay Lil's fine from the fire marshal. Remember that water rule? Came back to bite everyone in the ass because the fire marshal asked for a glass of water, and Violet responded by throwing some in his face, rather than pouring some into a glass. The consequence? A $250 fine that Lil is making Violet pay for — even though the fine is 100% Lil's fault. But hey, that's showbiz, baby! Hot Aussie Kevin is such a good sport. $250 is a steal for that man. Ahh, the answer to the age-old question: Not coyotes catching strays... Oh, Hot Aussie Kevin, you cheeky lil' koala: This man's idea of payback is to take VIOLET out on four dates. If he wanted to, he would, ladies! Hot Aussie Kevin may be the hottest comic book collector to ever exist. Hottie with a hobby. Hot Aussie Kevin is already invested in Violet's career: Hot Aussie Kevin is the perfect blend of precious and precocious. The bar is going up in flames — metaphorically — and Violet's initial thought sing? I worked? Patrons were throwing fists and stealing beers, but it's OK, because Violet brought the house down while lip syncing "One Way Or Another." The sound that came outta my mouth: Rachel may be Violet's rival waitress, but she is funny. OK, you smooth for this one Violet: I see you, girl! 53 minutes in and we're finally hearing Violet's original music: not bad! Pretty catchy, actually. OMG, Violet is singing in front of Hot Aussie Kevin. Kevin's impact! Hot Aussie Kevin is such a precious bean. Like, he's actively helping her with her career. OH NO, HER DAD CAME TO THE BAR! But also, it's not that deep. But also, I get the overprotective dad thing! Ahh, I'm conflicted! Boundaries? Lil has never heard of them. OK, this is actually insane. Do bartenders not get PTO? HOT AUSSIE KEVIN SACRIFICED HIS SPIDER-MAN COMIC TO GET VIOLET THIS TIME SLOT AND SHE BLEW HIM OFF! Kevin is the true hero of this movie, and Lil the Cult Leader is a VILLAIN! I don't condone violence, but I get why Kevin wigged out: I don't care that Zach is a regular, he was groping you without your consent and your boyfriend got upset! do not know what this man sacrificed for you, and now you look like an IDIOT because the reason he doesn't open up about this past is 'cause it WASN'T A GOOD ONE! I take it back, Violet is a villain too. Justice for my boy Kevin. Violet lost her job AND her man! I ain't even mad. She deserved it. DAMN! Her job, her man, AND her dad! This was brutal of her dad, though. He's a villain, too! in this movie aside from Hot Aussie Kevin friggin' SUCKS. No words. "Get discovered! Songwriters' showcase every Sunday night." Be so for real. If only it were that easy. I don't even care that they made up. The most toxic relationship in cinema. Kevin came to Violet's showcase and made everyone "disappear" because that's the only way she could sing her own songs. VIOLET DOES NOT DESERVE THIS MAN! And just like that, Leanne Rhimes bought Violet's song. And, for some reason, is debuting the song at Coyote Ugly. Like, was The House of Blues unavailable? This was the least she could do: This doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of what Violet owes Kevin. Main takeaway? Everyone sucks except for Hot Aussie Kevin. This movie did the made me root for a man. When's the last time you watched Coyote Ugly? Go stream it now on Hulu!
